Much of the work had to be done by hand. They had a very efficient team come twice; once for set up and then when weather permitted the pouring of the concrete. When the day of work arrived, two other guys came to do all the work and Dale was here for less than an hour to collect his down payment and "make nice." Guys that put the fan in didn't wire it properly. Then they did less than half of the storage in the garage. And in doing so, cracked one of my support beams. Then proceeded to re-install my ballast so that when I opened my garage door for the first time, the garage door cracked the ballast and sent glass bulbs flying everywhere. I have scratches on my car which was in new condition up until then. When I called Dale to complain, after relaying all of my concerns to him, he proceeded to yell at me on the phone saying that he never stated he would be performing the work, that I was thinking of another contractor, and that if the "mess" the broken bulbs caused was too much for me that he would come over tomorrow to clean it up. I then told him I wasn't comfortable having him or the guys he hired in my house to fix or clean up anything. Dale is lucky that he already cashed the down payment check because for the issues, time, and money they have caused me I would have canceled that check. As it is, I am out more than $500 and will have to have all of this work re-done. STEER CLEAR of Dale and Hibbard Home Improvement. You will regret working with him. **Edit to add** I filed a complaint with the better business bureau, who I am confident will do nothing to help me rectify this situation. Was very dismissive on my questions, briefly described two solutions that "may work" but did not express confidence that he could resolve my issue. Walked out shaking his head without even providing me a business card or contact information. I've had three other contractors out over the past two days each of which were very informative, respectful and took the time to actually sit down with me, explain options, provide detailed account of what was being proposed and an actual estimate. This was a waste of time, would not recommend this company at all. If they are this unprofessional and uninterested before the job even starts, I cannot imagine their level of craftsmanship and professionalism would improve if contracted.

We had three cracks that were letting water in and had to be sealed. The price was fair and the job addressed exactly what we needed. A crew for workers came out and completed the job in about five hours. Steve came out to supervise in the beginning and then he left. We had estimates from other companies and felt at this price and approach to fixing our problem was the best we could do. We are pleased with the work that PJK provided.
