I had the pleasure of dealing with three instructors from All Care Driving School for having to relearn driving after six years of no practice. My primary instructor was Yolanda and she did a wonderful job of determining my needs on day one to make sure I was getting the right training in all the areas I was lacking. She kept track of my progress and kept the training between our sessions consistent. My second instructor was Kelly and she was only present for one session to replace Yolanda during leave for medical reasons, but in that time she was able to maintain my training in a consistent manner and imparted very handy advice for my driving needs at the time. Lastly I was supervised by Paul on the day of my road test and he did a wonderful job at making sure my technique was ready for the test. He was also very knowledgeable and helped me keep cool so that my nerves did not get the better of me while I was taking the road test. I passed on the first try and I could not be more satisfied with the service I received. The school kept me timely informed of my lessons and resolved any difficulties that arose in scheduling in a reasonable period of time that worked for me. I did use three different vehicles for my lessons but the differences in their models and handling were not significant enough to impact my experience in any way. I also took my 5 hour per-licensing course at All Care and that was a very enlightening experience that changed my outlook on how I approach the road, I expected it to be a drag, but what I got was a genuinely educational experience. All in all the people I interacted with were professional, caring and respectful towards my needs, I am very happy with what I got for the competitive price I paid. read more

Please choose another driving school for your teen. My daughter's school used All Care for Driver's Ed. classes through her school. My daughter's instructor was horrible. He obviously was not familiar with the area. The kids spent every class driving the same route over and over. My daughter drove the same road every single time she drove. One lane roads and each kid in the car would drive the same route every time they drove. The driver, Frederick, did not speak to any of the kids in the car. He only would tell them to turn left or right. Besides that, the car was silent for all of the lessons. They did not learn how to merge, parallel park, change lanes or drive on a parkway. When trying to reach out to the driving school, they ignored my calls and did not call me back. For the price that I paid for my kid to learn how to drive, she learned nothing from this driving school. I didn't want to submit a complaint with the school district, as I feel this was not their fault. I had no choice though since nobody from this driving school would return any of my calls. My kid finished driver's ed. but is no way near ready for the road test. I would never recommend this driving school to anyone. Please be careful before you choose them and just make sure that you have an instructor who at least likes their job a little bit and isn't rushing to get done with the job so that he can go home. read more

My experience taking lessons from All Care was great. Right away on the first drive my instructor gave me good tips and made me feel comfortable in the car. Then in each lesson my instructor actively helped me improve my driving, answering my questions thoroughly, and continuously giving good and relevant tips. Throughout the lessons, I drove on all types of roads, including neighborhood streets, turnpikes and expressways, and was comfortable on all of them. Of course, we also drilled the 2 main road test maneuvers (3-point turns, and parallel parks) to the point where I can proudly do both. The cars I drove were all Hondas or Toyotas which were mostly in good condition. Some are definitely better than others but none was really worn down. Now there are some other things you may want to know before scheduling. The first is that their recommended plans are best if you practice in between lessons. If you can't do so, then you might have to take more lessons in order to become good enough to pass your road test the first time. You may also want to know that there will sometimes be someone in the back seat, who you'll be driving home. So the lessons aren't 100% private for the full 45 minutes in that sense. In the end I did pass my road test on the first try and would definitely recommend All Care driving. read more

My driving instructor was John and honestly even though I didn't meet the other instructors at the school I won't hesitate to say that John is probably one of the best if not the best one. He's super chill and really helped me out. He has a great sense of humor and does not make you feel bad for making mistakes. I was able to practice all the basics I would need for my road test and though I did not pass the first time (it was my own fault and due to my nerves not John's teaching) I passed the second time with only 10 points off! He's super easy going and a great conversationalist even while helping you drive. After I finally passed my test he treated me to a slice of carrot cake to celebrate! The school also always calls the day before any lessons you have just to remind you of your scheduled time so if you're not much of a daily planner person like me this is really helpful. You really cannot go wrong with getting lessons here but you especially cannot go wrong with having John as your instructor honestly he's the best! read more

It's very rare for me to write reviews for places I've been to, but in times of exceptional service, I feel it is absolutely necessary. I've attended this school around 3 weeks ago with ZERO experience in driving. Had no idea how to even properly turn a steering wheel. Although I was really nervous, I had amazing support from all the instructors in this school, especially John. Most of my classes were with John and because of him, my confidence on the road has skyrocketed. He has not only prepared me for the road test, but he's also prepared for driving in real life situations. He'd demonstrate every technique I needed to know in a polite manner and made driving really enjoyable for me. I truly appreciate all the work he, among with all the other instructors, have done for me. Three weeks later from the start, I managed to pass my road test without a problem. Jonathan was a very helpful instructor (probably as good as they get in Long Island), teaching you the best possible driving techinques to help you succeed. Before I was in this driving school, I was kicked out from a two faced instructor that didn't teach me what I needed to learn. Jonathan taught me techniques needed to be successful on the road test and on the real road (which many instructors are unconcerned for) Even the five hour course they have is great and very insightful, and I learned very much from my experience there. it wasn't just a video, the experience teaches you to be the best driver you could be, without anything negligable and unneccessary being taught to you. The overall experience landed me about 5 points off on the road test (which is very negligable compared to the fact that I'm on the road) and they have taught you everything you need to be a defensive, perfect driver on the road. read more

