However, I like to…read moreform my own opinion about people or their business to determine if there is any truth to perceptions others arrived at for Hoosier Lawn Pride. Based on my own personal experience with Hoosier Lawn Pride, I would not recommend them at all for these simple facts and believe the other negative reviews have some merit: 1.) Hoosier Lawn pride never provided an estimate as they indicated they would. 2.) Their mastery with being dishonest is unsettling. I asked the owner Patrick Morris of Hoosier Pride if he or his business has a 3B - Turf management license from Purdue and told me "Yes". When in fact he (Patrick Morris) does not and has never received this license. The actual license status for Hoosier Lawn Pride or it's agent(s) was provided and confirmed by an uninterested third party at the time this review. The lack of a license explains why he sub-contracts out traditional lawn services like applying fertilizer, which was different from the explanation he provided in a meeting on the topic. If this license information is incorrect then please list and provide your 3B - Turf Management license number, license issuance date, license expiration date, and or 3B - Turf Management certification number. 3.) Hoosier Lawn Pride sub-contracts a large percentage of their business to another company, which was not disclosed to me until the meeting. I do not believe in middle man operations and usually they do not favor the consumer in the event of an issue or seeking relief for an issue due to convoluted nature of the arrangement. Had this been disclosed or outlined on any listing that states his services offered. I would have never contacted him for an estimate. In closing, do your own research on Hoosier Lawn Pride, it's affiliates, agents, and or it's sub contractors to see if they are a good fit for your lawn prior to hiring them. I am glad that I did and wish that I did more research prior to arranging a meeting for a free estimate. However, you can only make an informed decision based on what is disclosed or what reviews are posted. In closing, based on my research, the other negative reviews for Hoosier Lawn Pride, failure to disclose information, and his (Patrick Morris) dishonesty it's a easy decision for me to avoid Hoosier Lawn Pride even without receiving an estimate.

It is more gaining sales then providing good customer service. We had a very disappointing experience with Weedman in Bloomington. We had canceled their service, yet they still came out and did work on our yard anyway. We asked them to not charge us, we took our bank information and they still charged us. To make matters worse, they turned away the mower we had already scheduled instead of asking us what we wanted done. Who do they think they are turning away someone else's hired mower without even asking us? The confusion started because we had two accounts under our address, and only one was canceled correctly. Instead of clarifying with us, they went ahead with unnecessary service. I understand it was confusion on both ends but they should have made it right as a business. At least take off a discount but no help at all and stopped returning my calls. When we contacted them about the mistake, Jenna was not helpful and insisted that we still pay for a service we specifically did not want. This kind of poor communication, lack of accountability, and refusal to work with customers after their own error is very frustrating. We expected professionalism but did not receive it. We will not be using Weedman again, and I recommend that anyone considering them be very cautious. Who do they think they are turning away someone else's hired mower without even asking us? That's exactly what Weedman in Bloomington did when they showed up after we had already canceled their service. Instead of checking with us, they sent our scheduled mower away and proceeded with work we did not want.
