We ventured in on a Saturday afternoon and we were greeted by a very friendly woman who explained everything to us. She was very thorough about the directions and made us feel very comfortable there. We really enjoyed the painting experience. The temperature was comfortable, the store is bright, with lots of windows to look out, and the music was soft rock, not too loud, with a good variety of tunes. The only thing I'd say could improve the experience is if they let us bring in wine. They only sell bottled water and sodas. We were there for several hours, and I got hungry and wished i could enjoy a glass of cab to bring out my artistic side a bit! But overall, I really liked it and would definitely go back. read more

Very cool place to go with kids or significant other. Staff is very helpful and accommodating! If I were to manage that establishment I would either have to hire all new employees or put the current employees through a rigorous six-month training program for appropriate and flawless customer service. I tried to take my daughter and her friends there this evening and had the worst customer service I have ever received. although getting there 3 hrs before they closed they stated they could not seat parties of more than 4 without a reservation which is not stated on their website or anywhere to be seen. This was only mentioned to us after they made it seem that we could get a table after an hour wait. I've gone into here several times and loved the actual pottery painting experience itself. You can create anything you want from anything displayed around the store. The employees, however, are a different story. They are miserable and condescending to everyone, especially those of younger age. I walked in there today after the cutoff to paint, my fault for not reading the website clearly, but the way the girl in the tortoise shell glasses said it really irritated me. She then went to the big girl at the counter and was clearly talking about me, something that isn't at all professional. This is a big problem for me as I love to paint pottery and this is the only store in the area, but talking down to younger people makes me not want to visit again, and ironically that's the majority of who goes there. read more

I was stunned by the rudeness and lack of professionalism from the staff here. We had a few kids in the store wanting to make an end of the year gift for their teacher. Quick and easy, adults making their handprint on a plate. We were immediately fussed at for not making a reservation for our session when there were clearly open tables available. When we stated we called to ask questions, but didn't know we needed a "reservation" we were told that no, in fact we didn't call. Oh OK...right. What I'm assuming was the manager was extremely rude and condescending towards us and our children and actually yelled at one of the children in our group for trying to slide out a chair to sit in. All Fired up is great for kids. I've taken mine several times. Lots of choices of things to paint and lots of different painting styles. The price is not to bad. My family has had lots of fun making things to give as presents. read more

While we were there, the service was great. I then come to find out that they lost my pottery. The employees are very unorganized and quite frankly not persistent on their work. I am beside myself at the fact that this is a pottery place where you "paint your own pottery" and they lose the pottery you painted. In my opinion it takes an unqualified and inadequate being to loose something so simple. What is the point of having the purple pick-up slips that they give you if they don't even use them properly. Not to mention the fact that I was sat next to a very loud table and I believe that it should be a tranquil place to paint and have a nice time. Overall, I am very disappointed in this business because of my experience and the fact that I went for my 16th birthday and had a horrible experience. Rude. Rude. RUDE!! The first time I went there there wasn't a problem. Their selection was good and they were helpful. The second time was enough to make me decide to never go back. They speak to you like a child and bark at you. It's sad because it could be a great place to take your kids on the weekend but at my daughters expense I will go back. EVER. And it seems like they ignore the reviews because I'm not the first to complain about the attitude. I didn't force them to have their jobs. I saw the sign and came in one day--the manager was in and she explained everything, the paints, brushes and pick-up times. I hadn't painted in years, and it showed, but they let me sit there and splash away for hours! No rush, and they had all sorts of things from dishes to platters to piggy banks--the variety floored me. Prices included the piece, paint and time filling a chair. Very relaxed atmosphere, homey and friendly. I don't have kids, but they are ULTRA-patient with home school groups and messy fingers. That might be what I like best about them; it's hard to find patience in business nowadays. Good job, All Fired Up! read more

called and spoke to an associate on may 11th around 3pm, got info and liked it so I told the associate ..."Book It Book May 22nd 12:30 -2:30"! She said she put it in the calendar and said we are all set! I challenged the informal nature of the booking and she assured me we were in the calendar and all set! My husband called on may 16th to confirm and was told someone would be calling to solidify the event, they reviewed the party policies with us and everything. My husband called again on May 18th to confirm, again, the party, and was challenged by the party coordinator, which no one informed us existed, even after two calls. She exclaimed that "no party was booked unless it went through her". She challenged the validity of the booking and my husband became frustrated with the obvious lack of communication amongst the staff. When the coordinator was challenged by my husband to check her facts and records she didn't like that and told us the party we never had booked was now cancelled because they didn't want to do business with us? Hmmmmmm Now my eight year old daughter and all her parents and friends will have to make adjustments for a party im not sure where it will be. This company missed out on an amazing opportunity to do business with two people who understand how a good business is run. We treat people with dignity and respect, however, we have very little respect for foul service which is ultimately a reflection of an owner who has become stagnant and complacent. read more

