Ashley and All My Pet Services AMPS have been our go-to pet sitters for going on three years and we have had nothing but positive experiences in that time. More than 10 occasions, including one where we were travelling in Europe for two full weeks. We have two geriatric pets (one dog, one cat) and they require more specific care due to age-related health issues. On top of that, our dog is socially reactive so we needed to find a professional who could administer medications as needed and also manage our Pup's grumpy personality. It is so hard to find a reputable pet sitting service that you can trust and feel comfortable allowing them access to your home and your children. I found AMPS through Google and Yelp and with both platforms boasting 5 star reviews for this company, there was no need to look any further. I was able to book my consultation online and Ashley arrived at our home as schedule. It was very easy talking to her and due to her experience, she was very familiar with the electronics that we use for our cats. Ashley took detailed notes and her services also included bringing in the mail, packages and even taking out our trash! We received daily photos and updates on our babies and we did not have any issues or concerns while we were away. We had challenges touching base, so I canceled the M&G until we could chat; I hadn't found a service that could meet needs or was a good fit (I still was gun-shy after previous nightmare experience). We caught up 24 hrs later, and she answered every paranoid question I had. She didn't turn me away, surprisingly. Yes, it's just dog walking, but I'm medically disabled and home-bound, so this person is important in our lives. Because of location, Ashley is my pups' walker. They LOVE her. She handles them with patience and quiet happiness whilst not letting the wee one get over on her (as small dogs tend to do). Ashley is punctual, respectful, and such a pleasure that my pups aren't the only ones to look forward to seeing her daily. Yet she manages not to let my talking get her off schedule :) Other: she offers a bath service! And my pups got the best baths of their doggy lives!! I wish I could give more than 5 Stars. AMPS is absolutely a god send. I have 2 geriatric 15yr old cats that are quite set in their ways. After being home for 2 years (remote work) with them they got too use to me being there 24/7. I needed to go on a trip to see family and was worried about how the cats would react. The first meeting went extremely well! They actually came out and checked the sitter, weren't spooked at all. (Which is not the norm) I was extremely relieved and knew I picked the right sitting service when all the right questions were asked. Details about their sleep, eating and play habits. Frequency of said habits. What to look for in normal vs abnormal behavior. Emergency contact numbers. Any medication needs etc. All the while taking notes. The icing on the cake was when the visits would happen I got photos of my goobers and updates as to their statuses. I know I'm an overprotective cat mom, but this sitter went above and beyond! I was gone for a week and it didn't even seem like they missed me! They definitely bonded and I couldn't be happier. Ashley is awesome! I first got in touch with Ashley back in 2016 when my normal dog sitter was on vacation and referred me to Ashley as a back up. She did such a great job, my husband and I made the transition permanent! Since 2016, she has taken care of our two dogs while we are away and we've never had one complaint. She always sends photos and a quick write up on how our pets are doing, along with check-in and check-out times. More recently, we got a new puppy and Ashley and her team mate Sinead have gone above and beyond. Even with last minute requests and cancellations (work and holiday plans changing) Ashley has been able to accommodate every request and Sinead is great at taking care of our pups. When looking for a dog walker, I care about 3 things. Are the responsive (most times Ashley responds within an hour or less), do they show up (never had a late or cancelled visit) and do my dogs seem happy when I get home (Meadow and Eva give two paws up!). I can't even begin to write a review that does justice to how much we love having Ashley take care of our pets. Some background: we've been using Ashley consistently for about a year now, most often to watch our semi high maintenance cat when we travel but she's also helped out with our dog as well (we usually board the dog when we're out of town). Our cat has a bit of separation anxiety and used to get really upset when we'd be out of town (messing up the house in all the ways cats can do that). Ever since we started hiring Ashley, he is totally fine! I know she makes a point to give him a ton of love and attention during her visits, and I really think thats whats made a difference. - She's incredibly easy to get in touch with, SUPER responsive, and never leaves us hanging - She is detail oriented! She always confirms any and all details so that I'm 100% sure we're on the same page i.e. which days she's coming, how many times to come, etc - She loves animals! You absolutely get a sense of how much Ashley truly loves animals via all interactions you have with her. I feel so much better leaving my pets in her care, knowing that she is really doing what she loves - She goes above and beyond without a second thought- whether its bringing in packages, or bringing in outdoor plants/setting the faucets to drip ahead of inclement weather, she's always one step ahead of the game - She sends pics of the pets on every visit! We have used AMPS for two long trips and they have been nothing but amazing each time! Ashley took such good care of our dog, Gus, and happily made accommodations for his weird personality quirks that makes boarding him in traditional settings difficult. I'm not sure where to begin. I cannot recommend Ashley enough. Our usual pet sitters did not have last minute availability, and so we scrambled to find someone to take care of our two cats and a bunny for a few days while