My elderly mom and her twin sister have extensive dentistry needs- Dr Zane and team at Evergreen Dental prioritized removing an abscessed tooth ensuring we didn't need emergency dental over the Christmas holidays. For the remaining dental work, everything was explained clearly, including from their finance team. I'm very impressed with the professionalism of my aunt's dentistry results - their other dentist needed to refer them out but Evergreen Dental can complete work in-house. Also, scheduling appointments and payments through insurance/ co-payment are easy and clearly explained. Dr. Nartker and her assistant Morgan recently replaced two damaged/poorly colored porcelain veneers for me. I am SO happy with the results! Dr. Nartker was incredibly particular in her efforts to select the best color for my replacements. Morgan made/fitted me with exceptionally well-crafted temporaries for the short wait until my new permanents were installed. Called the office at 9:15am complaining of a possible chipped crown/tooth with sensitivity. I got a 10am appt. The smiling technician took photos and x-rays immediately. Dr Gordon came in (made a joke about chewing on bones, LOL) diagnosed a chipped tooth next to an existing filling, explained the repair, answered my questions, presented me with an estimate of $463, did the repair, perfected my bite, and at 10:26am I was walking to check out. At check out, they explained that they overestimated the repair cost and charged me $331.50. Who does that? And in less than 30 minutes!! -patient for life read more

I was forced to schedule a last minute cleaning and exam due to a sensitive filling (usually hate going to any doctor or dental office) and was pleasantly surprised to be scheduled with a hygenist named Lacey who was extremely knowledgeable in holistic health and very aware of my concerns about bacteria and root canals etc. So very rare nowadays for people to think outside the box, and so refreshing to find a large provider office where people can speak freely and have the passion to help patients. I left with a list of helpful products to order and such a great experience with this provider. She understood my concerns and cared about me as a person rather than just another claim and billing codes. Definitely will keep using this office as long as this hygienist is employed there. The last time I encountered this level of knowledge was a dentist in BFE Louisiana, which definitely had its own following, and was educated by Dr. Weston Price's assistant...every exam became a learning experience for me. If I owned this practice I would definitely take advantage of employees like Lacey and market them. read more

Evergreen Dental Group has a pleasant group of doctors and technicians. and they do a good job of the usual dental functions such as cleaning, cavity filling, crowns and the like. But, they flunk dentures. My wife needed new dentures and so went to Evergreen Dental Group. The dentures they made never fit properly, especially the lower denture, which rocked from side to side and allowed food to get between the gums and the dentures - a very unpleasant experience. Repeated returns to EDG made no improvement. Finally, we made a trip to Denver to see the dentist that originally supplied her dentures and installed the stainless mounting studs in her lower jaw. He took one look and said, "Well, no wonder they rock and do not stay in place - the dentist who made them failed to install the retainers that hold them in place. For this reason, I give Evergreen Dental Group only a three star rating. They are fine if you do not go for dentures. read more

I started using this dentist office early in 2017 and it was a good dentist office. They were painless they were really attentive and they were on the ball about money now 2023. This outfit is a mess they can't get your money right we got a bill nine months later for $10,000, it was too late to even go back to the insurance company or anything else. Then I go back in after of solving this problem to get another problem solved where they put in an implant and it failed within a year and they charge me $1000 to remove it. I really don't know what's happening with this place but don't go there the office staff might be friendly, but they also do not know what they're doing so I'm sorry to Dr. Gordon and the other Dentists there but this place has gone to hell in a handbasket. I won't go there anymore and I wouldn't recommend anybody use them as a dentist it's a shame it used to be a great place read more

This was the best customer service experience I've had in years. Everyone from the receptionist to the dentist was friendly, cheerful, and personable. They were baking chocolate chip cookies as they heard that the smell could help with patient anxiety. Every patient chair has a tv screen where they play nature videos from Netflix. They gifted me with a fleece blanket for becoming a new customer. I got in on time and left on time. Really couldn't ask for more! read more

We have been going to Evergreen Dental every six months for 20+ years now. They are a great group of Dentists and Hygienists and always honest with their recommendations without being pushy. We were taking our kids to another "kids only" dentist here in Evergreen, but switched them here after getting a much less aggressive plan for our daughters teeth. They are great with kids. Today, they reminded me I needed to get a crown on my molar, said I'm in the medium to high risk for this tooth, but let me know I could wait a bit longer. This is the best dentist I have been to in my entire life. They really go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable from cleaning to major dental work. The fees are reasonable and not overly expensive. They have Netflix available on TVs mounted above the dental chairs with headphones to block out the drill. They have text reminders for appointments while is great if you have a busy schedule. I believe that everyone who works there truly cares about the patients from office staff, hygienists to doctors. My only complaint, The dentist seems to rush from patient to patient. It would be nice if he could spend a little more time chatting about dental concerns or double checking work but that's everywhere anymore. read more