Unfortunately you can't give ZERO stars. We are never going back here again. The young lady came up to us, after we choose tables and pottery pieces, and told us we have to leave because the tables were reserved. I find it hard to believe that they hadn't had "time to put the signs out" on 3 open tables during the 10 minutes from when we walked in until they said something. On top of that, they said we had to wait until 8 seats opened up even though it was just 4 kids painting (only those painting got a chair and no one could sit on laps). So after waiting over 2 house we came back, surprised to see 2 tables open. But of course they were "reserved". They couldn't even give us an eta. The last time we went, we asked if they had any platters to decorate around the holidays. They told us no. We asked if they had any coming in and they said they weren't sure. Right after we started painting somethings else did they bring out a whole box of large rectangle platter. We were RUDELY told that they just put out what they have. They don't know what comes in. And then the woman promptly walked away without any other explanation. There are several other excellent pottery studios in town now and I can whole heartedly say they will be getting our business from now on. read more

All fired Up is so much FUN! I have been in several times now to paint various pieces and I had a blast everytime! they have so many diffrerent paints, etc to choose from in order to make your piece original and beautiful. The staff is both friendly and helpful. They greet every customer when they walk in the door and go out of their way to make sure you not only feel welcome but help you become knowledgeable on how to paint properly, etc. It is very easy to spend every weekend there. They have also done away with their studio fees so each price you see on the various pieces they have to paint, is what you will pay all together. It takes a little less than a week to get your piece back glazed and fired and it's a keepsake you will cherish for a long time, they also make GREAT gifts to loved one's! I took my parents there to paint and they came from Tenn! They had a ball! I would reccomend this place to anyone! Stop on in...you won't be sorry! read more

I was at this location today and while I was enjoying my time painting the pottery I watched the manager scream at a woman who was asking about her piece that had broken in the kiln. I heard the manager tell the woman she was never allowed to come back and continue to berate the woman. I will never come back here due to the horrendous customer service. read more

My wife and daughters had a terrible experience here - and we wouldn't recommend it. They prepared items for Christmas gifts and shortly thereafter, both daughters were hospitalized with respiratory issues. We went back, admittedly, well after a normal time-period and the management was unwilling to even look for the items in spite of our circumstances. The management's attitudes were pretty bad. Based on that experience, I couldn't recommend them to anyone going forward. read more

I'm not sure if the ladies that work/own this place think this is the only pottery painting company around but they defintley act like it. From the second our group of four got to the place until a week later when we picked up our pottery, these ladies were so rude it was unbelievable. Manager Sucks !!! That Lady with the Tattoos can be really bitchy and moody for no apparent reason. I have been there quit a few times and she seems to be worried about stains and brushes than the kids who are actually paying to keep her in business. She,s not a kid friendly person and will one minute be nice to you and the next minute she will snap at you or your kid. I will not be holding any more birthday parties there in the future and would not recommend this place to anybody else. The owner of this business should worry about his or her business and weed out the Bad Apples that can ruin it. She's rude and should not be anywhere near a business which requires customer contact whatsoever . This is a place that kids and adults alike are supposed to come to be creative and have fun while doing it . If they are soo worried about stains and brushes maybe they are in the wrong business . Upon arriving with my 3 grandchildren and spending $25 on each, I will say that our experience was only a little less than average. The person in charge did greet us but proceeded to rattle off by memory quickly all instructions and had us proceed on our own from there. No help offered after that!. One of the children asked if she could get help removing a mistake but was told to use more elbow grease. There was only one other grandmother in the entire shop with one child present. All in all they thought it was ok but I felt they could have been offered more assistance on their first trip. A little personality goes a long way in any business. Will not return to this establishment. Know it would be fun with a group who already knew the routine. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! My husband and I went to make a plate for my mom on non busy afternoon. We were asked to move to the back corner because we had a SLEEPING newborn baby with us. Then she abrasively told me if the baby cried I had to take him out of the store. I was mortified and told her that I knew how to deal with my baby if he woke up or started to cry. Love this place! I always go on weekdays because the place is generally pretty empty and quiet. The staff is always cry friendly and if you are in the mood to converse they can hold a conversation. Horrific customer service. My daughters and I were standing there outside in 100 degree heat outside store waiting to pick up their pieces. While three employees noticed us and ignored us. I finally took my kids to car to get air. We are moving to another state and this was our only chance to pick up the items. I was hoping they would come to door , mention opening time and I could graciously explain our situation. With every minute they ignored me, I got angrier. Employee finally came to door and yelled at me for being angry. "No store opens early!Not 7.11 or Kmart!" She was flailing her arms and rolled eyes. When did patrons become a problem? These two little girls wanted their treasure to take to their new home. Instead I left them with the foul girl. I don't want a reminder of her attitude. Great businesses make exceptions and see relationships over transactions. read more

