Some of the folks at All Island are incredibly knowledge and offer fantastic recommendations. They've turned me on to Maine Brewing Co amongst others great breweries. They always have my favorites in stock in and if they don't they get it special the very next day! Great selection of craft beer. The prices were very good too. Though they did not have a favorite of mine, Dogfish Head 120 Min IPA at the time, they had a great alternative, Dogfish Head Worldwide Stout. Both are 18% ABV and regularly go for $10-14$ per bottle, they had it for $7.99. I also found in general the beer was bout 10-20% less than other places. A small growler selection. A great selection of the usual Miller and Heineken everyday beer and also a nice selection of non alcoholic drinks such as sodas Service was great!! I was always being asked if I needed help, despite a super busy early Saturday afternoon. Some beer was even recommended to me based on the ones i bought. I definitely recommend this place. They screwed up my order not once but three separate ways and then they have the nerve to leave a nasty message on my cell phone. When I called them back how interesting that the person that left the message was gone and when I asked to speak to the delivery boy to verify my story and show how they were repeatedly wrong he was also gone. They have terrible customer service and terrible attitude. How dare you call any customer and leave a nasty message on their VM you are a disgusting excuse for an individual. My neighborhood beer distributor. Has done the trick for me the past 11 years. I like it for the convenience and for the vast selection. It's like being a kid in a candy store. When the season hits, they have the Abita Strawberry which is one of my fiancés favorite beers. Took my buddy here, who just graduated beer school, and he left very happy with his selections - and it was tough to narrow down. Not sure what else to say, beer school graduate selection approved, parking right in front, helpful staff - what more do you need from a beer store? I won't be going back until September, but doesn't mean you shouldn't. read more

Large selection of beers and good prices on most stuff. I just wish the store were a little more organized. They get Other Half and other hard-to-get beers, but I've noticed that the Other Half sits around for months at a time. At $8-9 per can, the least they could do is keep it in the refrigerator rather than having it sit on a rack near the entrance. read more

Rude management and poor customer service. Purchased a keg midday for a party at night, tapped the keg at 10pm by a barback (so it was done correctly). The keg was all foam and no beer. Was absolutely disgusting and I had to go out and get cans for the rest of the night. Bright the keg back for my deposit and to see if I can get any money back because nothing was drank out of the keg and the manager said "why wouldn't you call us when it was foam" and I said because I tapped it at 10 pm when you guys were closed and his response was "who taps a keg at 10pm". My guests didn't arrive until 10:30, why am I tapping a keg and letting it sit at 7 pm. Didn't get my money back and was left disgusted. read more

The parking (if that's what you can call it) is very very small and hard to maneuver when people pull in like they've had a few too many already. The staff are very helpful and courteous. Great beer selection, some rarities, and they've cleaned the place up. They have an impressive selection of bombers and their prices are within reason. With the exception of some hard to find limited release beers they keep the prices on par with their competitors. They'll fill your growler with a rotating selection of beers, though I've yet to take mine there. I would assume they keep the tap lines clean based on my experiences with this store. If you're planning a BBQ they'll fill your propane tank too. read more

Great place to get beer, Lotto or your propane tank refilled. They have many varieties of beer and even have growlers of craft brews refrigerated on tap. I recently asked if they had Lowenbrau in stock? They said it was now made in Germany with the original recipe and they would get a couple of cases on their next beer shipment. Can't wait to stop this Friday for some. They always have specials and the beer is reasonably priced, the guys are always helpful and carry your stuff to the car without asking. I can not believe the way All Island Beverage in bellmore on Merrick road is managed. I have shopped there countless times and was just treated like trash. I called to place an order for delivery for a 6 pack and manager said he would not deliver just a 6 pack. I told him thats fine but just for his knowledge I was told before there is no minimum purchase for delivery. He responded by telling me there is not a minimum but he will not deliver just a 6 pack. So what exactly is their policy? The kicker was he told me I was lazy! When I asked his name he hung up on me! I called back and asked again for his name and he said he does not have to tell me and hung up. I'm not mad that they wouldn't deliver a 6 pack. I am angry because in the same breathe the manager contradicted his own policy, and then began to call his customer names. read more

Let me start off by saying I love this to store and most of the staff. There is a cranky old guy in a baseball cap there somedays, but I deal with him. They have a great selection of beer, and if they don't have it they will get it in for you. My problem with them lately has been how unorganized the store has been. They recently expanded the retail part of the store to accommodate the growing craft beer market. But that expanded space is unorganized and filthy. They have the bottle return area within inches of product. It seems all that new space is just used for can soda and pallets of water, if that was the plan why not keep that space part of the warehouse?? They have a ton of craft beer but no organization as to how it is displayed. The aisles are crowded and have cases all over the floor. Most stores have beer separated by region or even beer type, here it feels like they just toss stuff on a shelf wherever there is room and nothing has a price on it. If I ask for a beer form Oregon they have to search the store for it. So all in all I love this store and it's still my go to spot, but please get your store cleaned up! read more
