My setup is unique compared to most because I have high tech equipment. The Smart City Reps, Joe and Chad, recognized this and told my wife they wanted to finalize everything with me to avoid negativity affecting my setup. When I got around to completing the switch in service. Joe and Chad were there within a day. They were prompt and easy to work with, just regular guys who liked helping people. There were a few physical modifications as well as technical changes that were necessary. They did so incredibly efficiently and quickly. Whether you're an HOA looking to make the change to fiber or if you're an individual who has an opportunity to make the switch, the service itself is great and reliable. On top of the technical value, the customer service is unparalleled. As stated, I received decent and acceptable customer support from my previous provider. However, Smart City, and especially Joe and Chad, managed to exceed an already acceptable level of customer service. I'm more than satisfied with Smart City, especially when factoring in Joe and Chad.

The office team, led by Kimberly as the main communicator, and Enrique jumping in with details, was FANTASTIC. The crew that came to the residence, led by Javian (sp?), did a fantastic job packing/loading things in a careful, but timely manner. They were in-and-out within about an hour and a half. C&F had provided a rough estimate based on the items I told them, without being able to visit the residence and look at the items in advance; so I had to to rely on the items being officially weighed once everything got back to their warehouse and hold tight on the final weight against the estimate. THANKFULLY, everything came in well underweight; and the team was very conscious of my budget -- The overestimate at the beginning helped a a lot in factoring in unknowns, but the team did their research. Once I paid the invoice of the official weight of items, it was shipped via a carrier, FedEx, and even they took over and made appropriate arrangements directly with me for delivery. I am writing this review now that all has been unpacked and inspected, and ALL items arrived in perfect condition. They packed *everything* diligently and with extreme care. As a bonus, the only plastic used was for shrink-wrapping all of my items together on the pallet. All packing materials in the boxes were paper/cardboard products (see photos). I recommend this office for all Orlando locals, no matter where you are shipping to!

Definitely a 5-star operation in my eyes, though I really did not have any prior experience with such a company/circumstance as this one before I contacted this company. I unfortunately had a broken window at my house due to something hitting it during a storm we'd had not long before that (August 2010) and needed the glass in the window frame replaced. I found this company listed on the Service Magic website and, seeing that it was perhaps open on a Saturday, phoned to see if someone could come by and replace the glass. I got in touch with the company's owner, who said he could be over to my house within half an hour. (Impressive, considering that the company is in Sanford and I live off Princeton Street.) I think he actually arrived in less than half an hour, which was surprising and welcomed. The glass cost $124.50 to fix, and I was charged $100 for him to come out on a Saturday (perhaps the company's not truly open on Saturdays, but he makes exceptions for emergencies ... not sure this was one, but I definitely needed the glass replaced), but the price was worth the repair and excellent customer service. The new glass was installed in probably 10 minutes or so, which was much less time than I was expecting. Also, the owner was very courteous and friendly and asked that I post a review of his company/the experience on the Service Magic website. I did that and am now posting one on Yelp as well in the event that someone looks up this company on here or needs a good review for a repair job similar to the one I required. I would have posted this review much sooner, but I could not remember the company's name for the longest time ... until I went through some paperwork today and found the receipt for the repair. The password will mysteriously change and you will not be able to use your audible alarm again unless you pay them again for monitoring. I have the password written down and guess what. It changed remotely. Hmmmmmmmmmm He told me he could help me remotely if i paid them again. Hmmmmmmmmmm I had to pay for new panels when they did not last. Warranty expired. I would rather be robbed than use them again.

We some kind of electrical surge that occurred during a local storm and it caused our security system to go out. The panel smelled like something was ready to catch fire. Frank walked me through the process of finding the wall wart and explained that they were super booked out and if I needed immediate help it'd be best to talk to someone else. That being said the next day he went out of his way to show up with a replacement key for the security box so we could disconnect the battery. He was straight about what he could and couldn't do for us and went out of his way to provide services even though there wasn't necessarily any potential to invoice us. I did followup with some information about our problem after and I'm hoping to hire them to work on our security system repair as well as the home intercom/music system that was taken out in the same storm.
