In addition, they test our pool water on a nearly weekly basis in the summer. We have dealt with many of their staff and have always been impressed, especially with Cory. There is no substitute for experience when maintaining a pool, and Vally Pool has been doing this for decades. It is a family run business. Since it was closer, I used Leslie's on University Avenue in West Des Moines a few times, and it was a disaster. Leslie's was always trying to sell us something, and the staff was never consistent. Finally, I took the same water sample to Leslie's and Valley Pool. Leslie's tried to sell me several hundred dollars' worth of chemicals, while Cory at Valley Pool said to give the pool a few days, and do a retest. We didn't add (or buy) any chemicals, and a few days later the water was fine. My vote of confidence is based on 15+ years of working with this company.
