I do not recommend All Kids Dental based on our experience. They wanted to put our four-year-old under anesthesia and cap 13 teeth, which felt extremely aggressive for a child that young. The approach made us very uncomfortable, and the overall interaction came across as unprofessional. We decided to get a second opinion and took our child to a pediatric dentist in Falcon, and the difference was night and day. The dentist there took the time to explain everything thoroughly, gave us multiple treatment options, and ultimately determined that no capping was needed at all. They also offered an alternative, more holistic approach to treating cavities instead of immediately jumping to invasive procedures. The Falcon dentist also accepts CHP Plus, just like All Kids Dental, but the care, professionalism, and transparency were far superior. We felt respected as parents and confident in the treatment plan for our child. We have been going to All Kids Dental for a few years and I recently took my son here for his latest six month appointment and was told at his next appointment he needed to have X-rays due to cavities potentially starting. I thought it was odd since the last appointment we went to everything was fine. Thankfully I trusted my gut and got a second opinion from a different dentist down the hill, two weeks after my appointment at All Kids Dental. We were initially extremely impressed with this clinic and the dental team were fantastic with our son, however we had a dental emergency as our son fell and hit his mouth on a concrete step. After speaking with the dentist on a Friday and wanting us to be seen on Monday we did our best to make it through the weekend using pain medications. Our son broke one front tooth, the tooth was mostly gone and the root was exposed. He was absolutely in pain and other teeth were impacted, but not as badly. We called first thing Monday morning and nobody answered the phone however, we received a text message that we would get a return call soon. after no responses for over an hour, we went to another dentist. We left voicemails, sent multiple texts and never received a response. By the time we returned home, after a sedation procedure and having the damaged tooth pulled, we still had heard nothing. We called again and the excuse was that the power was out but someone was sending us text messages in the meantime. The receptionist stated those were automated, but literally on the website it states you can text them. I believe they were not being truthful as to why nobody contacted us. We were established patients and when our son needed emergency care, their team fell extremely short. I will never make the sacrifice in regard to my son's care again and you shouldn't make the mistake we did and take the chance of having it happen to you. read more

Speed of infection is much faster due to vulnerability of teeth which is why APA now advises dental care starting age 1. Although baby teeth fall out, the habits and health of baby teeth set the lifelong destiny of adult teeth. Overview: Teeth are spongy and porous, and the tooth nerves are closer to the surface - baby teeth have substantially less protection. Did you know not all plaque is the same? Some plaque types are more damaging, so if a parent has a propensity for cavities, it's more important to avoid sharing spit via utensils and cups. Lifelong plaque type is established by the time we are 2 years old. Brushing baby teeth at least once a day substantially lowers cavity risk, especially at night when saliva production lessens to protect teeth. Brushing twice a day is recommended. If baby still wakes during the night for breastfeeding, get baby used to falling asleep after a quick swab over teeth from a toothbrush by the bedside (can't say I've tried this one) Adult teeth form in the gums behind baby teeth, which is why infections or cavities in baby teeth affect the formation and health of adult teeth. Ideally offer meals and milk/juice at scheduled times; Grazing and frequent sipping increase cavity factors. No more than 1/4 cup of juice a day. The risk of cavities from juice is the same *even if you dilute the juice with water! Flossing begins around age 4 (when teeth are closer together). Just water to brush teeth until age 2 then only a tiny smear of toothpaste. 1 in 3 babies have a tether or low-lying skin underneath their upper lip and gum line between their two font teeth - this area is sensitive so take care to brush around it. If it ever rips it will bleed profusely so don't panic, apply pressure and wait for it to heal. I learned the optimal way to brush Sophia's teeth -it doesn't take any more time than I spend now but the technique will require Dad's help. "Painting" fluoride on baby's teeth every 6 months lower risk of cavities by HALF. For the fluoride-phobic: The younger the child, the less fluoride content is used. Non-pediatric dentists only receive 2 weeks of pediatric teeth and temperament training. Lastly - it's the most beautiful doctors' office I've ever been in. Recently moved to Evergreen and with 3 small children finding a good dentist was very important. Let me tell you they are AWESOME at Kids Dental. I have a 4, 8 and 12 yr olds and they loved it. They didn't want to leave if you can believe that They make sure your child is secure and comfortable and have zero fear. Don't listen to any of the negative reviews. I for one witnessed a lady who was very rude and demanding, she was ripping the staff for something that normally takes 2 days to complete and she wanted it done immediately. No way I would ever take my children back here. We normally take our 5 year old to our family dentist and he told us our son had 3 cavities that needed to be fixed. We took our son here for a consult and they told us he didn't have 3 cavities, he had 7. And that they didn't believe our son had the personality to do laughing gas and highly suggested anesthesia procedure. This all WOULD HAVE cost us about $6k (without insurance). Needless to say, we took our son back to our family dentist and they were able to fix his 3 cavities in 2 sessions with local numbing and our son did great, no fret and no tears. To top it off, the doctor here prescribed our son $40 fluoride toothpaste which I just learned from our dentist that it is dangerous to children (swallowing it). Needless to say, when you visit their location, it is wonderful and the kids love it, but they definitely try to squeeze every penny out of your pocket book. No thanks! read more

all kids dental gave us an estimate of what dental work was needed and what insurance app. would pay. the total bill was almost $1400.00. they gave us a print out of the insurance payout...roughly $850.00. a week later all kids or " all kidding" dental sent us a second bill. we were shocked. insurance covered a little over $100.00 because "all kids dental" never sent a pre-authorization for coverage or contacted them at all. when we called the receptionist was extremely caddy and short. i understand being off a little, but$750.00????? read more
