The one star is because they came the day before to setup the tent. Other than that I was so disappointed with the tables & chairs given. It was all dirty rusty and still had old tape on them. The tent was dirty with the liner holding puddles of water that still easily seeped through. On top of that we got 2 broken chairs. The owner said he could replace those chairs but at that point why do I need more dirty rusty chairs. I had to pay my decorator extra money last minute to get chair covers. Also owner claimed the tables were 60inches but they're not. We had to go to Walmart and buy 70inches table cloth to hide the ugliness of the tables. Obviously this owner is profiting from the business and not using that money back to get cleaner better tents. Owner was made aware about my dissatisfaction and he gave me a text msg of excuses that I could care less about as I think these pictures speak for themselves and for the money spent I wanted better quality. I don't understand why we have to leave a any stars to leave a review. I will however leave 1 star because delivery was on time. Let's get to the point. The tent was wrinkled, the chairs were dirty, broken, rusty and had decorations on them from God knows when. Could not use the tables because the plastic rim was busted. Basically a hazard. Spent the day removing whoever's decorations, and washing the chairs and tables and , basically playing "process of elimination" with the rusty broken chairs. At that point we had enough. Called to complain. They came back, replaced two 2 when it should have been 3 and, left the broken ones. -_- On Pick up day, the workers were backing up there truck in my drive way, crushing and using all kinda profanity. Worst company ever. They should be ashamed of themselves. I rented a tent, 5 tables and 45 chairs. The tables and chairs were filthy. I was covering the tables so I was not so concerned about them as I was the chairs. It would have been a total embarrassment for me if I used the chairs the way the were. I called them and they said they would come in the morning to replace the chairs. They came, brought in 20 clean chairs, went back to the truck for what I thought was to bring in the rest, but no, they just drove away. I called him, but he would not pick up the phone. I was left with 25 disgusting chairs that I had to clean 2 hours before my party. They are a disgrace and should not be in business. I rented from this place twice for events in my backyard. The first time was for my son's first birthday party last year. They called to let us know what day and time they coming to set up in which they came and set up the day before his party and the tents and chairs were in perfect condition. No problems! The second time was for my baby shower this past Saturday and I was not too pleased with the service! 1. I put in for the rental 3 weeks prior to my baby shower and they never called to give an estimated time window. So I had to call them because I thought they forgot about me. When I called they gave me the estimated time window in which they arrived on time. 2. When my husband, parents and I opened the chairs, half of them turned out to be dirty and rusty. We had to clean them down to the best of our ability. Which took time away from other things we had to do before the time of my baby shower. It was a good thing none of my guests said anything about the chairs but I did call the place and complained about it and they were nice enough to give a refund for the dirty and rusty chairs. 3. I had to call again on Monday to find out when they were picking up the chairs since I was never given an estimated time for that. I was told they would come on that same Monday between 10am and 12 noon for pick up. They did not show up until 1p. Not happy with this kind of service at all! I don't think I will be using them ever again nor will I recommend them to anyone! read more

Terrible company! If I could give negative stars I would. The owner gave me a lousy reimbursement for dirty chairs , tables that were broken as well. Also the tents were not white ! They were cream and brown with tape on the roof. Under no circumstance should you rent from here. I spent the night before my party cleaning chairs and tables . AN AMAZING COMPANY! Mike's Party Rentals saved my sister's baby shower! I had previously booked a tent package with another company and they completely screwed me over and told me the night before they weren't coming. I called Mike's Party Rentals at 3:00pm the night before my event and they were extremely willing to help me out in any way possible. They were able to set me up with an amazing tent package for over $100 less than the other company I had booked. They were able to deliver and set up the entire backyard within 2 HOURS! I will absolutely use this company in the future and I would recommend their services to anyone who is looking for a RELIABLE, TRUSTWORTHY, ACCOMMODATING, and STREE-FREE party equipment rental company! read more

I should have read the reviews!!! The folks at this establishment were nice enough on the phone. It was a better price than most so I thought nothing of it. This is where the good part ends! To begin with the guys we're supposed to arrive for set up between 1030 and 1130. 1 o'clock there were no guys and no phone calls! I finally contacted them and the woman on the phone was very helpful, but they really should have called. OK, I can forgive that. They said they were running behind. All right, it happens. They started setting everything up and I noticed that the tent was in very poor shape: lopsided, torn, discolored, just old looking. The three guys setting up were friendly enough and I gave them a pitcher of lemonade. When they were done, I noticed the chairs were stacked on the table. I handed them a $20 bill as a tip and asked them if they could set up the chairs. They said they were told not to do that because people don't like the way they them up. All right, I wasn't going to complain but I figured after you give them a nice tip they would do the right thing and set up the chairs. Still, I wasn't going to hold this against them. I mean, if this was their marching orders, I was going to respect that. However, what happened next is what threw me over the top. I went inside and my daughter whose graduation party it was came to inspect! Lol! Well, she came storming, screaming how disgusting and rusted all the chairs were! The tables had holes in them and some of them were even taped together. After calming her down and looking them over, I had to admit she was right. I went inside to call the company, but never got a response even till this day. Now, I understand why they didn't want to set up the chairs. It all made sense. Probably had I seen it that day, I would have sent them away and that is why they won't set up chairs! Of course, we covered the tables with table cloths and spent time wiping down the chairs with warm water and bleach which really didn't help much. Took the focus off of the tent by the beautiful decorations. Oh, forgot to mention that the banquet table was lopsided(had to put a brick underneath to get it level) and the globe lights were filthy. I took loads of pictures and would post them all, but want to give the company the opportunity to make it right. read more

The equipment looks like it's either 10 years old or left outside in a hurricane. The refund offered is paltry. They are cheep but be warned the tents are as well. I got a 20x60 and it was just under 800 with 100 tables and chairs. Great price, right? Yea, but they gave me two tents (1 - 20x20, 1 - 20x40) and they were TWO DIFFERENT COLORS!!(Yellow/beige & White) I mean seriously, WTF?? This was for an engagement party, which was communicated to them, and looked so ugly and unprofessional that I was embarrassed to host the party. Who even does that without even telling the client beforehand? Also, on a separate note: It is difficult when communicating with them. It seems one person answers the phone and another answers the email. Very annoying when you talk with one person, then another and neither know what the other told you. read more

terrible service he promised to set up the tent one day before my party but he did not show up.we called him many times he did not pick up phone and on the day of party we were clueless what to do,because he was not picking up phone so i decided to go to his business address shown on his website.i got another surprise there is no business at that address shown, that's a residential address. i thought we were scamed.i started alternate arrangement , went to home depot and buy some chairs. then he showed up in the middle of my party setting up tent in the presence of all my guests. the tables and chairs were disgustingly dirty. i think that was his plan like if he showed up a day before then i would have asked him to do a power wash for all the chairs and tables. i will never recommend this guy to anybody the people who have already booked a service with him should ask an alternate phone number in case he did not pick up again so you guys don't have to go through what we had to . read more

I thought they were great! Everyone that I had contact with was courteous and helpful. It was a great price for the tent, chairs, tables and lights. They came on the expected date, a few hours early too, and set up all the tables as well. It poured on the day of my party and the tent saved the day! Then they came back within the expected time frame to take the tent down. I would give them 5 stars, but I have to let you know that I had a graduation party. If it was for a wedding or a formal affair you should find out if they have an upgrade and pay a little more for newer equipment as the tables and chairs looked a bit worn. In any case, I will definitely be calling them again for future parties. read more
