This is the 2nd time I needed restoration of my kitchen in a year due to water damage. Fortunately this time the damage wasn't as extensive, nonetheless the first number I dialed was AIR. As they did last year, they answered my call promptly, listened to my concerns, set up an appointment the very next day & arrived on time. From Amanda & Diana in the office, to Tommy & the mitigation crew, to Joe Fiorella & the kitchen construction crew, including Marius & Dimitri, I can't say enough good things. 5 stars is not sufficient for this top notch company & amazing staff. Needless to say I was extremely upset to have to endure having no working kitchen again so soon. The staff all put me at ease, kept me informed, helped me through the process of informing the insurance company, showed up on time, did excellent work & always left my home cleaner than they found it. As the holidays were drawing near & I was expecting company, the check from the insurance company still hadn't arrived. After many phone calls & an email, I was told it would be mailed out. Joe F decided to start the renovations without first getting the money, because he wanted my kitchen ready for my guests. He & his crew worked tirelessly & managed to put my kitchen back together the Friday before Christmas Eve, which happened to be the day my family was due to get here. Needless to say I was very appreciative of their hard work & perseverance. The crews were very mindful of my belongings & my home in general. We had a leak over the course of the winter in our summer house. All Island Restoration was the water mitigation specialist who coordinated with our insurance company to provide an immediate response to the issue. The work was quick, responsive and professional. The key advantage I found working with All Island was the turnkey solution where they provided all the services from initial water mitigation to cleanup and repair. Due to the uniqueness of our house and the proximity to water, we required a creative solution to ensure we would not have future problems. Our project manager Barry was excellent in diagnosing the issue and creating a plan that provided me great confidence and comfort that the issue would not be repeated. Barry and his team did everything they promised and left our house looking better than it looked before the damage. If you are looking for an estimate for competitive pricing,a second opinion or just your 1st estimate All Island will beat there price and there work. They take no shortcuts and do not skimp on materials! other contractors will nickel-and-dime for everything after there original estimate in the middle of a project. All island takes no shortcuts on labor or materials. Real easy company to work with from everybody in the office to the field site coordinator to the foreman down to the Laborers. This company is top notch! They always get back to you right away. Joe and all his crew like Tommy and his men are so professional, kind, and courteous. They really put my mind at ease after my water heater broke. Joe treated you as if you were the only client they had. He was on top of everything and checked up on the work constantly. Joe even had workers come back to do additional work. I was so impressed. Usually you don't expect much when it comes to things like this and this company is a delight to work with. I was happy with all the products they used from the flooring to the painting. Tommy's crew even put things on the street for me. Everyone was the nicest people to work with. Following this process you are referred to a Project Manager for the rebuild. I worked with mainly Alexis and she was the best!. She was empathetic which is so important in a time of the customers disarray of what happened. I recently had a flood in my basement and was lucky enough to have my insurance company send All Island Restoration to our rescue. With the recent storm and not non-stop rain some of the shingles on my garage roof came off as well as the roof on the L.R. and den. My garage protects a very enduring automobile and shingles also protected my newly renovated living room etc. not to mention my family and pets. Within 30 minutes or less after calling my Ins. Co. On a Sturday morning our basement flooded when the hot water heater burst. I called our insurance company who immediately contacted All Island Restoration for us. Within 15 minutes Tom from AIR called, said they were loading their truck and would be there within the hr. They showed up and immediately got to work, pulling out much of what got wet and installing fans and dehumidifiers. They returned Monday to remove the wet sheetrock and carpet. Had a dumpster delivered and came back to load it up. Tom along with his crew, Larry, Rich and Jessie could not have been nicer. They were polite, hard working and respectful of all our belongings. I had a flood in my basement on Christmas Eve. All Island was there within hours with all the equiptment to dry the basement out. They boxed everythign methodically, cleaned thoroughly and explained every aspect of the process. When we had to rebuild, they were my first call. The workers arrived early and ready to work.