The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is due to the niceness of the staff. The hygienist I went to for the last two years? Great. However the dentist' seem scammy. After my last cleaning, with full knowledge of a problem tooth I had, the dentist was focused on getting my teeth shaved to look smoother. Until he pointed this "issue" out, I was just fine with my unshaved teeth. Needless to say when the problem tooth fell out and rolled across the floor of the very nice restaurant, Root Down, I wished we would of discussed that tooth instead of my apparently aesthetically unappealing front teeth (I still look at my teeth in the mirror and try and figure out what's so bad). Fast forward, was talked into teeth whitening products for $99. They stung my gums and made them bleed. They were really sorry and recommended I stop using the product. Fast forward again...remember the tooth that fell out? Well the root was still there and after those that attended Dental college x-ray'd my teeth, I was told the root was rotten and had to come out before it rotted out the rest of my mouth. Made sense. Two or three painful shots later, the dentist dug around in my mouth and was pulling the "rotten" root out of my mouth and while doing so was causing my head to shake with each of his unsuccessful yanks. Low and behold, he said the root was not rotten and like the rest of my teeth was firmly planted in my head. He stitches me up and sends me on my way. Three hours later, I can feel the stitches hanging down into my mouth and my mouth is now bleeding excessively in my office. So I drive back up the mountain, get two or three more shots in my hurting raw mouth and he stitches me up again. He's super sorry and sends me on my way. Next day. My stitches are hanging out of my mouth (again) and my mouth is bleeding excessively (again). Over the next four days, the stitches became more and more undone, I had a string hanging out of my mouth and my now exposed hole in my mouth hurts badly. I get a bill for $355 and admittedly ignore it. I can pay it. I'm just not going to. Needless to say their very polite collection person (they really are nice there) called and I relayed what I just wrote here. She too is super sorry and went ahead and credited me $100 to make good before she sent me to collections. The moral of this story: Go to Denver for your dental care. read more

I have been coming to Evergreen Dental Group since 2002 when I moved to Evergreen. Our family loves it here and now when I go I tell people I am going to the "tooth spa" I love getting my teeth clean and feel great when I leave. I had a permanent retainer installed in 2006. In 2018 it needed to be replaced. I went to Evergreen Dental Group to have the work done. It took two attempts to correctly fit the wire and cement. Now, almost two years later, the permanent retainer has fallen out. Not to mention that they attempted to overcharge for the services performed by hundreds of dollars. I do not recommend this dentist. If you do choose to go, be sure to double check your bill and call and ask about every single charge. read more

Beware of this place as they love to pressure you into getting crowns you don't need. I was told I had a cavity on one of my front teeth and that the best option was to get a crown. When I asked why I wouldn't just get a filling they didn't give a great reply and continued to pressure me to get the crown. The dentist even said I needed to take care of this very soon as the cavity was near the root. Well, after trusting my gut feeling and getting a second opinion, there wasn't even a cavity there at all. Even though he showed it to me on their screen. In fact 2 other dentists verified there was no cavity. So, beware even though they show you your xrays and it appears there is a cavity, get a second opinion. Very sad way of doing business and further makes me distrust this profession. I'm thankful for the honesty of the other 2 dentists who said it was merely the shape of my tooth and not a cavity. read more

VERY IMPORTANT!! WARNING!! THEY HAVE BAD BOND AND IT CAUSED A BACTERIAL LEAK! After about five visits to this dentist for the same issue, I will never return or recommend. Dr.Fitzgerald used a bad bonding agent which has led to 4 botched cavities and multiple bacterial leaks. Many follow up appointments with dr. Fitzgerald and another dentist did not fix the botched cavities. One of the appointments, they drilled the teeth and that's it. Another appointment, they tried to remove only two out of the four and replace them. We went to grace and leedy dentistry down in Lakewood and the pictures and xrays revealed all this to the dentists and us. Now we have to spend more money (hundreds to thousands of dollars) to fix the mistake that evergreen dental group made and did not fix multiple times. I have lived in evergreen since 2010 and I used to go here when I was younger and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I remember nice dentists, assistants and a tv for me to watch with all the channels. My family and I switched dentists a couple years ago because evergreen dental group was too expensive. This is the only yelp review I've ever done because it is important to the health of the evergreen community!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My girlfriend went into evergreen dental group in the beginning of the year with a couple cavities. Immediately she thought something was wrong because they wanted to fix 4 cavities in an hour. After the first appointment, her teeth hurt even more than before. She went back to check on the fillings and the dentist said it was all fine. Another week went by and her teeth were still hurting so she went in again and they admitted they used a bad bonding agent and other clients were experiencing the same issue. After many follow up appointments at evergreen dental group the cavities were still not fixed. My girlfriend has a coworker who also went there and they severely messed up her root canal. This is not ok!!!!! I will be pursuing a refund and making sure they can't do this to anyone else. read more

