John…read moreNorwood is good guy as this was the third consecutive year I called him for a quote (primarily due to budgetary cuts but also scope changes) and he was just as kind the third time as the first. He gave us his tint quality and percentage advice (which we took) as well as offered us a prompt quote afterward. His installer was a great part of his team, finishing ahead of schedule while doing outstanding work and was never in our way. Surprisingly, I even had a handful of compliments from our staff about his pleasant attitude. The tint looks great and I'd expect it will last many years given the great craftsmanship as well as the brand. Can you really go wrong with 3M? One thing to note: We had one issue after the install that John was willing to resolve immediately. This was the perfect opportunity for John to procrastinate or to leave us high and dry, etc., but he didn't. This level of customer service is what I hope/look for from every company but is very rare, as I'm sure you'd agree. We'll definitely do business again with Carolina Solar, but unfortunately, we don't need our windows tinted on a regular basis. So with that, I highly recommend with "2 enthusiastic thumbs up". With no old tint to remove, the installation was quick, and I was back on the road in about an hour. I didn't inspect it thoroughly before leaving--something I'll do next time--and later that day noticed a crease in the upper corner of the passenger-side windshield tint. I contacted Austin, sent a picture, and he apologized and told me to bring it back. Since I wouldn't be in Wilmington for two weeks, he assured me they would fix it when I returned. When I came back, they remembered me and my car and addressed the issue without hassle. They replaced the windshield tint, and it now looks great.