we traveled. Traveling for us is usually stressful because our pets get anxious when we leave and we almost always come back to a mess -- vomit, bunny fur, etc. Ashley eased our worries from the moment we met her. She stopped by to meet our pets and take any notes about any special requests or quirks, something that stood out since most people think "cats and bunnies" and don't expect too much work outside of giving them some food and water. She was extremely friendly and professional and eased our worries about last minute travel. She thought of a lot of things that never crossed our minds, such as planning for contingencies in an emergency where we couldn't get home when we planned, and timing her visits so the pets never went 24 hours without a visit. While we were traveling we received photos, email updates, and time stamps from her visits. Not that we were concerned -- we were convinced of her professionalism when we met her -- but these were great reassurances that any pet-parent can appreciate when they are away from home. The best part was the extra attention she put towards everything she does. She spent time with our pets, including opening the pen for our bunny to roam and giving him fresh vegetables. She took the litter out (and even the trash bag!). We came home to a spotless house and happy pets, something that we aren't accustomed to when we leave home for a few days. We plan on using Ashley for all of our pet sitting needs in the future, and cannot recommend her enough. We were heading out of town for my friend's wedding and had been planning on using our go to pet sitter. As it turned out, she was actually going to be out of town for a portion of our trip as well, but as luck would have it, she said she had a backup in mind to cover those days--you guessed it, Ashley! I was hesitant at first, I mean when you get used to someone else caring for your pups, it's hard to imagine someone else taking over. I was nervous, but Ashley offered to come over before the trip to get to know me, my husband and the dogs. From the moment she walked in the doors and greeted our dogs, I knew she had this. Their reaction made me feel at east and quelled any fears I had. She was friendly and very interactive with our pups. She asked questions and allowed us to show her all their quirks and habits, and get a feel of everything. She made sure that all of our requests would be honored. During our trip she stayed in constant contact with us and gave us timely updates and shared some quite adorable photos of our pups. I could tell they were happy and comfortable. She was prompt with updates and never had any issues. She stayed on schedule and always made sure we knew how they were doing. Honestly, you can't ask for anything more. I wouldn't hesitate to use Ashley again in the future. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and her service is top notch! Ashely is so amazing. Human wise, she's super flexible - I've had a crazy year and she's always responsive and easy to coordinate with. Even my last minute chaos-year surprise-plans and change-of-plans were well received and accommodated. Knowing that my family would be taken care of in just a couple of texts seriously kept me sane. Pet wise, omg she is the best - She leaves notes, spends quality time giving them pets and playing with them, and texts/emails pictures every visit of each one (with great captions btw). The daily status updates and pics are so great. I've even texted when I was on a different continent and thought I missed a text: she responded immediately to reaffirm that everyone was doing good and when she was going to visit next! She knows how hard it is when we're away, and she's there not only for them, but for the humans too honestly; it doesn't feel like she's just checking them off a list - she takes time and shows them love. She really cares and knows how important her work is. One time *right before* a work trip my youngest cat learned how to open a closet door to get into a bag of treats. She ingested some plastic, threw up the plastic, and didn't eat for a day. The xrays didn't show any blockages but she needed to be monitored for the next week to make sure her throat continued to heal from probably-scratching it, and I was leaving in 2-3 days. I've been using Ashley for several years after a referral from a work colleague and I totally trust her with my little fur balls. She meets with you first to get to know the needs of your pets and to get them comfortable with her. Ashley and her staff do a great job with our 2 pups. We have used them on many occasions​ - often for longer vacations but sometimes for a day or weekend where we need someone to help us out. Each time they show up on schedule, spend real time playing with and giving our dogs attention. They help do a bit of cleaning up (from muddy dog paws or keeping the yard scooped) and taking dogs for a walk when they need to burn off energy/anxiety. One of our dogs is very nervous/anxious and they have been able to work with her despite her tendency to act out. Our other dog somehow got into chocolate powder (that we left in a bag and forgot, our fault not AMPS') while we were out of the state and Ashley was quick to call the vet, read them the ingredients​, do some tests for any health issues and spend extra time with our girl to make sure she was okay (she mostly just tore up the pack and didnt ingest enough to do harm!). I can't say enough good things about Ashley. Our kitty is super shy with strangers and Ashley worked tirelessly each visit to draw her out and gain her trust. It was amazing to see the progress being made daily (she texted and sent pics every day while we were on vacation) until our little one was actually coming out on her own instead of hiding in our closet. Unfortunately, pet sitters in the past have made little to no effort with our shy little girl and as a result, our kitty was quite lonely/frightened even though someone was in the house daily. We didn't know what to expect with using an at home pet sitting service, but it was beyond our expectations.
