We had been getting quotes and researching of company's that installed fences. We look into the typical Home Depot, Lowes fencing but they were outrageous with their pricing and the quality of fence was not the greatest. We came across All Jersey Fence and called them up for an estimate etc. They were very professional and very communicative and understood what I needed and my budget. At first we wanted a certain amount of fencing to be installed (removing our old one of course), we also asked for the removal of the remaining fence we had up which was old and wood. The quote was great so we went with them. When they started, they had the one side of my house which originally was 35ft that was originally going to be replaced, taken down in less than 1hr and ready to start on the installation, as they were installing we decided to keep adding to that side so they continued the run, the left side of my fence was a bit tricky do to having an old tree that is basically dead in between the run of the fence, they were able to cut to it and it looks great! When then added a few more feet of fencing to finish off our back yard and we are extremely happy with the job, it took a total of 3 days only because my right side of the house had a lot of work but the third day was really 1/2 day to do the final touches which were the gate doors and a 3ft piece on the side of the house. The installers paid attention to detail and made sure that the fence was both plumb and level. It made a huge difference to our home and we couldn't be happier! Ed really helped us get the project started, Charlie, which I believe is the owner, was excellent and wanted to make sure I got what I needed and was happy with the job, and Mary at the office was a pleasure to speak to with the paper work etc. They made sure they took all the old fencing down and that the back yard was left clean. Final update: So after nearly two months, we finally have our fence and we're happy with it. BUT, that involved multiple phone calls and asking the owner of the company to send people back to complete the work. After my last update, they finally came to install the gates, and the two workers wanted me to sign off on the work. When I went to inspect the gates, I realized they did not install a latch to keep the gate from blowing and slamming shut, NOR did they drill new holes in the ground for the ground latches. After much insistence that I will not be signing anything nor giving them a check, they dug up an USED latch and nailed it to the side of my fence so my left gate can be secured while it is open. By this point, I was flustered and overwhelmed because I had to get on the phone with the company for the two guys to even do this. After I gave them my check was when I realized they didn't install the ground latch like they should have. More phone calls, including an "appointment" where the guy almost didn't show up, and finally the gate was completed as per agreement two months later than promised. Every time I spoke with someone on the company on the phone, they were nice... but I wouldn't mind trading their niceness for efficiently completed work. Final tips: If you choose to contract with this company.... 1. Do not be in a rush to have your job completed. It will take longer than their estimate. 2. DO be on premises when they come to do the work. Inspect all the work. Have a checklist if you need to so you can review it to make sure everything is completed as per contract. read more

Very unreliable. First it took them 3 weeks to give me an estimate which I accepted right away. Then they promised to fix the fence before Thanksgiving and never showed. I called for an estimate got a 3:00 apt. Had to leave work early and they never showed or called. I called at 5 and left a message wondering what was up maybe I had missed something. They called the next day 3:30 the estimate guy had to cover at an install because of a sick call or something. I get it I work retail. So I proceeded to reschedule. They wanted 12pm or 3 pm I couldn't I work and was not going to be able to ask to leave early again. I was available at 4:15 still plenty of time before the sunset. Not a usual time for them she was going to ask the boss who was on a call and get back to me in 5 minutes. I'm still waiting. What a horrible way to conduct business. This was a $8000-$9000 job good for them that they don't need the work. read more

With no one to give me a referral for a good company to get a fence installed, I went to the internet to find one. I called about 7 companies, only 5 actually came out, and only 3 came back with an estimate. One was illegible and never gave us a clear copy, one was high, and the other was All-American. I liked the Estimator, Ed, who seemed very knowledgeable and he wrote out a detailed proposal. The price was about the same as one company and lower than the third, so we went with them. Great service! Our gate snapped off at the hinges during a bad storm (because the gate never properly closed.) Another company gave us an estimate of $1250 because he felt the post needed to be replaced in addition to the gate. This was the second company that we called. Augie came a day early because he wanted someone to be home to explain his findings. He said the posts were fine, the hinges could be reused and he could take the gate with him to be repaired...for $250! Found it very difficult to choose fence company as prices were all over the place and nobody picked up the phone. I found out a lot of guys run it as a secondary business and use lots of subcontractors. All Jersey Fence answered the phone( Mary ) and sent out knowledgeable salesman. Foreman came out to go over job with me the morning of job as I was also heading to work. Two day job that came out great with zero problems. My neighbors are even thanking me because it looks so good. The crew they sent led by Enrique were excellent and left my yard spotless.
