Let me start by saying I found a used bike they were selling and was ready to go test ride when I came across YELP's reviews of RideNow Ocala that basically tore them apart new A**hole. A 1.5 star rating (24 reviews) made me reconsider. The saving grace was a buddy who had an awesome experience with them last year trading in a bike and buying another. I decided to go check them and the bike out. Let me say that everyone was courteous, actually friendly and helpful. Mike Ballard took over from Daniel, the Internet contact I had been working with to schedule a test ride, and the sales manger (sorry cool dude from VT, I forgot your name) stayed with me throughout and answered my myriad of questions about the bike. A complete safety inspection of the bike was done before I test road with Dave, a very professional rider, and when I got back no one was pushing the bike sale. It was like a bunch of dudes just talking about riding. They were in no hurry and I felt like they were truly interested in my concerns and questions regarding the pre-owned motorcycle. They were happy to negotiate the sale like you would hope all your vehicle purchases would go, and it was super easy to get to a price both they and I were happy with. SO, while most smooth transactions don't ever get posted as a review and every bad experience is lit up like a roadside sign, I figured I would add a good plug for them. BTW, I typically never answer review requests, so this is a one off that I thought needed to be posted in their favor. It's hard to come back from poor reviews. I went to buy a bike listed on there website at $5495, I sit down with the guy and he slides over a paper with an over $9,000 price! no way. I was floored by the amount of add ons they piled on. Finally got the price down to something I could afford but I still left there feelin cheated. Another issue was the bike was shown with hard luggage on the website, they brought the bike out to me without them. I was told they were broken and would fall off. I insisted they give them to me. Turns out there was absolutely nothing wrong with them. what kind of games are they playing? And lastly the bike had heated grips but the controller was damaged. The salesman said he would have the shop look at it. they just cut the wires off making it impossible for me to find or make a fix. Finally decided to purchase a 2025 Honda Rebel 1100 dct SE. I called during the week to find out they did not have one in red/black and only had them in orange/black. On Saturday my wife and I went to look at the orange version, which I decided against. They did however have a used 2025 1100T dct with 8 miles on it. It had saddle bags, luggage rack and a cowl with a shield, which I did not want, but decided to find out what price they would take for it. We spoke with the finance officer Dave and had Justin as the sales person. We waited at the table for Dave who initially brought out the numbers, which bumped up the price from $12,999 to over $18k. He did say we didn't have to buy the battery warranty, or tracker, which could be removed, so we opted to do that. When he returned, we noticed the sheet indicated an over $1,200 destination fee. I inquired as to why there was a destination fee if the bike was used and Dave proceeded to blame Justin for the mix up saying he provided the VIN number from the new bike, which was false, as we watched him go outside to the one we were considering and write down the VIN. When Dave returned, the price went down; however, now the price sheet indicated an $805 fee for "parts". He stated that when the bike came in their mechanics gave it a once over and changed the oil, which sounded like a load of crap, as it only had 8 miles on it. Finally, the sheet had a tag/title fee of $625, which means they added fees to that as well. It does not cost nearly that much to register our Nissan Truck, for two years, which is worth more. We walked out, because I am a disabled veteran and 22 year retired law enforcement professional and have no time for people who lie and commit fraud by attempting to charge a customer for a destination fee. During the entire time, they never reduced the asking price of the bike, but instead just kept removing erroneous fees to make it look as if they were trying to give us a deal. Too bad, because they could have made a sale. My credit is over 800 and I have the down payment in hand. In my years of experience Ride Now has never risen above the level of poor in terms of customer service. Regardless of the department I've dealt with. But across the board they have reached a level of rude and informed in sales particularly...they collectively have reach a level not so much that they suck but to what level of suck which I believed was not possible in a business. The short story? Those waiting children waiting outside the front door have little to no clue of motorcycles and useless when I have to reduce the level of the inquiry to that of which a first grader could understand. When it came to whether a model was in stock and if not...might it becoming in...and I get the response, "I'll have to go ask my manager" ...then stands there as I wait...but then goes back into the sales person huddle by the front door. Four weeks later after 4 breakdowns I wanted a bike I could trust, so got a 2015 Street Glide for $ 18,000 Aprx. and paid full price.. realizing later I had not got credited the $10,000 from the trade in and my total for shoping at Ride Now for the Street Glide came to 28,000 ... wanting my $10,000 back or my motorcycle, Ride Now has failed to answer the integrity I was hoping for... its been about 5yrs now, and I can testify that honesty is not there best policy...Gibsons Custom or Warhorse Harley would be much better choices to buy from reputable dealers.. $10,000 for a 30 day ride on a Vision would stretch the most liberal of minds on anything close to a non criminal enterprise... I have spent several visits at each of the RideNow Power Sports Ocala locations. I visited with my son to buy a preowned motorcycle. To give this some context, I have owned or been around motorcycle since the early 1970s when I bought a Honda CB350. Over 30 years I owned more than a dozen bikes of different sizes and brands. I also have a degree in engineering and worked in senior management in a few large international companies with full responsibility of financials, engineering and manufacturing management. I rate my customer service experience regarding the floor staffing in every location has been very good bordering on excellent. Issue is not with personnel but with company policy. I was ready to purchase a preowned 2018 Harley Davidson Sportster with only 2,000 miles. The financing was approved and everything looked good until I questioned about the warranty. I was told that they went through all used machines in their shop but would not provide any warranty. I killed the deal right there. I am not talking about a high mileage machine. I am talking about a machine with approximately 2,000 mile that their service department supposedly "went through" prior to being put on display. However they refused to furnish any warranty what so ever! I speak for myself when I say that I will not do business with any company who will not stand behind their product. To me that is an irresponsible slap in the face of any potential; customer. Buyer beware with this outfit. I personally do not have any confidence in their moral or ethical values nor do I believe they value their customers. The attitude I perceived with their General Sales Manager was arrogance at being questioned. Maybe I should have bought a more expensive machine or had a better credit score? read more

