Excellent selection of new pull comics, which at some shops these days is hard to find. Back of the store is mostly comprised of longboxes on tables, with a large selection. Better longboxes are on the tables with some budget longboxes located on the floor. The good selection of toys and collectables just makes Comics World even more well-rounded. This might be the best kept secret in the southern Pennsylvania comic book shop scene and I would absolutely return here.

The store is quite large and has everything you could ask for when it comes to comics, graphic novels, manga, miniatures, trading card games, board games and a great selection of supplies. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. We had a question about one of the rare sealed Pokémon boxes from the base set and the person was extremely helpful in providing information and showing us the box. If you like comics or are just starting they are very friendly and willing to help. The really neat thing is that they offer a subscription service that you can manage online and just come in and pick up your comics. One of the best ways of you are looking to explore new comics or are not sure is to just ask and explain what you like, everyone is really able to provide recommendations and point you in some direction. Highly recommend and will definitely come back!

Upon entering, two staff greeted us warmly, and proceeded to offer a tour of the store. The owner has set up multiple interactive areas for customers: a general play area in the back with about 5 or 6 tables with chairs; a mouth-watering library of tabletop games; a consignment shelf where individual sellers can sell used games; a small snack stand; a couple of try-it-yourself stands for specific games; and a small aisle where you can buy the materials to make your own game. One of the staff generously offered to sit and play a game of our choosing with us from the lending library. We played Wingspan with him and admired that he had only played the game once before, he knew the rules really well and was a competitive match for us, who had played several times more than he had. A customer can pay 5 percent of the cost of the game in the library in order to borrow it for a week. Upon returning the game, the 5 percent payment can be used to deduct from cost to purchase the game, if you decide you want to buy it.