When they tell you that they accept your insurance it doesn't necessarily mean they are in your network. After reassuring me we were covered, my $1200 bill arrived. Don't trust that their office will call and confirm your eligibility, even if they tell you that it's been taken care of. Yes...my fault in the end. I went there a while ago for a filling. They were very professional and friendly. They made sure I was comfortable and explained everything to me. The Doctor was very kind and nice and the hygienist was very helpful. They did the job very quickly. Nobody wants to sit on a dentist chair for longer than needed. I've been to a dentist that would talk for at least 45 minutes until she would even start working on my tooth. Never again. Go there. They are great. read more

Dr Sprout is an very, very good dentist. I had to have some crown work done, and I went in fully expecting a lot of discomfort from the process. I always had pain with all previous dentists. To my pleasant surprise, the numbing was barely noticeable. The removal of the old crown (by a different dentist) was also painless! Wow! On top of that, all the people in the office were super friendly and helpful. It feels like the neighborhood practice with all the charm and comfort associated with that. 10 Stars! read more

Dr. Sprout is an excellent dentist. I never had a bitter taste or a tinge of pain through my whole experience getting crowns on a bunch of teeth. He also called me the night of "surgery" and the day after to go over any concerns. Overall, I have been very impressed every time I go in. As a side note, I had this work done right before Christmas (of course they were closed). I had called into the emergency number provided (Dr. Scheroth) and I received a response within 30mins (on Christmas Eve) with all my issues mitigated by the end of the day. read more

Three bad experiences in the past year, but there are things to like. The setting is very pleasing; lots of slate and glass, expensive art work, soft rock playing at just the right volume. Many marketing goodies; bags of candy, cupcakes for your birthday, water bottles. The men are ruggedly handsome, the women young and pretty. First bad experience: The marketing promised a free the initial exam. I was required to pay $90. Second: My cousin, visiting from California, needed an emergency root canal. Evergreen Dental fitted her in and did the root canal. When she got back to California, her dentist there told her the root canal site was infected. Third: After the initial exam I was told I needed a crown replacement. After the work was done Delta Dental refused to pay, citing that the original crown was less than 5 years old. I fault the dental staff for not checking with my previous dentist or with Delta. read more

This place is all around sketchy. I've been going there for a couple years and every single time I'm there there's always something new that they need me to buy or pay for. I never really thought much into it until I went and got different opinions from different dentists and I had none of the issues that they were telling me I had. My final straw was that I just had a tooth extraction and it was one of the most unpleasant experiences of my life, the dentist and his assistant told me I should've been out of there within an hour, well I was there for over three. When I got out of the appointment the dentist office was closed and I got no instructions from my dentist or any further talk about what to do for my open wound, I went home and I've had some of the worst swelling and pain and the swelling completely shut up the right side of my face. I have been like this for four days, and still can't get an answer from any of their emergency lines, after reading the reviews I realize I am not the only person with an issue with this place. Went to this practice as a new patient!! At first glance, it all looks good because it seems they spend big bucks on marketing! This was the worst dental experience of my life by far. Firstly, they told me that they checked and I'm was due for bitewing X-rays, they had my X-rays from my previous dentist, this was a lie , the bitewings sent to them were within the year, to add insult to injury, the bitewings they took could not be used because they were so bad, they asked my new dentist if they would consider taking them again at their expense! I then saw the dentist , he seemed nice but never even tried looking in my mouth, he was focused on a treatment plan and when it was presented to me, the tooth numbers were incorrect , they added a tooth that had been treated and didn't need treatment, I have kept the copy of this treatment plan and would be happy to share! The hygienist didn't know how to use the nitrous and forgot to put the oxygen on, after 15-20 minutes she said I need to get going here, she eventually went and called someone who told her that the oxygen needs to be on and that was why it wasn't working , I had the most severe headache for 3 days after this appointment, I don't get headaches! I think I got lucky that she didn't do permanent damage, it is very dangerous to use nitrous unless you are trained! Lastly, they didn't want to acknowledge my insurance at all or they just don't know what they are doing. I called the office to discuss the bill, the person that I spoke to was so rude that I asked her to have the practice manager call me about the bill, needless to say, she never called! What a nightmare! Beware and stay away, there are wonderful dental practices in the mountains! Glad a found a new one! Hope this helps! read more

this dental office is phenomenal. the hygienists are personable and very thorough. i had gone to a different dentist and for two years had complained of discomfort with a certain tooth and no issue was found or remedied. i then chose to go to Evergreen Dental Group and Dr Sprout discovered that my tooth had a major crack by using their in-mouth camera technology He capped the tooth to prevent the break off that was about to occur. if my tooth had broken off i would have needed a root canal and dental implant- a very expensive procedure! i highly recommend this dental office, it is wonderful. read more