Stopped in at Ridenow recently to take a look around and see if they had the helmet I was looking for. The bikes are nice, but finding a proper sport touring bike is becoming very difficult. Not Ridenow's fault, of course... the market is just not sustaining those kinds of bike these days. They did have the helmet I wanted, which was actually amazing due to the oddball size I needed. They were not able to find the proper helmet bag that was supposed to go with the helmet, so they gave me a different one. No big deal as far as I am concerned, since a bag is a bag, and I never actually use those bags for their intended purpose anyway. read more

Sooo, I took my 2024 Shadow Aero ABS in for FirstService, when I got the bike back there was a rubbing, clicking noise from the front end. I called and made an appointment for them to check it out it out as after all they had just worked on the bike, and the noise wasn't there before. I specifically told them the noise couldn't be coming from the engine because it didn't increase nor decrease for revs. But they insisted the noise was valve lash and was normal. Said it was ok and charged me $212. Well lo and behold the noise was still there. I know, I know, I should have checked it myself. But I figured what the hell they just worked on it, let them check it. Well, when I checked it I found the pinch hex bolts for the front axle loose!! Removed the axle and found it scored! Tightened it up anyway, not as much noise. So now I'm going to have to replace the axle and probably the bearings. All because of an incompetent tech! Will be using them again? Probably! Can't blame the company for one incompetent tech. My wife's Metropolitan is coming due for first service, and I'll probably take it to them. We'll see, fingers crossed!!!! read more

If the "out the door" price doesn't scare you away, the service will. Purchased a used bike from them a few months ago. Price on the sticker said $5k. Got into the office and I am staring at a $9k out the door price. I haggled it down to $8k. Now that I think of it, I should have just walked out the door. A few months later, I get a nail in the rear tire and it's a fast leak. I remove the nail and plug the tire just so I can ride to the dealer for a replacement. After the new tire is installed, service manager tells me I have a check engine light on. I never had one on this bike and never had one today. They tell me the speedometer is messed up and not displaying correctly. I ask them to fix it, and they tell me they don't service Yamaha and recommend me travel to a dealership all the way in Gainesville. There is a Yamaha dealership next door and I take it there. Never once did Ride Now say they were sorry or even try to make good on their error. I'll go elsewhere for my motorcycle service and needs. Steer clear of this place. Once they have your money, they don't care about you anymore. read more

