    Rhubarb sour
    Elizabeth S.

I popped by here for a quick solo dinner before walking to my Broadway show. There was happy hour going on when I was there so there were some groups chatting and having a good time. The place is slightly under the street so it was a little loud but I was still able to read and enjoy my meal! I got a rhubarb sour on the happy hour meal which was delicious and light with a bit of tart (which is good for me!) For dinner, I got the salmon with fingerling potatoes, cauliflower, and a parsley sauce. The sauce came on the side so I could control the amount. Service was friendly, fast, and kind. The vibes were cute and cozy. Recommend this place!

Oyster happy hour? Say less! Located midtown adjacent, but couldn't be further from the midtown energy. This is a great spot of catch up with friends. Everyone here is super friend and try to be accommodating as the space allows. Pro tip! Can get busy during happy hour so make a res (even if you're just two)

Charcuterie Board and Betty Boop Drink

Solo Date A friend of mine I was planning to meet for an Orchestra Performance in Lincoln Center recommended this place to me. I did make reservations on their website 3 hours before I planned to show up. I figured it might get crowded after 5pm even on a Wednesday and I was right. I opted to be seated outside. There is 6 tables squeezed together on a side walk dividing the passerby's by some fake plants. It wasn't the most comfortable seat but it is NYC after all. When I went inside to use the restroom the place was dark and more noisier than what I am used to in bars. I'm glad I ended up sitting outside. The lady that greeted me at first did not see me staring at her phone. I Literarlly had to get her attention. But my server was very nice and the service surprisingly quick! I got my drink ($19 Betty Boop) and Half Charcuterie Board ($32) in more or less - and I kid you not - what felt like five minutes from placing the order. The drink had a nice kick to it. You can immediately tell they put a decent amount of alcohol in it. The food was amazing. I love a charcuterie board and have been disappointed so many times. This one had a nice variety of meats, cheese, fruits and condiments. I genuinely enjoyed it! I think the prices are reasonable for the quality of the restaurant, food and its location. Bonus: they have free WiFi and I was able to finish an important project before my event.

I was there on a Saturday night. No reservation. I walked in and was seated at the bar. It's a cozy little dark bar. Kind of loud with all the people that were talking. Prompt excellent service. I had a delicious Manhattan. I had the steak frites. The food is delicious. Very cool spot to hang out. Unfortunately, the music just ended as I was walking in. But I was there late. Really close to Columbus Circle.

Very cute bar near Columbus Circle. It was quite loud on a Friday night. We were seated in the booth in the back. I ordered the cucumber mule which was really refreshing and yummy.

Great spacious restaurant with very solid menu. Has patio outside and inside bright and nicely decorated dining area. Service was decent but not over the top. Ordered arugula salad w salmon, others had eggs Benedict, chicken Milanese, club sandwich. Lunch time seemed slow so many table open good place to have meeting by Columbus circle

Was around the neighborhood. Was originally going for the bagel place next door but the line was ridiculous. Came here instead. We got seated right away. Pretty solid place. Latte was good. My steak was done well and seasoned well. I would come back here again. Service was good.

Came here for cocktails and oysters and really enjoyed it! The decor is cute and the service was great. The cocktails were awesome - really enjoyed the Betty Boop. We also got happy hour oysters ($2.50 each) that were pretty standard. I'd go back and check out more of the food. Would recommend! There are that many chill but fun cocktail bars in the area so it's a nice addition.

Stopped in for happy hour while waiting for a reservation nearby. The inside of the bar is very aesthetic and intimate -- dimly lit, great decor, and small tables. Service was friendly and prompt. We ordered martinis and oysters, which were both great. This is a great place to stop by for a cute instagram moment for sure!

This place is an absolute gem. I've lived in this neighborhood for ages and only recently joined friends here for brunch. I'm very glad I did. I came back specifically for the turkey club. Not only is the sandwich enormous you tell immediately that the turkey is freshly roasted. I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say it's the best turkey club I've ever had. As usual I forgot to take a picture but I did grab one of the charcuterie board which was amazing. Our server Ruth could not have been kinder or more accommodating. I will definitely be back.

this place is the very definition of today's TikTok craze: "very demure. very cutesy. very mindful." the husband and I landed here after a Saturday bike lap around central park. I had the eggs, avocado, toast and potatoes. very very good. the cherry limeade (I think that's what it's called) was a miss. we were initially seated outside, but it started to rain, so the hostess accommodated us inside, which was a lovely surprise of elegant garden chic decor. we shall return.

I came here to throw down on some seafood and that's exactly what we did. I found out about this place because one of my favorite TikTok foodies posted that she came here when she was visiting from Chicago. It was also my friend's birthday so we figured we'd check it out. If you come with a group of 4 or more, including the birthday person, they eat for free, which is a pretty nice perk. This place lived up to every bit of the hype. We did the $125 option which includes lobster. If you have people in your group who are on the fence about spending the extra money, just remind them it's only about $35 more and that's basically the cost of one lobster anywhere else. Here you're getting unlimited lobster. The food literally just kept coming. At one point we were running out of room on the table. One thing I really appreciated was that the staff noticed and started putting multiple items on the same plates instead of bringing everything out separately. It sounds small but it actually helped a lot and showed they were paying attention. The drinks weren't super strong but they definitely weren't weak either. If you love seafood, come hungry and bring a group. The vibes were great, the service was on point, and we left absolutely stuffed.

It's honestly a seafood lover's dream. I highly recommend coming with a large group so you can try a bit of everything. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to others.

The flavors in the Manila clams were still a 10/10, but I was disappointed by the portion this time. I had more empty shells in my bowl than clams with meat! I'm not usually one to complain, but I honestly should have said something. The coconut crab curry, however, knocked it out of the park as always. The flavor is out of this world, and the succulent lumps of crabmeat practically melt in your mouth. Pro tip: If you order both dishes, mix a little of the sweet basil clam sauce into the coconut crab curry. The combination is incredible! The Tongue & Cheek cocktail was divine mildly sweet, refreshing, and incredibly smooth, with a velvety texture from the egg white. Service was mixed this particular evening. The host came across as a bit rude and seemed to have an attitude, but thankfully, my bartender was attentive, knowledgeable, and accommodating throughout the night. Despite a couple of misses, Fish Cheeks remains one of my favorites for its bold flavors, beautiful atmosphere, and consistently unforgettable coconut crab curry.

Ambiance: This place has a nice ambiance, definitely very "New York" -- dark (you can't see how dirty the floor is) and loud music (maybe too loud). We sat upstairs (we had a reservation) and of all the people on the top there was a party of 4 (us), a party of 8 (all dudes celebrating something) and the rest of the tables were on a DATE - which I thought was funny. Service: We were served by Ann-Marie who was so delightful. She was kind, super nice, and took the time to speak to us (which is basically how we figured out she wasn't a native New York City person). She gave us good food suggestions and we were very happy with our selection. Food: Here is what we ordered * Steak Frites: My two boys got the steak frites and I have to say the steak was awesome! I had a bite of each of theirs and they each ordered it differently (one Medium Rare/Medium and one Medium) and they both were prepared PERFECTLY. The fries were overflowing. * Caeser Salad with Salmon: My wife got the salad with Salmon (they only have a few salad options) and she enjoyed it. * Prawn and Crab Risotto: I got this and I have to say it was VERY bland. I wouldn't get this if you are looking for taste. I had to put salt and pepper on it to make it have any semblance of taste. Value/Price: I would say this is not over priced but it is not cheap either...bill is attached. I would recommend it to folks who are looking for a good place to either go out on a date or a family type meal.
