Communication is terrible. They were very late in the appointment to view our property for a quote, had to reschedule and were still late. We said no worries, we understand. We asked for our lawn to be mowed and they offered to give us a few quotes for other work which we said we'd like to see. They cut the lawn and did a good job, but we never saw the other quotes. We wanted to get on a schedule for lawn mowing but they didn't help us set that up. I texted back a few weeks later for another cut and they said they would look at their schedule, but never texted back. I asked again if they had a chance to look and they ghosted me. He went to several nurseries and sent many pictures of the type of plants we wanted. Told him what we wanted and he was back the next day with his crew and installed the many plants we decided on. Man does this guy have a great work ethic. I called 35... hear that, 35... landscaping companies to come do a house for me under time pressure. 33 of those never even picked up the call. Only around 3 of them returned a message. 1 of them said he'd check out the house and give me an estimate and didn't. For about five days. But MATHEW, that guy is another level of hustle and hard work. He called me back within seconds. He was polite and friendly. He said "I'll give you an estimate shortly." He drove to my house immediately (not close to where he was.) And called me from there -- yeah this is price: when can I start? And 12 hours later -- a quarter of an acre of yard looked brand new. They hired uninsured and unlicensed sub contractors and said they were part of All Clear. Has has zero cash in the bank and will not give a refund if you are not happy. First local services review! As we are now new homeowners, we knew we'd need help with lawn care. We both have allergy issues, so we knew we wouldn't be able to do it ourselves, and the grounds around our new house in Gulfport had been neglected a bit while the house was on the market. I found All Clear Landscaping and Tree Service here on Yelp and seeing more than 15 positive reviews gave me the confidence to reach out for a quote. That was Sunday morning. Less than five minutes later Matt from All Clear had reached out to me through Yelp to schedule a free quote. The next day he was out at the house to make his bid. He was friendly from the start, he was enthusiastic about the work and very informative about the types of trees we had on the property and what we should do about each. Finally, his rate for the initial job -- clearing rocks and a few trees, weeding, edging, mowing, and clearing debris -- was reasonable, to say the least. We honestly didn't feel the need to take any more bids. We gave him the go-ahead and he and his team went to work later that day. We were very pleased with the results! Matt and his crew were all very friendly, and they had great landscaping ideas for the property going forward. Antoinette, who was handling our questions and communications over text messages while the guys were working, was also very friendly, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. First contact in good faith February 22, 2022 with a request to have a tree removed from my property. I contacted him again on March 21, 2022 questioning why I had not received a letter from an arborist or the city stating that the tree did in fact need to be removed so I could get HOA approval. He told me that you needed a deposit of $750 before you would proceed. I sent him $750 through Wells Fargo's Zell account. (Don't pay with Zella it is the same as cash, Wells Fargo can't help with disputes; his request) After many excuses even blaming his secretary, no permit. I asked for a refund on April 21, April 26, May 18, May 24, and May 26. On May 26, I was told I would have the money refunded in 3 days. June 10, did not happen, now he says he does not have to refund my money. He did refund $600, but wants to keep $150. The law says differently: It may be inferred that a contractor intended to deprive the owner of the right to the money owed, or deprive the owner of the benefit from it, and inferred that the contractor appropriated the money for his or her own use, or to a person not entitled to the use of the money, if the contractor fails to refund any portion of the money owed within 30 days after receiving a written demand for such money from the owner. (c) In a prosecution for a violation of this section, the fact that the person so charged intended to return the money owed is not a defense. (5) A person who violates subsection (2) commits: (a) A misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083, if the total money received is less than $1,000. The Consumer Review Fairness Act makes it illegal for companies to include standardized provisions that threaten or penalize people for posting honest reviews. read more

Phenomenal Service! We needed help recovering from the winter with a front and back yard absolutely covered in leaves (provided kindly) from two huge oaks we can't remove. I called to schedule a quote and was told someone would come by this weekend between 8-9 to assess. No one came by. I called and left a message about 3 hours after the scheduled appointment time to inquire about the missed appointment. Had a palm tree fall during a bit of a wind the other day. Woke to find it down and a business card in my mailbox. We knew we were gonna have to remove the palms soon due to their age and condition.
