In a nutshell: - this was my bad because I rushed things. The contractor could have been more honest and forthcoming. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM REGARDLESS! - I was looking for a fix on a drywall in the garage ceiling...about a 24" square. I needed it done quickly as I now live out of town. - the person that came out to provide the bid didn't know what they were doing. No measuring, just guessing. - the initial (over the phone) quote jumped by $200.00 because of the need for extra materials? - no formal bid was provided with any kind of breakdown as to labor and materials. - i was quoted "at least 8 hours of work due to the size of the job". It took him three hours! - i priced all the materials at Home Depot. They came to a total of $106.00. I was charged $1000.00. - i was told the price was due to the travel time. HA! This company is located a few miles from the job and the worker they sent over was on another job two miles away. She offered to come out for an estimate on a house we wanted to purchase, but needed a wall replaced & repairs. The estimate needed to be split between the sellers & us. She basically ignored us, I had to measure the walls & space myself. She didn't respond or show any interest to the print-outs of replacement items I had from Home Depot All she did was point out that the water heater had been leaking at one point. read more

The reason I am giving a poor rating for this paint service is because All Climate Painting broke numerous roof tiles while painting the exterior of our home. When I raised this to the company owner, Lucy, she first said after speaking with her team that the roof tiles were already broken and that they do not cover damage to roof tiles (we have barrel clay roof tiles). The cost to repair all the tiles broke around the windows and chimney where the were painting, is $1,650 plus. Please note Lucy also has a roofing business and wanted to charge me for the repairs. In addition, the painters wanted to end a day early when painting our foyer and stair railings - as a result the stair railing started to blister after the job was supposed to be completed. Yes, they did come back 4 times to fix the rushed paint job. Also, the hallway adjacent to the foyer was part of the interior paint job. Come to find out, that the paint job did not include painting the door trim which was never told to us. And they wanted to skip painting two walls between the hallway and foyer because it had a different color. They did use high quality paint both interior and exterior. The jobs were neatly done. If you plan to use All Climate Painting, you need to be super specific and ask about how they will deal with any damage they may cause during the job. Take pictures before the job starts. read more

I had a ceiling repair to be done. I was in no particular hurry, but All Climate was prompt in viewing, quoting, and repairing. As in, immediate response even though close to a holiday. They went well beyond what I was expecting, were meticulous, courteous, and clean. And owner Lucy Petri was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Review Us on Yelp "I had a leaking skylight couple weeks ago, Charlie came over the same day I called to diagnose it, along with a general inspection of the entire roof per my request as the roof is 35 yrs old. Lucy and Charlie worked out 2 proposals and went through details with me over the phone to help me understanding. Before I was able to decide on which proposal to go, a rain storm was forecasted. They offered a kindest help by doing a tarfing over the leaking area as a cutesy for my future contract. Charlie came over the next day with his crew, did the most clean, high quality job tarping a much bigger area to be 100% sure and secured the tarping with sand bags, plywood and tiles. I was so impressed by how much they did to ensure 100% protection from the rain and security from other harsh climate such as strong wind. I feel so safe with the tarping as if I have a new roof now. The manner when they performed the job is just as impressive if not more. The entire team is like trained in army, prompt, sharp, precise, clean, quick and efficient with perfect collaboration with each other. I'm so glad I found them and decided to use their service. He measured, told me what he was capable of doing; flooring, paintings, popcorn ceiling removal. Great. He told me he would put together a bid/proposal/ quote that evening and would email me. That was the last I heard from him. No email, no phone call, nada. He went dark on me. On top of the roof tile replacements, we also asked them for a roof inspection and they were able to point out a few other items that needed repair. Lucy came out to quote me a price for some exterior trim and shutter repainting and while she was here she also looked at my handrail to go upstairs that was wearing out due to normal wear and tear. We have a 100 year old stucco house, with plaster walls in the kitchen and bathroom. We had a huge crack on the exterior of the house that was growing, and cracks and pealing painting in the the kitchen and bathroom. Lucy's skilled tradespeople did a great job in repairing the exterior crack, and restoring my kitchen and bathroom walls to their original glory. They worked hard throughout the day all day for three days scraping off the bad layers of plaster and paint, and applying fresh ones by hand. It's so beautiful. I appreciated that Lucy provided a free estimate, and once the contract was signed, she was very responsive until the work was completed. The crew was very nice and friendly, worked well together, seemed to enjoy working together, and cleaned up better than any tradespeople who have worked in our home.