I went to get a rear tire changed and I brought my own tire ..I called and asked how much to change the tire ..I was told that it would be 70$ plus tax ...as high as that was to just change a tire I agreed and rode there ..after they had my bike and started working on it the total came out yo be 102$ they apparently failed to mention. 30$ of hidden cost and at first I just was in a hurry so I paid it assuming there was a reason why it cost more then I was told and when I got home I saw all these charges that I have never heard of in my 15+ years of motorcycle riding ...they charged me to use there own tools ...wtf... make sure you ask for total cost before they work on your bike . I have the rpm one service package where they come and pick them up from your house service them and bring them back. They went in for service came back both with no fuel left in them. I know they left with it at least half a tank of fuel somewhere along the line in their possession, they drain the fuel out of them, and furthermore, they never put the oil cap back on the motor. Good thing I looked. Still waiting to hear back from their service manager, which I probably never will definitely would not recommend this place for anything. If they make it right I will change this review until then it stays.update: it's been 2 weeks now still no call from service manager. Totally avoid this place and save yourself a ton of aggravation. Well there are no signs on the buy one get one half off bins that say half off retail price only and they covered the retail price with the "yellow discount sticker". Well they were struggling to make it work and called over the parts manager to help. Well he came over and snootily said "we are really arguing about 20 dollars?" As if we were the issue here. My husband didn't raise his voice once and he was incredibly patient and for that man to come out and say something so unprofessional is ridiculous not knowing the financial state of a customer, that is absurd. I expressed a serious interest in a bike that was for sale and drove 90 minutes to see it. I was kept waiting for 45 minutes only to be told that it could not be test ridden due to a brake problem, but they would let me know when the part was in and I could see it. After a week of crap calls from them asking me if "I enjoyed my test ride" and would I like to go ahead and buy it, I advised them of their errors....there was no test ride as it was in their workshop. I called again 4 days later to check on it and they said the part was still not in, but someone else bought the bike. I had no call, no text, no email asking if I wanted to buy it first. What a great experience! This was my first motorcycle purchase and I was not sure what to expect. The entire staff was friendly and courteous. I was introduced to Danny and we hit it off great from the start. He was thorough with his questions to make sure he knew what I wanted in a motorcycle and to best place me with the bike that fit my needs and wants. Warning! I went in to buy a used 2013 Street Triple and the floor manager Dave E. sneakily tried charge me extra for parts already on the bike! When I went to ask them for the invoice, they told me it wasn't for me to take home. Fortunately I snapped a picture on my phone showing the hidden $897.63 parts fee which is illegal to charge and is a DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICE. Last night I filed a complaint with the Attorney General, the Division of Motorist Services licensing department, and the BBB using that invoice as proof. Looking at the past reviews I am AMAZED that no one reported these people and the reviewers just settled on writing a review and moving on. Well thanks to me I will be making sure that this place is investigated for deceptive business practices along with false advertising. I am just so APPALLED by the fact that they can and have been doing this to people since 2004! I came into the dealership with the sole intention of buying the Street Triple. bought a can am outlander in 2022, brand new. First experience was getting a speedometer recall fixed. Brought the atv up for repair. Got it back home and it was never fixed. Had to bring back again to get it fixed again. Not long after that the starter drive goes out. 750 dollars later. Dropped back off and the thing wouldn't start. You would have thouget they would have also realized the battery was shot. Replaced that and not long after it quit running again. Now they want to charge me 1300 to just tear the engine down. I bought a brand new machine so I didn't have to worry about major repairs. I also have an issue with customer service. I heard a young man being rude with a customer. When he got off the phone he blurted out he was a F#cling idiot and storms out. These people not only are rude, but they sell junk and have no clue how to repair these machines. read more

This place was great, all reps are respectful and very professional but after this incident idk if I will be coming back. I purchased two units from them, 2023 Teryx 1000 4es and a Kayo fox four wheeler for my little brother. Few days passed my little brother was riding the four wheeler as he was turning the corner he lost control of it and flew off of it. I checked the four wheeler, the nut and bolt that holds the shocks and control arm together is completely gone, not like it broke off or anything it seems like it wasn't tighten correctly and the other side is missing a nut. He only rode this four wheeler for a little bit and it's not like his riding it recklessly for the bolts to fall off. Idk how they prep these units after purchase but I'm pretty sure these comes on a crate that they have to assemble if I'm not mistaken. Also they claim the unit is new but it has rust all over it. I called the dealer to let them know about the incident and one of the employee told me that the managers are having a meeting and that they will contact me once there are done, sure. Never got a call from them. Was hoping to handle this through the dealership but I guess not. Very disappointed! read more

I just assume give the store a zero rating and not waste my time writing a review. Although after reading the majority of other reviews on yelp I've decided that they were pretty much spot on. This place advertises the hell out of their inventory on cycletrader.com however when you get there the inventory that they advertise is nonexistent. Which in the grand scheme of things is not really the biggest problem... I arrived and witnessed many, many employees, far more employees than customers in the store, milling around. I wandered around through the motorcycles and then to the ATVs and then outside to where the dirt bikes were. After about 25 minutes of aimlessly walking around I decided to exit the building towards my truck. I walked right through five sales guys standing at the entrance just talking... not one of them said hello, can I help you with anything, have a nice day, nothing... Zero communication whatsoever and that goes for the entire 25 minutes that I was walking around the building. Completely and totally ignored! Be careful when dealing with Ride Now. I made a deal for a new dirt bike. However, when I came in to finalize the paperwork and bring my trade, they completely unraveled the deal.
