Update: we just used Solutions again to complete the fencing around our yard, add a pool gate and screen to hide pool equipment. Everything turned out great! My original review stands, use Antonio for all of your fencing needs!

Antonio re-finished my neighbors fence made it look like a brand new gate! Good as new

Tony fixed a fence that my horse had kicked through several times. He did a fantastic job. The stall looks brand new!

I have a studio apartment with an alcove, and wanted three sliding doors that could stack against the outer "wingwall" and then be pulled across the alcove to close off the space. My walls are white, and I wanted them to blend in, so I chose Sierra White with gloss white inserts. They are solid, and very well made, and truly add a beautiful architectural element to my apartment. In NYC, it's often hard to find a contractor to do minor renovations, so I was very happy that Raydoor has an "inhouse" contractor that can do the work, and that the contractor brought the doors right into to my apartment. Some sliding door places only have curbside delivery, which doesn't work for NYC. In NYC, you must get a permit from the Dept of Buildings for sliding doors as well as approval from co-op boards, so that made the entire process longer and more expensive, but Lila said I didn't need to sign the contract until I had the permit and approval in place. I really appreciated that. The installation of the doors themselves took 2 days. I'm so happy with my apartment now. And it's now considered a junior one bedroom, rather than a studio apartment, so for resell I imagine it will easily offset the cost of the doors.

After a long search for a solution to add a bedroom wall to my Manhattan apartment, I came across…read moreRaydoor products. Right when I saw the sliding wall systems I was interested because I loved the idea of having an elegant wall that would maintain the quality of the space, but that was also be able to become open for parties/gatherings. The flexibility is awesome. Raydoor did an excellent job from the very first interaction after I filled out their online form, to the completion of the project and working with their recommended contractor for the installation. Lila from Raydoor was great to work with and really made the entire process very easy and stress-free. The custom door system was completed and ready for installation in exactly the original timeframe they gave, and everything was correct, looks good, and has worked perfectly. After looking at a lot of possible solutions for my bedroom wall (including completely custom built stuff similar to Raydoor products), Raydoor offered the sweet spot of a customizable system at a fair price that doesn't take tons of planning/time/effort/coordination to get installed and built. That's a problem I was running into with other options. I'd certainly buy a Raydoor product again. I've had my sliding wall system for about a year, and so far it's held up great. Looking forward to getting many more years of use out of it and the value it's added to my apartment.