I love this place. My daughter had her birthday there yesterday and she had a blast. The Adults and the children had a lot of fun. The birthday room was private and very nice. Down right rude and unprofessional..As a past customer who has visited this location many times my wife and I\' last visit was very unpleasant and probably our last. We had stopped in on Saturday 2/23 to inquire about a birthday party for our daughter, it appears you don\'t allow parties for children under 7 which is understandable. Upon leaving the very busy location that night I had moved over to the left to allow another couple to pass by and unfortunately a tea pots handle was sticking out and it had fallen and broke, I immediately apologized and began picking it up all the while an associate said oh no, no worries I will take care of that and begun sweeping the smaller pieces up, mind you I had already picked up 3 larger pieces and laid them on the back counter where the other associate was. I apologized again and as we slowly made our way to the exit while continueing to look around a young lady yells across the store and says "Sir, your gonna have to pay for that!" One it was unprofessional as it had been a good 5 after it broke, Two I was told it was ok and that they would take care of it, Three why would you wait 5 minutes later as we are leaving to yell across the entire store infront of many customer and say something like that. Rude! I slowly made my way back to the back counter, mind you watching my every step to make sure I didn\'t break something else that may have been hanging off the shelves in the crowded store. Pulled my credit card out to pay, standing there I told the young lady I apologize I thought she said she would take care of it as it was an accident and she said "No, you have to pay for it or my boss will fire me". I was taken back again and said wow, doesn't your store carrying insurance for this kind of thing? She just looked at me and said "no". As I paid I was never offered the broken pot and on top of she charged me full price $44.73! for an accident, a small broken tea pot with a cost of maybe $10 at the most...I can not believe this is your store policy and how your employees manage situations like this. It was an unavoidable accident as the store was crowded and we were simply moving aside to let another customer pass...I could understand paying for the cost of the item, especially had I been asked at the time of breakage but 5 minutes after the fact and in total embarassment of the entire store! Down right rude. Like I said I used to be a customer however this is probably the last time...I hope you can understand the unprofessional way that this was handled is unacceptable and should be corrected. $44.73 for a 10 minute visit...sick! read more

I visited All Fired Up today with my 5 year old twins and 7 month old. The entire store was almost completely empty. As soon as I walked in the door, the employee approached me and told me that I could not bring my stroller inside because "we get really busy and it will be in the way." I can understand if it were crowded, but at that time, most of the tables were empty. There was a place right next to my table, in the corner against the wall, where I could have parked the stroller with the baby in it. Even if the store was packed, it would have been out of the way in that spot. She informed me there were no high chairs either. If I did not have the Groupon I would have left right then. I stayed and had to juggle a 20 lb, bouncing 7 month old while trying to get paint and assist my two 5- year-olds with their projects. When we left an hour later, the place was still empty with lots of room for my stroller. I will never go there again. read more

I thought this would be a fun afternoon with my son who is 7. When I went in, I felt like I was bombarded with rules. Don't touch these, you can not grab paint until we talk, and you must see me before you do anything. I already felt like I was under a microscope within 3 min. of being their. The entire time the "MANAGER" was rude whenever my son or myself asked a question. Mind you, you are not allowed to do anything unless you ask them.The part that bothered me the most is that when I went to pick up my piece that my son had done, I arrived at 11:55 am and the store clerk actually proceeded to tell me that they do not start allowing pick ups until 12 noon. Really? Another rule to add to your already very long list. I did not feel comfortable here at all and I will never recommend this place to anyone. Not worth the drive or the price. I think they need to back off a little bit and allow customers to be "CREATIVE". Very unsatisfied :( read more

I have been to All Fired Up a few times. The first time I went the staff was unfriendly. I was hoping that they were having an off day. They made us feel like we were bothering them if we had a question. My daughter asked for help and they said they couldn't do the work for her, they can only give advice. I also asked if they could special order an item for me, they said they could and they would call me when it came in. Well, when I went to pick up my finished piece I asked about the order I placed and they said they had other orders before me. What I didn't undstand was why they had the item on the shelf to sell when they never called to let me know it had come in. The employees don't seem to care about the clients and seem irritated when you try to talk to them. I will NOT be back. There are other pottery places in town with friendly people that enjoy their job and assist you in having a great experience. read more

I had my little girls 7th birthday party at this establishment and we had the pleasure of Cyn, the manager, host the party. I am not sure how she became manager and she certainly does not have the proper personality for kids parties. I found her to be very short and rude with the kids and parents. She was very abrasive and intense; very OCD. Our party started out fine at first. It started going down hill when she felt the need to start giving dirty looks to adults and kids for speaking at the same time as she was addressing the group(. I am referring to a mom saying goodbye to her child and speaking to my wife briefly about pick up times.) I admit, it can be hard to address a group of people but....you step lightly; this is our party and we hired you. Btw, an extra child showed up late and she about had a breakdown. She was insisting we add an extra table for the one child. This would have meant moving the cake, presents, napkins, etc. She explained that there can ONLY be four people to a table. I finally intervened and told her it was okay...no worries. Next, she was rude to a customer and her child (separate from our party) for touching the chalkboard that they write Specials, etc on. ---She openly said to man and his son (adjacent to our party table) "I am sorry about this party, they will be gone soon". This was said to him because my son (3 yrs) innocently walked over to there table and smiled at his son. Please keep in mind, our party was so good. Nobody misbehaved. Nobody yelled, cried, etc. Every child sat down peacefully and painted. She commented at the end of the party about how good all the kids were. I would hate to see her behavior if she gets a party of misbehaving kids. read more
