All Creatures Animal Hospital, is by far the best animal clinic, I have ever heard of, and without a doubt, experienced. Called them about a foot/toe growth on my 13 year old yorkie. was told by Mount Dora Veterinary Hospital is definitely cancer and that they wanted $1200+ to just run some pre-tests on Mia. All Creatures Animal Hospital, did everything for $914(surgery and all). Mount Dora Veterinary Hospital didn't even have any experience with the procedure, and they told me it was definitively cancer and to just make her comfortable for the next few months. it's been 4 months and its been now 2+ weeks since the surgery. Stitches out, and she is back to our normal 2 mile walks a day. All Creatures Animal Hospital is an incredible place with supremely nice people. Mount Dora Veterinary Hospital appear to have basic if not any knowledge of the animals they diagnose and they charge more than any clinic I've ever experienced or heard about. I been coming here for several years now and I would never take my Cat Mindy anywhere else. I have other cats that trust me for some reason in my yard that I care about that I also bring into Dr. Kim to examine when i feel they're not well. He knows what's he's doing and he seems to know what's wrong with your pet by just the examine. The prices are a bit high but based on my experience with All Creatures both Doctor as Staff are well trained and very kind not just to pet but owner as well. They may have decent services, but when someone on staff does not know how to provide a quote for euthanasia it presents a big problem and wastes everyone's time. I called to get a quote and was given a price around $200 to euthanize 2 rats. I called back to schedule the appointment and I was told $265 total for the 2 rats. The girl on the phone even put me on hold to double check the price as I asked her to do before I finalized the appointment. $265 is fine, it was not that far from the first quote. When I showed up for the appointment and they were about to start, I received a paper quote for $390. When I told them I had received 2 quotes and the last one was for $265 which is when I made the appointment they just seemed to say "well I don't know who would have told you that..." They then wanted to charge me for the exam fees even thought all the vet did was walk in for 30 seconds and say, "yes they have tumors, we put them to sleep first then euthanize". I now have to pay exam fees and all the other costs for another vet that gives proper quotes. If you go here just make sure to write the name of the person that gives the quote, call back later and make them reconfirm and get that person's name, and then before you even walk back into the exam room make sure they repeat the correct price. read more

We love this place. We don't just use the as a vet for our dog, but also as a kennel when we go out of town. We travel a lot, so a good kennel is important to us. They are located close to the airport, making drop up/pick up easy. The staff is also very nice. They always tell me how good my dog is, which is nice. I'm sure they say that to everyone, but it still makes me feel good. The prices are also among the most reasonable in the area. I have paid twice as much to board at some other places. Dr Kim is also very good and we use him for yearly shots or any ailments our dog might have. He is so gentle and kind and I never feel overcharged like I have at other vets. I will continue to use them for all my vet needs. read more

Two words: Animal abuse! I brought my new puppy here to get neutered. He charged me $300. I picked him up hours later and noticed he only had two stitches with an inch gash in between them. I asked the front desk lady to grab the vet as this must be a mistake. But he assured me this is his it's always been find. By the next morning I noticed my dog had moved his cone and managed to pick at his stitches. Now the entire thing is open. I ran him back to the vet and the vet grabbed a staple gun and slammed 4 staples into his wound without any numbing or anesthesia. I started sobbing while my puppy was yelping and sobbing. And The vet then had the audacity to charge me $100 for a new antibiotic and cream. He should go to jail for animal abuse. We never went back and I tell everyyyyone to stay very far away from this animal abuser. read more

Unprofessional. We just moved to Florida, my husband & I adopted our 3rd puppy from a shelter and they recommended this place. Today I brought in my new puppy. We've had her for a few weeks tops. After the vet tech weighs my puppy & goes and gets the doctor I hear nothing but little girls talking "oh my god she's so under weight" "wow" "oh my, I wanna go look at her" first off we just switched her food from what the pound was feeding her to the food we give our other two dogs. We were told not to over feed her to do half and half so it doesn't upset her stomach. So all of the comments & conversations going on right outside the door where I can hear is absolutely disgusting. Stop being so rude. She's a 6 month old puppy. She was off by 15 pounds or so, she was not being starved. Don't be so unprofessional. read more

