I read that he couldn't come later since he wasn't at home, he got upset, he started yelling at me on the phone and told me that she was going to come and leave the door outside my house. I told him that I could not be responsible for that door, since no one was home the next day, I called his phone many times, he did not answer and he told me that his truck had been stolen and that he had no possibility of coming with put up my garage door. Sunday passed. I waited on Monday, Tuesday, I contacted them, upset again, yelling at me, I had to file a police report and today, Thursday, they promised that they would come in the morning. I called them this afternoon and what was my surprise when they told me that they were not going to come. I wasn't going to do it and I had to wait for my money. If I wanted it for a month or more, it's a very irresponsible company. They try to scare customers away from complaining. I really wouldn't trust a company that threatens its customers. They get upset because they yell on the phone and threaten to call their lawyers if they continue to bother them and they practically try to tell me that they are not going to return my money. I really suggest that you do not trust such people, they are irresponsible and arrogant, to which I suggested that I would go to the door since I already had a check that covered the value of the garage door, and he said no, he did not have it. and that he was not going to give it to me because if I wanted to wait a month, seven days or even a year for my money to be returned to me, I would have to wait, really try to avoid construction companies like this since they are going to have a bad taste in their mouth. Now I have to buy my garage door myself and try to get my money back.

Every other company I called either told me that they were too busy to give us a quote, completely failed showed up to the appointment, quoted us much higher, or gave me a bit of an unpleasant attitude. I even had to explain to one highly-rated company what a soffit was not once, not twice, but three times! (A soffit is the underside of the roof.) Horner Roofing is the only company that checked every box. They were: - professional - communicative - friendly - reasonably priced. Because of our work, I have communicated and done business with countless companies in various realms of home improvement. When confronted after weeks of excuses they pulled out of our contract & ran away with upwards of 70k & only completed about 50% of the contract. The new contractor has to literally redo more than half of the work they completed. Look this man up & his son up on "Mycase Indiana" & you will see lawsuit after lawsuit. I wish I would've known this before we were taken advantage of, hopefully it can save people a headache.

If you're trying to hire someone for a job, and they can't meet the minimum standard: communicating and showing up...then they're not worth hiring. Especially when dealing with contractors. While I cannot speak to the service they actually perform, they never made it that far; I consider it a bullet dodged. Consider this before doing business with them.
