She arranged to have it delivered between 12 and 2 PM the same day. Right on time at 12 o'clock, the delivery driver arrived with a semi-truck and forklift. He was incredibly professional and skillfully placed all five pallets of sod in convenient spots around my backyard, making it so easy for us to access and install. From start to finish, Pop's Nursery was professional, friendly, and efficient. They even called ahead to confirm delivery time, which I really appreciated. You don't find many places that operate this smoothly anymore--and their prices are very reasonable, too. Highly recommend!!

Checking out the Christmas lights every holiday season always brings me joy. A family home display…read morethat should not be missed is the Soflo Christmas house in Hollywood near the Seminole guitar hotel. The family who own the home moved there in 2001. Each year they added a bit more to their holiday decorations. In 2006 they purchased their first control box to synchronize the lights to music. The display grew and they have been featured in the Miami Herald, South Florida Sun Sentinel, and on television. The Soflo Christmas house is on a corner so it is decorated to the nines on two sides with 50 inflatables, decorations, Christmas trees, and 250,000 lights synchronized to music every 30 minutes on the half hour and hour. During part of the show the inflatables are deflated to better see the lights. Although the show is free, the family that runs it accepts donations for St. Vincent de Paul food for the poor. An honorable mention goes to the house directly across the street that has the spirit too with a ton of lights and a yard full of inflatables. Parking is a bit of a challenge as it's limited to the outer edge of the store. People double park on the side street, so if you've parked there your car would be blocked in. The store is located in a mixed use area. That being said, you'd think that the prices of their merchandise would reflect the needs of the community. Instead, prices were higher here than at any other Salvation Army we've ever been in. In fact, in some cases, prices were close to the full retail of new items. We did not buy anything here. And we would not recommend your going out of your way to come here.

Usually they would offer you a basket when you walk in, but I guess it was just too busy for that. We ended up buying body creams, body and hair sprays, car fragrances, pocket hand sanitizers, a car fragrance holder and home wall flower fragrances. The sales were great tonight. I had a 25% coupon in my email and I had the barcode ready at check out and I asked the woman if I could use it. She looked at me and was like what is that? She asked me was it my membership which I thought was weird because when I first gave her my basket to ring me up, she asked me if I had a phone number on file and I entered it. Never in my many years of shopping at Bath & Body Works did I ever have to scan anything for membership so I was puzzled at her question. I told her it was a coupon that she needed to scan. The cashier then took my phone and zoomed out to look at the email. I'm like it says you scan the barcode on your phone and I'm sure this wasn't the first time that a customer has used a coupon with a barcode on their phone. I found it quite invasive that she would grab my phone and zoom out to look at the email. Once she validated from reading my email that it was a legit coupon, she then scanned the coupon and must have scanned it a second time and told me that it says you can't use the coupon twice. I told her that she had already scanned it because the total had dropped from what it was before. I paid and was on my way. That experience rubbed me the wrong way. Nevertheless, I was still happy that I got a lot of stuff tonight at great prices with my coupon. The cashier could do better next time though.