Even though I live a bit far from this hospital, I would not change it. I've taken my Lhasa Apso for all of his check ups and shots and I've always had a pleasant experience with Dr. Kim and the staff. Price is reasonable and they are very caring. Dr. Kim took his time when I took my ferret as well. I highly recommend this place! read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! This vet seems to just give a puppy a quick glance when he knows it was either bought at The Puppy Spot or Petland. Really makes you feel like he just gets a cut from whatever they make. Also I was informed NexGuard was the new best thing to cover dogs from fleas and heart worms. It doesn't protect from heart worms at all! The vet tech was more interested in giving me flyers for toys and training (which makes you feel like she's getting a cut from that considering she said they are always her favorite.) GO TO THIS VET AT YOUR OWN RISK. No wonder the rating is 3 stars. read more

This is where you need to take your vet to. When my dog got into a car accident, other vet charged me double amt of what this vet charged me. Also, I told him my situation (being a student) and he gave me a discount. He did really well on my dog's surgery and I like how they call me to let me know when my dog needs to get vaccinated and etc. All the vet techs that work there remember's almost all the patients dogs, also it seems like they really care for out dogs/cats. Be advised that if they have an on call vet that that more than likely will not be able to do a neutering or a spay. I went to this is that a few times each time I went the vet was rude, short and cold when handling my 4 month old puppy. I've had dogs before I'm not sensitive when it comes to having my animals get shots or procedures; however their on call vet or staff could not put in a simple cathiter. The vet did not bother to explain what went wrong or why they did not bother putting on my dogs harness the right way or cleaning him off when they gave him back to me. I found it very unprofessional for the way that they handled the situation. There are so many other options besides this place I'd really advise choosing somewhere else that does these procedures more often. read more

Last night I noticed my cat, Paddles, looked like she was dying. so. instead of putting her thru any more misery, I tried to find an animal hospital that would do it and not cost an arm and a leg. .a friend told me about All Creatures Animal Hospital. I called and got an appointment right away.. well. they saw her,, did blood work then told me she isnt dying..she has flea allergies.. WTH.. wow.. thats awesome.. the place was spotless. the staff extra friendly and the prices were reasonable. Dr. Kim is amazing! Our dogs have been going to him since 2008. He has helped save 3 of our dogs from an eye injury, diabetes and Addison's disease. His staff is very caring as well- our Lillie loves Kyle! I will never take my dogs anywhere else. Thank you Dr. Kim & Staff for always taking care of my "kids"! The negative reviews on here are not true! Dr. Kim is not there only when he is going on a yearly mission trip out of the country to help the less fortunate. I've been going here for about a year. Amazing, compassionate vet! I took my dog in for a regular appointment on a Saturday around 11am (they close at noon on Saturdays) and Dr. Kim found that my dog had a big rock in his stomach and it needed to be removed immediately. Even though they were getting ready to close, Dr. Kim didn't want to risk my dog's health and performed emergency surgery to save my dog from further internal damage and stayed well after hours for him. All the employees here are super sweet and friendly and are super informative. I also took another one of my dogs here to be spayed, and you can't even see a scar. Very reasonable pricing as well, I highly recommend. read more

We love All Creatures Animal Hospital! It's a bit of a drive from our place but we go there anyway because of their amazing service. The staff is always super friendly and remembers our puppy, Mia by name every time! Dr. Kim is great and always makes sure things are clear. He even showed me what her skin sample looked like under a microscope when she was being tested. From talking to others about prices of their vets the prices seem very reasonable. Always a great experience! I would recommend them to anyone. read more
