No "Frecka Plumbing" or any greeting. That should have been my first red flag but I let it go. I am not sure how she heard any of my conversation since I was having it while the phone was ringing. So I get an appt and this guy comes out and says that he's been to the house before (great I thought ...he knows the place, we just bought it last month). Go over some issues and we go upstairs and he points out a leak that I didn't even know existed. I told him I was glad he found it since we were replacing the vanity anyway. I asked him if he could add that to his list. He looks at me and says "what are you talking about?". Gee I don't know, you're a plumber, you pointed out a leak, maybe thats what I mean? I think a 3rd grader could figure it out. After another confused conversation he looks at my daughter's boyfriend and says "Am I retarded?" (referring to himself). I don't know why he said that, other than perhaps he thought I wanted him to replace the vanity (which I didn't and never asked him to). Besides, how did he know maybe perhaps I do have a genuinely retarded relative? That was a very unprofessional and extremely rude thing to say! I don't expect, and never would expect a plumber to do remolding work. Even if he thought that is what I meant, why not clarify before the condescending attitude?? At this point I almost told him to get his tools and get off my property. He tells me he will have to get an estimator out to give me a quote on the work. it's been one week and crickets from Frecka No worries - I wouldn't hire Frecka to fix a leak in my pool floatie let alone my house. I called Kline and Kavali (nice people working there, imagine that). Had the problem taken care of two days after they came out. Stay away from Frecka unless you enjoy being talked down to. If you do, then this is the company for you.

Now here we are in April 2026 my sub pump failed again. I called and was told that my previously purchased sub Pump was under a three-year warranty so I would not have to pay for a new sub pump just labor cost. Someone came out and told my husband the cost would be $450 to replace the sub pump and then suggested he buy a better sub pump with the labor would be $750. My husband requested I only want the sub pump I purchased with the warranty. I do not need the labor. The plumber then left refusing to give us our sub pump and said that's not how we do business. IT WAS NOT DOCUMENTED that it's only under warranty if their plumber replaces it. I've called and inquired of the sub pump we purchased and they told me they would get back to me and have never gotten back to me. They are in fact avoiding me Getting a Lawyer by the way!

He did not check the main water line for cracks or looseness, he did not manually check the clamps for tightness, and he really didn't do anything. $100 for that call. Fast forward a week (and I'm now on vacation) and I'm informed my garage has water seeping from under the garage door. Yep, a loose fitting came apart and water was running freely for a couple of days. My daughter came over and shut the pump off. Called Jennings and they sent a guy over to reconnect what they failed to secure (in my opinion). What a mess I found upon my return. They are unwilling to help with repairs after sharing my concerns and shock. So to you my friends, think on these set of facts before calling.

I called Plumbing Excellence in a pinch when our water heater started leaking. Anthony responded quickly and worked into the evening to get a new one installed, and we had hot water again that night! We were so satisfied with his work and his service that we hired him to fix a gas leak in our fireplace, too. He did, and now we have a working fireplace again, too! Thanks Anthony! Anthony was meticulous but not slow in getting the job done right, kept communication open and honest, and waited patiently at my house while I finished pricing other options. He explained that a hardware store water heater is of cheaper quality than the "professional" model he would install. He also correctly guessed that a competitive quote had come in lower because they did not factor in permitting the work, which he felt was important, and I agreed. He did look for multiple ways to save us some money, including combining visits, not charging for the initial investigation of our gas leak, discounting a subsequent job; he even researched the design lifetime of my new water heater and recommended against getting an extended warrantee in my case since the heater was built to last at least that long if not longer. Anthony and team were friendly, passionate, and a delight to have at our house. I would hire Plumbing Excellence again or call them for advice any time!

Gas company comes out to turn Gas back on and says it's still leaking. Call Buddy's back out, they now say the leak is coming from the main line going into the house, and give an estimate of almost $6000 to fix. So, let me get this straight...you want me to hire you again for a $6000 job, when i just paid you over $500 and you obviously didnt do much of anything except maybe do a pressure test which accomplished nothing and benefitted me zero? I don't think so.....
