Suddenly, I needed a reliable alternative and fast. I walked into the BevMo store on El Camino Real in Redwood City and explained my predicament to Store Manager Xavier. Without hesitation, he told me, "I'm here to help." Xavier guided me through the online ordering process, provided all the information I needed, and assured me the system was simple and efficient. He was absolutely right. After placing the order, I called to confirm it had been received. Xavier immediately located it and assured me that his team would have everything ready for pickup the following morning. But after trying the excellent concoction created by Don Pilar and his son, I realize there is a whole world of top-quality tequilas I have yet to be exposed to. I tried their Blanco and Anejo, and dare I say I was actually wanting to sip. This is an incredibly smooth tequila that makes you shudder to think you ever touched the firewater that is Jose Cuervo Gold. Don Pilar himself was on hand at our recent Mayan-End-Of-The-World themed event at Tequila Museo Mayahuel and they were a giant hit.