all care is a great school. i had jonathan as my instructor. when i 1st started i was really scared and jonathan kept telling me that i could do this. i was so worried about everything especially my parallel parking and lane changes. in less than 2 weeks i couldnt believe what i was doing and how he got me out of my scared state to really feeling super relaxed doing it.he showed me the simplest way of parallel parking that i have ever seen. i was taught something different from another driving school and always was so far away from the curb. then i would hit the curb too, not his way. he even got me driving on the highway and long island expressway. he is really caring and super patient and he knows his stuff. i dont have any more anxiety, i would highly recommend him to every body. this guy is so awesome. thank you sooooooooo much all care and thank you soooooo much jonathan. read more

I went to this driving school because my friend had taken his test and failed 4 times before taking a couple of lessons with YOLANDA. He finally PASSED!!! I took a bunch of lessons with other driving instructors and all I ever heard was how I was doing everything wrong, but they could never tell me how to fix it. Until I went on a lesson with YOLANDA, not only did she tell me how to FIX my mistakes, she was SUPER PATIENT, and explained everything CLEARLY and in DETAIL. I had Jonathan and he is great because he knows the steps very well. He makes sure that I know the ways and that I make up my own ways in handling the steps behind the wheel. He made sure that I don't get too nervous behind the wheel. He helped me to keep myself in balance behind the wheel. I get enough confidence and caution behind the wheel to drive safely, he knows that I know the steps then I get better as a result. The more I drove with Jonathan as my instructor, the better I get. He is very helpful in helping me focus behind the wheel. He gave me advice which helped my driving ability. He also pointed out when I would make mistakes and encourages that I would learn from them. He is nice to talk to and didn't want me to get so stressed. Because of his techniques and what he taught me, I passed the test. So, I would recommend him as a driving instructor. read more

Almost like every person i just googled about a driving school near me and went to this driving school, i've read reviews on yelp most of them said they are happy with their driving and got their license. I'm glad that Jonathan is my instructor. He is funny and cool. He teaches you his techniques and makes you realize how simple is driving. I should say this the way to parallel park the car is so cool that it makes you think why is parallel parking so hyped about being so hard. I took all my classes during weekends and sometimes they asked me if i can do the lessons with another instructor but i didn't want to. I took around 10 lessons and a couple on the day of road test just to boost my confidence before driving and i got my license. The number of classes depend on how quickly u can adapt the skills. I just had my road test and I passed - on the first try! Yay!!! All thanks to All Care Driving School and my instructor Jonathan. I took a lot of lessons with him over the year almost every weekend, with few months break because of the pandemic. Jonathan is very patient, kind, experienced and funny person and he taught me everything - stops, turns, parallel parking to most important - feel comfortable behind the wheel and believe in myself. I passed my first road test today, thanks to Jonatan from All Care Driving School from Hicksville. After looking for weeks and months for a good and affordable driving school and I was also looking for a flexible schedule that worked with my time and for someone that was going to to be a good teacher. I purchase 5 lesson package and my instructor throughout my lessons was Jonatan. he is very patient, he works with you and he teaches you all the basics of driving. I am happy to say I passed and got my driver's license on October 4th. He truly cares and wants you to pass. I couldn't be happier with the results. It was a convenient, super cool, and hassle free experience. I came from India (left wheel drive) and didn't drive for almost 3 years in US. So it was learning from scratch (right wheel drive). My instructor Jonathan was great in quickly brushing up the basics. The school took care of the permits, classes, and lesson scheduling. My confidence was down after failing the first road test. Jonathan was patient and keep pushing me to be a good driver. He helped me to become a better driver, not just for the sake of passing the road test. I highly recommend this school for folks who either have never driven or who had prolonged gap since driving a car. Office is very friendly and instructors are all experienced. I thought driving wasn't for me, but when it came down to job hunting it is what employers asked the most. It was limiting me to only a few jobs and it's not what I wanted. When I first started this with this school my first instructor wasn't great so I had them change him to another instructor who was a 360 change from the first one. His name is Lee. This instructor is amazing and I love him because of it. He taught me everything I know and thanks to him I feel ready to take my road test that's very soon. This school helped me find a quick road test along with teaching me to drive. I thank them very much for their help, whether I pass or not.
