This place is WONDERFUL! Everyone that works here is kind, professional, and patient (especially you, Andy!). We had to go not once, but twice over the holiday weekend. First, for a headlight issue and then the very next day for a problem with the latch on the trunk. Both times we were in and out within minutes after a brief and thorough explanation of what the issue was and how to address it moving forward. I went to have my oil changed at VIOC in Brunswick, OH on 9/3/20 and have been going to this location on and off for a few years. They used the wrong socket to take off my oil filter, which I could tell by the CLUNK made. They tried to tell me it was from the previous oil change; the person had failed to lube the filter to prevent this. Too bad my dad is a mechanic and witnessed the oil change in question done by a PROFESSIONAL. The workers were as clueless as the manager. I think his name is Tyler; hard to see name tag when he basically hid from me after this happened other than get my cell phone number. They said they'd take care of it, duh you broke it. Be warned if they say it's going to a car dealership; the dealer can outsource the job to someone else. They tried this and I had to fight for reputable garage to fix it. Damage was over $500. Not worth the risk or lies. BTW I am a female but know enough about cars so their crap excuses didn't fly with me. read more

The wife and I have been getting our oil changed here for quite a while now. This is one of the few oil change places that doesn't seem to insist on up selling you a bunch of things that you don't need or want done. Today I brought in one of our work trucks. I let the guy waiting on me, who happened to be the assistant manager know that this was a work vehicle and I was just looking for an oil change. Neither he nor the other mechanics there tried to put on any pressure to get other minor things done to the truck. I have been to other places where that is all that they seem to do. They did not put a filter back in my canister! They could be giving away oil changes and I would never go back! I usually change my own oil. I was in a rush and had them do it. Yesterday I changed my oil and found they did not put a filter in the canister. Was charged for a filter. WTF DO NOT TRUST! read more

Very nice workers but the job done was not proper. Got an oil change, it's common to clean oil spill but they didn't. Stopped by car care to get my car fix for different reasons, they pointed out and showed me the spills done after the oil change, and failed to report that both front stabilizer were broken and/or popped off. read more

I needed to stop somewhere quickly and get my oil changed without making an appointment. When I pulled up the friendly mechanic said they could service my car immediately and I did not even need to get out of my car. Three mechanics helped with the oil change and they were all so friendly and accommodating. They efficiently changed my oil, air filter and checked the other basic things on the car. I was out in ten minutes. Using a coupon, my price was just above $30 for the oil change. It was my first time back in years to Valvoline. I went to the one in Brunswick because it was the closest location to me. I have to say that it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. All the employees were super nice and making sure I was okay with everything they were going to do. They explained everything they were doing from start to finish. They were not like many other places where they try to sell you services you really did not need. The service was done quick and easy, I appreciated the whole experience!! I went to get my oil changes and tires rotated and I brought my own air filter when I pulled away I though the amount seemed high,but I just asked them to email me a receipt, So I called them they said they gave me the $10.00 coupon I had off the oil change which they said was 52 so it went down to $42.00 $25.00 tire rotation which was no biggie but the y also said they charged me a 32.00 labor charge, I never heard of that at an oil change store when you get a price to get your oil changed that should be it, I will not be going back there. read more
