They use respect, tough love, talk in a way teens can relate, tell the truth, and make sure the parents are involved in the process. They taught us how to communicate (and really listen) as parents & son. After a few tough weeks, my son looked forward to group sessions. He trusted his counselors and so did I. Therapy is never easy & clean. It's hard work. What matters is the end result. Aspire counselors truly care about people. I can't say enough good things about our experience and the bond we made with the counselors. My son is absolutely thriving, out of his dark place and we're all hopeful and excited about the future. It's been 3 years since we went to Aspire and we all talk openly and fondly about that timeframe. My son is even considering a career in counseling because of Jesse and John and the other impactful counselors who helped us. If you need help, Aspire is a definite, viable solution. It's a long hard road working on yourself with lots of challenges to change your perspective of a situation to decrease anxiety and build a new narrative. Moving forward taking baby steps while getting support from the Aspire Staff. There is no pill or quick fix just you and your new "tool box". I am grateful to have them in my life.

I completed a program at All in Solutions in Simi Valley Ca…read more Detox is pure hell. You can't update your family for several days. They treat you like a prisoner. They lured me out to California, from Maryland. Told me they would cover my travel BOTH ways. Come to find out, about 24 hours into the program .. if you want to go home on their dime, you must complete the program. I was told I would have my own room. I did not. They ripped me off of a sleep med that I had been on for 15 years... never once abusing, and they threw me into a room with a stranger. Im AUDADHD, I have severe mental illness. Some linked to trauma over things that happened to me in my sleep. *speaking of, they took me off stimulates. They are a controlled substance, dont ya know. Doesn't matter that I have been on them since I was 6 years old. No taper. Hard withdrawal. I went to the emergency room bc of it. So there I am, stuck in California... no promise of a good night's rest. I have several chronic illnesses. They completely ignored the fact that getting enough sleep is the only way I can function and learn. You have to go to 6-8 hours of class 5 days a week . Again, chronically ill. I have not maintained a 35 hour work week in over 10 years. No accommodations were made for me. Despite going all the way to Debbie (manager of program). I suffered through the program, came home..... absolutely zero follow-up. Absolutely zero direction as to what comes next. Im sure this program works for some. But if you have mental illness or other chronic illness... Search elsewhere I ended up going to the psych ward to get my meds straightened back out. Oh and I still dont drink alcohol. Which is why I was there. But I do not give that credit to AIS. Thats all me.

Reid is the absolute best! We've been in speech therapy for…read moreseven years across many different settings and with several therapists, but no one compares to Reid! My son looked forward to seeing her every week. She made every session fun with games, her great sense of humor, and the warmth she brought to each appointment. We also worked with her for myofunctional therapy, and it was incredible to see my son's progress with his "R" sound over the months as she helped him build tongue strength and improve posture. We made huge strides in reducing his mouth breathing, and she guided us with care and expertise through a frenectomy he ultimately needed. In just eight months with Reid, my son made more progress than he had in seven years with other therapists. I can't recommend her highly enough--there's no doubt anyone who works with her will love her just as much as we do!

I knew that therapy would help improve my eating and breathing habits, but I didn't realize how much I needed it until Reid diagnosed me with mild myofunctional dysfunction. I had been using the wrong muscles to chew and swallow without even knowing it. Reid is incredibly kind, professional, and thorough. My tongue posture and strength have improved so much, and I've developed healthier oral habits that have made a real difference in my daily life. The weekly exercises have also been super fun and engaging, which has made sticking with the program easy. I'm truly grateful for her guidance and highly recommend her!

I went to Genesis PT before and after surgery - a total of 14 months...mostly worked with Justin, but I also saw Josh...along with the multiple aides for exercises, ultrasound and therapeutic massage (Jackie). The whole team at Genesis run by Dr. Ray Camacho is top notch - I got to know them pretty well, and the entire place is run like a well-oiled machine when it comes to good and effective care, professionalism, and expertise. The front office staff was always on top of requesting insurance approval at the right intervals so that my care always continued with no interruptions - the receptionist always made sure to remind me that I could set up more appts, as she kept careful track of when my next/last appts were scheduled. SMART, kind, friendly and good people work here! Best of all, I have full range of motion back with no pain. It was a long, difficult road to recovery, but I know this team made at the difference in my healing process (after switching from two other Simi PT businesses that I was dissatisfied with). I had emergency back surgery and when released from the hospital they sent me here. The staff here are top notch quality people. They are caring and attentive to all my needs as well as the other patients. I witnessed such genuine caring for all their patients. It is also very clean. I was very nervous about coming and it has been a true blessing.
