Very Unsatisfied about Tent Rental for Bridal Shower I am outraged and so disappointed that the 20x 30 tent that we rented from All Island Tents, which did cost a good amount of money, had small holes all over the place, especially on the very top of the tent ceiling, so our guests were getting showered, as were the tables, chairs & ground! We had to get up on ladders to try to tape up all the holes which was dangerous & unacceptable for the money we paid‼ Will never use again or recommend to anyone! Angry in Westbury!! read more

Called a week in advance of an event. Tables were delivered @ the exact time requested. The workers unloaded everything and were respectful. Following the function, the same workers came and removed the tables @ the time we requested. We were very happy w the service, quality of the product and price. read more

To whomever was answering the phone on 6/30/23, learn to behave in a professional manner when dealing with clientele. The woman was extremely rude, curt, and had a very nasty attitude over a matter that was a mistake on both parties end. However, that did not warrant the way she spoke to either myself or my relative, especially when we never raised our voices at her. Completely understandable why the contract needed to be cancelled but there is a better way to speak to people. Even our older relatives were taken aback at her nasty tone. The hours on the website clearly show business is open on Saturdays even though she told us that office is closed and no deliveries are being made. If you have separate holiday hours then clearly state that when people are inquiring about your services. It was very much in poor taste the way she decided to handle everything. read more

Let's start with the absolutely horrific customer service over the phone. The woman or man who answered sounded absolutely annoyed to be answering the phone. And not once but every single time I would call. Then let's talk about the fact they don't take credit cards...cash only. Any biz who is cash only isn't insured, licensed or legit. Then let's talk about delivery...I specifically asked them to not come between 2-3...guess what time they came? 2-3!!! And that was after I had to continuously call back to find out what day and time they were coming. Now let's wrap up with the pickup. First they said the day after my Thanksgiving party they would pick up the table and chairs and now I'm told could be today, tomorrow, maybe next week. Just leave it outside. If I could give 0 stars I would. This company is absolutely horrible!!! Stay away, never ever again! Update: it's Sunday and still no pickup. Table and chairs are still outside my house. Used these guys b/c there were the cheapest, only to find out there was a good reason for that. Upon installation, their driver backed up his box truck right into my basketball hoop, shattering it. Not only did the driver not tell anyone at the house (I saw through a security camera), but he also had no issue taking the cash that was left of him to settle the bill. The owner came back (about 3 weeks later) to replace the hoop. They did that, but left broken glass all over my driveway. I have two little kids so this is unacceptable. Its very simple.. stuff happens on jobs. The mark of a good business is how they handle it from there. The tent did remain standing, so I guess that's good. read more

I called for a quote and they sent someone to my house to measure for tents. They sent me the quote and I approved willing to pay the deposit for the rental. Before providing the deposit I asked for a Certificate of Insurance and they told me they are not longer interested in the job. They also demanded cash for the payment and told me they don't accept credit cards or checks. BEWARE! They don't carry insurance and seem to be scammers. You should always ask for COI before any contractor does work at your home especially installing tents that are not permanent. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! read more

I was on a budget but I wanted to throw my wife a bridal shower that would be memorable. I went front restaurant to restaurant and every place I went to just was not fitting my budget. Then I called all island tents, they were able to put a package together that fit my budget. Every one had a great time, the tent was amazing and the owners were more than willing to accommodate my needs. They turned my backyard into an elaborate banquet hall at a fraction of the cost. I look forward to doing business with them again in the near future. read more

I ordered tables and chairs for a party I was told they would set up tables and chairs, they did not . The tables were supposed to be plastic and they were wood and looked 50 years old, wood chips and damage to them. The chairs were supposed to be padded and they were not . I called after the party for pick up the lady that answered the phone had an attitude because I called on her cell phone she asked me how did i get this number and I told her you called me from this number the other day and she stated this is my cell not the business phone. We used All Island Tents in the past so they were our first choice for our summer party this year. We booked tables, chairs and a tent. We tried to down size the tent as we felt it would be too big for our size yard, but they could not accommodate the smaller size. When I requested to cancel the tent and just use the tables and chairs I was charged a penalty (no other company even requested a deposit). Rules are rules I guess, however, the woman who answered the phone was out right rude to me. I spoke with the same person more than once and honestly her lack of customer service skills was alarming! The younger girls were very kind and professional, but this particular "woman" was so rude. My tables arrived and were in horrible condition. The wood surfaces were all splintered with raised wood splinters! They were also dirty with caked on food! I was so disappointed and will never use or recommend All Island again. (just a note: many companies now use plastic or heavy resin tables which I now know is a much better option). read more

If you are looking for a cheap price this is the place for you, but don't expect customer service to be apart of the order. I needed to change the date of my party due to the weather. I called and they said they could move my order to the next date which was great. What was not great is when I received no confirmation call before the party. When I called the company a women rudely picked up and told me that I didn't get a call because they don't have my order. I called 3 other times after I was told someone would look into it and BINGO rude short convo's about they are still looking into it. Finally they said they would be here to drop off the tables and chairs. I was told different times and they didn't arrive until late afternoon before the day before the party. When I gave them the money they asked they called me back to tell me I gave them the wrong amount, I explained I gave a deposit and plus the balance. "Oh Ok" no apologizes or anything. I guess I am lucky I finally got a callback. I was told they were picking the chairs and tables up on Monday and they didn't come until Tuesday. Again when I called more lies. Customer service sucks the chairs suck and the tables might be from 1950. The tables have rusted metal on the outside and previously chewed gum all over them (thank goodness I didn't have to pay extra). At the end of the day the cheap price isn't worth the hassle. It is pretty clear this women is running this business for a court ordered community service assignment. read more
