My fiancée had many requests before departing this world, and one of the most important wishes he had was to be cremated. During his hospitalization at UC Davis, we were given a hospice care packet which included a lengthy list of crematoriums in and around the Sacramento area. After careful consideration between family members, it was decided that All Faith Cremation seemed to be a good choice. It had one of the most affordable prices for a "no frills" cremation package. We scheduled an appointment and met at the office located in a warehouse district. Pam Mee was the director who was very kind, sympathetic, and helpful with all the legal ins and outs concerning our loved one's arrangements. They take over the transportation from the hospital, handle multiple pages of paperwork to be filled out, officially file the death notice to the state, offer urn selections in their show room and disperse required fees to the various offices. Everything of importance was handled at All Faith, including the death certificates, which I'm grateful for. It was a comfort to have this cremation service conveniently available to guide a grieving family through the process of losing a beloved family member. Not empathetic, unprofessional, and dissatisfied. My step mother picked this place for my father to be cremated. I previously cremated my mother in 2020 so I had an idea of what to expect when it came to cremating someone. All Faith Cremation was a big disappointment. We had Pam as a case manager. She was not empathetic toward my family and I during this difficult time. My fathers death was unexpected. When we were trying to decide if we wanted to see his body, there was certain prices that were told to us but when it came down to what was supposed to be charged, it was almost $200 more than we were told. To view my fathers body before cremation, it was nearly $1700!!!! $1700!!! Times are tough and this was something we didn't expect so to not be clear on pricing services was unprofessional. When we were debating whether or not to view his body, they told us we could only have four people in the room. Pam said COVID rule have not changed at All Faith Cremation. Even though no one was wearing a mask and no one was social distancing in the place of business. I understand it's a business but the experience felt cheap, and we were very dissatisfied. If you're reading this in a moment of uncertainty, from one son to another, look around and find another place. read more

I don't know how the price was compared to others. $700 for an urn seemed pretty excessive to me. The real problem was how unprofessional an unconcerned the young lady seemed. She joked about her hair appointment while I sat with my parents discussing how to handle my brother's remains. She could care less that these people lost their first born son. ****DO NOT ENTRUST YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!*** We were told to "COME PICK UP YOUR FATHERS REMAINS BECAUSE ALL FAITH IS NOT A STORAGE UNIT" This is after we made many attempts asking if his remains were ready. My grandfather called every Saturday for 3 weeks and was told someone would call him back each time. "Pam" calls my sister 1 TIME, 3 weeks in saying she left our brother 2 messages (he did not get) by Pam's admission she waited 3 WEEKS between attempts to call our family. She also admitted on their company's recorded line that she told my sister "they are not a storage unit" the very first time she made attempt to contact her. As a person in the Social Work field I am appalled at this treatment. I plead for this organization to have sensitively and trauma informed care training for their frontline staff. When I asked Pam if she thought she may be desensitized she shouted that she had lost a son recently. Pam I am sorry for your loss and really hope this experience changes the way you interact with the bereaved. Maybe reflect - why would you speak to the bereaved the way you do? Do you feel as if your loss is more significant? Please also check your policies and procedures. Why would your organization wait 3 weeks between outreach attempts? Also your 3rd party message service is not relaying messages (per your admission) please check this workflow. I really hope you all can take this to heart and that no one else who is grieving will have to experience this. read more

A few months ago my mother asked me to find a place to do her cremation when she died. Never having to do anything like this, I choose All Faith Cremation based on their Yelp reviews and pricing. After her passing at home (she was on home hospice) in late June, All Faith came to the house and was very respectful when taking my mom with them. I went to the office to meet with Rachel who couldn't have been more helpful, I explained what the family wanted, there was no up-sell, no trying to convince me to spend more money on a fancy urn, she was incredibly professional but also caring. Two weeks later my step-dad passed away and I met with Rachel again, she knew I lived a 7 hour drive away and needed to get back home, three business days later she had my step-dad's ashes and death certificates for me.
