This place is garbage since the new owners took over. I used to take my cars here exclusively. Now, every time I come I get nothing but trouble. Took my wife's car here, I asked them a number of times to test the battery, they swore it looks like the terminals were dirty, and they wanted to chop them off and replace them ($90). Got the car back, still had issues. So I took it down to Autozone, tested the battery and sure enough it was bad. Replaced the battery all was good again. All they had to do was run a 1 minute test to see that the battery was having issues. Everytime I take a vehicle here this is my experience. read more

On 12/13/2011 I was interested in a vehicle at a local automobile broker, KDK Automobile Brokers; and before purchase, sent it to All Care Automotive for an inspection to make sure the vehicle was a safe purchase. Before I continue, I'll remind readers that yours in vehicular-having-got-screwed is fully aware that for $65, an inspection isn't going to be all-inclusive. Moving forward, a month after purchasing the vehicle upon a cleared "inspection" from All Care Automotive--which cited only need for an oil change, everything else having looked "great"--I am now facing $3300 in repair charges, including: - Full clutch kit, including flywheel - New front drive axle - A differential reseal Total: $3,332.00 Any mechanic worth their salt would have been able to catch at least one of the forgoing big ticket issues. It should however, come as no surprise, that shops like this exist. It is to Joe and his gang, to which I send a hearty one-finger salute from Michigan. And to Joe, having never dealt with you personally, I will disclose that the "inspection" was done by a signed "TW"--or at least that's what it appears to read. Thus, I can say with the utmost certainty, that Joe and his mooks "inspections" are most likely to entail a drive around town, playing Wham's Jitterbug, drinking orange smoothies, and between sips, listening for noises from the engine and checking the interior. If you are interested in that sort of service, I'm willing to drive down from Michigan, and charge you only $50 for the same treatment. read more

Joe and Dan are fantastic. Prices are reasonable and they get the job done. But here is why I rank them with 5 stars. I have had my car into their shop 2 times and both times they talked themselves out of doing work. I had two not very common issues on two separate occasions that I didn't think would have been covered under the dealer warranty. Once the gentleman their diagnosed the problem, either Dan or Joe called the dealer before calling me, discovered the repair was covered through the dealer, and then called me back to tell me that I should take my car to the dealer for the repair since the dealer would fix it for free. What other mechanic does that? You guys have won my business as long as I own a car. read more

My experience at All Care Automotive has been the single most unpleasant and disappointing experience I have ever had with an auto repair shop. The service (and I use that term loosely) was inadequate at best, the owner/operator was dishonest and long story short, my vehicle is now in need of further repairs, is not driveable and any liability by the owner Joe is being shirked. Im also in the process of investigating whether some of the work was actually even completed. In my opinion, unless you want your car to be in worse condition than it was when you sent it, I would suggest going ANYWHERE other than Joe's All Care Automotive in Brunswick Ohio. read more
