Stay far away from this place. They will charge you for work that was never done. Absolutely no communication whatsoever.

They mount my bike tires for less than a dealership. They do a great job at a good price.

A 1.5 star rating (24 reviews) made me reconsider. The saving grace was a buddy who had an awesome experience with them last year trading in a bike and buying another. I decided to go check them and the bike out. Let me say that everyone was courteous, actually friendly and helpful. Mike Ballard took over from Daniel, the Internet contact I had been working with to schedule a test ride, and the sales manger (sorry cool dude from VT, I forgot your name) stayed with me throughout and answered my myriad of questions about the bike. A complete safety inspection of the bike was done before I test road with Dave, a very professional rider, and when I got back no one was pushing the bike sale. It was like a bunch of dudes just talking about riding. They were in no hurry and I felt like they were truly interested in my concerns and questions regarding the pre-owned motorcycle. They were happy to negotiate the sale like you would hope all your vehicle purchases would go, and it was super easy to get to a price both they and I were happy with. SO, while most smooth transactions don't ever get posted as a review and every bad experience is lit up like a roadside sign, I figured I would add a good plug for them. BTW, I typically never answer review requests, so this is a one off that I thought needed to be posted in their favor. It's hard to come back from poor reviews. I hope this helps others and encourage buyers to work the "art of the deal" and find that compromise where both parties get something. Thanks RideNow Powersports and your entire staff.

I do not write negative reviews often, but I feel other consumers should be aware of my experience…read more I bought a brand new 2026 Kawasaki KLX 230r, expecting it to arrive new and free of defects. What I got was that, before I even got to test ride it, I found a stripped plastic mounting point, a deformed washer, and a bolt that fell out. To find issues on a brand new dirt bike was appalling. What really upset me about the situation was the conversation I had with management. Instead of sympathizing with how unacceptable it is to send a customer a defective brand-new dirt bike or apologizing for my situation, I was told they could come get it Saturday morning and would have it fixed and returned to me Monday morning. Thank you for providing transportation, but that response failed to address how I was upset about losing my BRAND NEW dirt bike before even trying it out. It didn't address how I spent my hard-earned money on a NEW bike, not a bike that needs repaired immediately. If someone had sat down with me and apologized while discussing how they were going to make this right, I would have been understanding. Instead, I felt like my concerns were being handled as just another day in the office rather than the large quality problem that it was. I WILL give credit to Tony in sales. He was excellent during my entire buying process. He was professional, helpful, and truly cared about giving me a great experience as a customer. I have no frustrations with Tony whatsoever. My issue is 100% with how management handled the situation post-sale. When someone spends thousands of dollars on a BRAND NEW dirt bike, they deserve better than what I got. They deserve not to find defects before taking it home for the first time, and they deserve someone who actually cares when they reach out for help. I truly hope management changes how they treat customers who run into issues like this. Because how you handle problems is usually remembered more than the problem itself.

This started out as a 5-star review and continued to plummet. Here's our reason:…read moreAbout the first week of August, when we moved to Florida, we went to Hawthorne's to check out their golf carts. They seemed personable and had good reviews on-line, so we went back and met with the owner about August 7th to purchase. We found an EzGo that he said he could switch out the black body for a blue one and we built it in his office from there. He didn't offer too much information, but we did our homework, knew that we wanted the turn signal mirrors, extended roof, cargo back, etc. He occasionally would say he's giving us a deal on this or that but didn't really help with the choice of matching colors or anything that more motivated shops had offered. This is important as we chose a body-color that was on the floor and continued referring back to it as we chose the seat and curtain covers. At one point, we changed the seat covers to a better match. That was one huge issue as that change did not get made and the delivered cart looked horrible! If he's been doing this for 20 years, you would think he would have mentioned something when we chose the first color - the wrong color - to begin with! He stated that with Covid the delivery would be in 2 weeks. We gave the downpayment and understood the reason for the wait. At the 2 week point, WE CALLED THEM to ask where the cart was. It was apparent by the response that they had not even started as Brittany told us they just ordered the seats the day before! They told us it would be "Friday". On Friday, we again called THEM. This is my biggest issue, we continually called THEM for follow up. After repeatedly calling and getting the runaround, we were told that our cart was being delivered after 6 on August 28th. This was 3 weeks from the date of purchase, not two and I would have rather them just told me the real issues, rather than rush it, as the cart delivered was a mess! It literally was filthy with something spilled all over the seats, scuffed up, and not what you would expect when buying a "new" "customized" vehicle for over $13k! The delivery person did a dump and run, did not show us how to operate anything or give us time to check it out. We discovered that not only were the seats wrong, but electrical covers were not properly installed, the rearview mirror was missing, the battery that he said was charged was empty, the roof was scuffed, the tires on a 2021 cart were from 2017 (and tires do have a shelf life), and the speed was incorrect. We contacted the son of the owner, Jonathan, who said he'd be out to fix the speed. He has never come out. We took pictures and made a list, sending it to him of what was wrong. He apologized and said it wasn't how they want to do business. We believed them and wanted to work with them to make things right. The constant following up with them on the incorrect seats and the speedometer not being installed went on with excuse after excuse until October 16th, more than 2 MONTHS after the original purchase when everything was finally resolved. We literally called Jonathan at 4 pm on October 15th and he said, "Oh, ya, my guy is going to be in your neighborhood tomorrow and come by...." REALLY??? When were you going to contact us??? This was so typical! He then had to call back and say that he lost his driver and he'd be by in the morning. He was and did the final fix. We wanted to give them a 5 star. We'd have at least given a 3 star if they had called US to follow through. Had to take one star off for the initial disgrace of the condition of the cart at delivery and one more for the aged tires. But the lack of customer service is where they lost it completely.

The "cons" include unkept promises for deliveries, zero communication from staff, no updates no matter how many months go by while you're waiting for news. No responses to emails or phone messages; you have to catch someone directly by phone to get your next 'I don't know' response. Very poor vehicle prep and bad amateur installation of extras you ordered when your cart does eventually come in nearly half a year later. Lots of excuses and they're never at fault. Customer service as well as mechanical service are both useless. We have since bought an additional cart and never considered buying that one through Hawthorne because of the extremely poor service we received. The possible price savings definitely wasn't worth the stress and frustration to us.
