Would highly not recommend. Overpriced for the lack of care and patronizing attitude we received from Dr. Usry. My wife left with more pain than when she arrived and we couldn't even ask for a professional explanation of why that might be the case. He wouldn't even consider looking at it, in case something else may have shifted after putting things back into place. He instead was defensive and said, "I've been doing this for 40 years, if I would have missed something I think I would know it".We will not be back. read more

The staff in the office are very nice and welcoming. The assistants who help you through therapies are very accommodating and care about your well being. If I could just give them 5 stars I would. However, Dr. Usry's rude behavior and condescending attitude are why this review is being rated where it is. My husband and I went in for adjustments, and we couldn't pinpoint it, but felt something was off. I got called in for my adjustment and Dr. Usry started off just fine throughout the process, and we would be in and out of his office. I was then set up in the therapy room where I noticed intolerable discomfort in my rib area when laying on my stomach. I understand these things can happen after and adjustment, but wasn't sure why the doctor wasn't interested in checking on the situation. With my pain spreading and situation becoming more complicated, my husband decided to decline his consultation with the doctor for his own adjustment. (We had originally asked if he could have a routine adjustment after mine, but that he wasn't in any eminent pain). We later had a few questions about my adjustment and treatment to figure out the best course of action moving forward, as I was still in pain during and after the treatment. The gentlemen who assisted with my therapy went to get Dr. Usry for me. I very kindly began letting him know that my pain had now spread from my back to my forward ribcage. I asked him what he believed he thought my issue was and if he noticed anything out of place during my adjustment for my own knowledge to better understand my situation. Dr. Usry immediately started being defensive and arguing with my husband and I, in the middle of the treatment room in front of all of his staff and patients. For some reason he kept telling us "I did everything I can think of to do" as though I was telling him he didn't do his job. I simply just wanted to know what he thought may be my issue and what he noticed was wrong with me. There was no reason to be so defensive. My husband then asked him why he had such an attitude about us asking basic follow up questions, and he did not take kindly to that. He then proceeded to patronize us the rest of the conversation. All I was asking was for follow up and an explanation on what could be the cause of this pain, now that things had been worked on, and/or if there needed to be an additional examination. Basically I just wanted to know what to expect moving forward. Instead of offering some peace of mind he immediately started quoting his experience and background and that he knows what he is doing and did everything he should have and that he can recommend someone else if we would prefer. We clearly let him know that we were not questioning his expertise, rather asking for some understanding. However, after his outburst, we decided it best to just stop trying and politely thanked him for his time, paid, and left. As we were leaving Heather in the front office was super sweet and trying to help walk us through the situation the best she could while she read the Dr's notes on my examination, as she could see we were pretty shook up. Needless to say we will not be back, nor would I recommend him for anyone. I would also like to note, we paid $200 total for this visit, which included an adjustment and TENS machine therapy, that was forced on me and not discussed that it would be extra and I am still having the same pain I previously had when I went in there, but now it has also spread to another area. In my opinion, this was a very unnecessary confrontation. As a patient I should be able to ask my doctor questions regarding my examination without my doctor thinking I'm questioning his ability. Dr Usry has done so much to improve my chronic health issues. He gets to the core of the physical imbalance. I definitely recommend him to anyone facing chronic issues. Dr. Usry is one of those doctors who really takes the time to explain everything, not all of us went to medical school so its nice to have things explained. Also he deals with nutrition that is natural so I know it is healthy for my body. read more