When I walked in the store was empty, the service was friendly, and they were able to help me immediately. I got about 10 keys duplicated and the worker did it quickly and on the spot. Went to have keys duplicated for my brother's new apartment…read more At Home Depot they told me that they don't do "Medico" or "Corbin Russwin," keys. They suggested I go to the locksmith at 7th Avenue near 22nd Street. Went there. The person at the counter attempted to make the keys. The person asked me if the "Medico" key is for an elevator saying something to the effect that their blanks are not exactly like the Medico key I handed them. But they made the keys and I went to see if the keys worked at my brother's apartment. The ones for the deadbolt lock did not. Next day went back to SOS Locksmith. There was a different person at the desk. I explained how I bought two copies of two different keys, and the "Medico" keys just do not fit into keyhole of the deadbolt lock. The person behind the desk said that the keys are all the same. No reason why they would not work, and furthermore, it is a cost to the shop to make another set of duplicate keys . (Wouldn't it be a cost to me to keep the keys even if they don't work?). I told the person behind the desk that if I could show to him that the duplicate keys do not work, I would, but would he come with me several blocks away to the building where the deadbolt lock is? He refused to listen and just insisted that the duplicate and original keys are all the same and asked me if I was sure I had the right keys, and was I sure whether I used the right amount of pressure in inserting the key in the keyhole? I replied that I tried everything I could but the duplicate keys do not go in the keyhole. I then said that maybe it is best not to take a chance, and to just refund my money because making other duplicates may mean that I would only have to come back, and it is an inconvenience to me since it is Saturday, the store is closed on Sunday and I would have to wait until Monday, and I do not live nearby. Even if I were to come back later in this very day it is also a hassle, but the person behind the desk did not listen and said that he is not arguing with me (he actually was) but only telling me how it is, and maybe one of his employees who made the keys the previous day might have made an error, but the store does not give refunds when keys fail once, a customer has to have the keys re-done and then if they fail a second time, then the customer can get a refund. So the person behind the desk made duplicate keys for me. I had to go back to the building in which I had to try the keys, and I actually took the precaution of using my cell phone to video-record myself trying to use the duplicate keys . The keys did not work. I called the store and told them that the duplicate keys did not work. The person over the phone who probably was a different person from the one at the desk I dealt with earlier, just said that the store is open until 6 PM. I had to go back out several blocks to the store. I had other things to do. It was a hot day, and I am past middle age, but no use waiting until Monday to do this. When I entered the store a different person was at the desk tending to customers. This other person was more cooperative in trying to be of help but I stated that I have a video on my cell phone showing how the duplicate keys did not work. The other person behind the desk said that there is no need to see the video and that he himself was not at the desk earlier, but he wants to resolve the issue. He asked me something about whether I tried the keys in 'this" building (meaning the building the store is part of). I told him that the building I had to try the keys in, is located at near 42nd Street . Then the person told me that the original "Medico" key actually is of a type that only the building management that gave it to me, can provide a duplicate of. My money was refunded. This is an abbreviated account. It seems to me that the person who kept telling me that the duplicate keys are all the same, was being hard headed and it actually does not matter if the keys "are all the same." It does not matter if the same machine was used to make them. It does not matter if a certain kind of blank is used to make duplicates for the original key. It seemed that the guy kept disparaging me and trying to make it seem as if I am some malcontent idiot who has absolutely nothing to do but waste my time and waste his time by coming into the store and just complain. The fact is that the duplicate keys, alike or not, did not work. No reason for me to make that up. I cannot say that I would recommend that others go to this place. I had read reviews on Google and Yelp! There are a good amount of positive reviews and I hoped I could be among those but it turned out otherwise. BY the way, I am notorious for giving bad reviews to businesses on Google, Yelp! Trustpilot and certain others. I also give good reviews where they are due.

But the job they did deserves recognition. Among the many people worth a shout-out: designer Chaya Uzan whose enthusiasm and ideas gave us a sense that our project was quite special; and Robbie Goldberg, our day-to-day contact and project manager, who brought a craftsman's eye to all aspects of the job. When problems were encountered, problems were fixed. An example: once we installed a new oven in the kitchen we realized that we would have to do without a favorite built-in spice cabinet. Robbie came up with ingenious fix requiring some custom carpentry so that the spice rack did not disappear but became an integral of the whole. Anthony, our renovation expert, was our first contact with A to Z. He encouraged us not to give up on what we wanted the project to look like even though other renovators had told us it was impossible to do. He also offered to answer any questions we might have along the way. Then there's Shevy, the permit and insurance coordinator. She dealt with the necessary paperwork and kept the inspectors at bay so we did not have to deal with those headaches. And last but not least, Mario, the site manager, who was there every day, hands-on, always professional and pleasant. On that note, the entire team seemed to like one another and treated us and each other with a refreshing degree of decency and consideration. To summarize: The team at ATOZ was thoroughly professional and kept us informed with clear, consistent communication every step of the way. Importantly, the team worked efficiently to stay on schedule and were fair when an unexpected issues arose, providing clear solutions. The final result is exceptional, and the quality of work exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend ATOZ to anyone.

I found this company here on yelp and was drawn in by all the positive reviews, believing it to be a reliable local person. Ken came to my home to provide a quote for my two-car garage. He is polite and very nice on the day of the quote. I did not get a second quote and went with him because my husband likes him. I confirmed the price via text message, along with the model number for the two-car garage. He answered me with "Correct". However, when installation day arrived, I was surprised to find out that the quoted price was actually for a one-car garage. I understand that miscommunications can happen, but it was disappointing to receive a different price on the day of installation, especially after having confirmed it in WRITING! Everything I said is the truth, I just don't feel the need to put up a screen shot of the text, you can use your own judgment. What made the situation frustrating was the lack of a genuine apology or acknowledgment of the mistake. If he had approached the situation explaining mis-read/ rushed reading the text message, I would understand. I urge anyone considering this company to be extremely diligent. Make sure to get all details and pricing in writing to avoid any confusion. It's unfortunate because I was drawn in by the positive reviews, but thankfully, I hadn't started the job yet.
