Marble table split in half 120 lbs with their insurance will get me $6.00

I was sent one experienced mover and a young nice guy who knew nothing at all about packing. He wrapped a marble table top in one blanket loosely with tape then they both hooked it to the inside of the truck with one strap. The move was only 2 miles and the table top was broken in two pieces. The fee was huge for moving four items 2 miles $894.00 $150 of that was a gas fee plus $219 in travel time. Don't use this company if you want your items to get there in one piece. Cassie H.

Actual receipt. This was $280.75 higher than phone estimate. Beware of hidden charges.

Be warned! There are multiple hidden charges. Pick any moving company except this one. They will rip you off. A 6.7 mile trip under 2 hours to just haul a desk, freezer, and a few bicycles was almost $600. They slipped in an extra hour of transportation time. So, you'll see "labor" as $149 higher than whatever you were quoted on the phone. Then they used about 3 wraps of plastic wrap to hold on a packing blanket over the freezer. That cost me another $64.70, and they didn't even ask me if I wanted the plastic wrap. Then they charge a 15% gas fee on top of that which equated to another $67.05 on top of everything else. I kinda thought the $10/gallon of gas was an egregious move. However, the insult was how they calculate the gas. It's not actually by distance. They calculate the gas by the labor and packing materials charge. I should have dug in deeper to reviews. If you look into Google or Facebook reviews or their Facebook page, you'll get a better picture of this company. The general consensus is that they are a scam. I can support that claim. So, do yourself a favor and go anywhere here.

Post #3 since keyboard warrior wants to delete my post! Must be scared of public reviews! Again I wouldn't ever go threw this company for any assistance and I gave them respected information and then was told they don't cover debris when their driver is driving in a median! SMH!!! Windshield 409.99 Tint Visor:100.00 To whom it may concern, I was behind one of your moving trucks on Bridge west of hwy 85 when he was in the coming out of the 2nd round about at 239pm on 7-1-21 and he was in the lane that ended. I went to let him over however he sped up and almost hit the median and ended up throwing rocks into my windshield. I called the first number google pulled and was passed around to many different people and no one was willing to help me. One gentleman said he was talking my information down and was going to have the office responsible for that truck call me and never got a call back! I called again at approximately 430 asking questions and they told me the truck belonged to Boulder office and when I got in touch with them they said it wasn't. I have made several attempts to figure this out and no one cares to help! Here is the information I have on the truck! The truck was pink and small moving truck with ur company name on the side.... The back roll up door said BUC500 on the right side.... The driver looked like he was between the age of 22 to early 30s! Here is the information claims told me u would need to figure this out!

They hire clueless high school kids who don't know what they're doing. They dropped my mom's piano while moving it less than three miles--gave it a huge gash and broke the leg. I got an estimate for $670 to repair the damage inflicted, the moving company only paid me $240. While trying to file the claim the office avoided my calls for a month and never called me back. Still haven't received check for damages two months after filing the claim. WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. They are not capable of handling precious items carefully and offer peanuts for the damage they cause.

TLDR: Extensive damage to property, unfair compensation for damages, lack of communication from back office team. Over the phone, the team was great and I felt like I found amazing movers. The moving crew was nice and professional. We bought everyone lunch & even gifted one of the movers a digital camera we weren't using after he mentioned he had always wanted a similar model. Unfortunately from here things started to go wrong and we were left completely unsupported by the All My Sons team from this point. As the last items were being brought in, we noticed damage to armchairs and our couch which had been accidentally scuffed with grease in several places. The team's iPad on-site was not working, so the completion of final paperwork had to be done over the phone. I asked for the damage claim information which I was told would be sent immediately (it wasn't, and required additional follow up). In total, several additional items were damaged. Damages included grease marks/scuffs on armchairs and an expensive couch, a broken planter, and most upsettingly a shattered brand new $1400 TV (which was packaged by the All My Sons team). We get it, these things happen -- however, we trusted that the company would take care of these damages appropriately. 30 days later, we received an offer of $450 as remediation for the aforementioned damages. That doesn't cover the cost of a professional couch cleaning, let alone the brand new TV which is rendered completely unusable and had to be replaced outright. The team made it clear that the actual legal liability of the company is a mere $0.60 PER POUND. This was obviously not pointed out to us in the paperwork, which totaled several pages/signatures that were required on-site, on the clock, and prior to the team starting (despite the clock running for their time). The team also noted that we did not elect to purchase additional insurance. To my knowledge, we weren't given the option to purchase insurance. The team's iPad was broken and so some of the signatures had to be completed over the phone. I did not receive a copy of the paperwork as promised. Ideally this information would have been sent in advance, or explained in more detail. The damage policy was not explained or we would have never agreed to this. Since reporting the damage on 8/15, I have made over 8 email follows up and received minimal contact back with absolutely no assistance or interest finding a suitable solution here. Overall our experience has been extremely frustrating and turned a great experience sour quickly. Absolutely no responsibility was taken by the back office team to rectify costly damages to our property that we trusted would be taken care of. Use a different company for your move and don't be swindled by this unfair damage policy like we were.

We moved on Saturday 4/27/2024 from a condo to a house and had a terrible experience using All My Sons Denver. Below is a recap of everything that went wrong. Damage to property: Perhaps most frustrating of all is that I was left with a HUGE scrape in my wood floor that spanned the length of my entire condo. They moved the grill from the outside patio across the condo and neglected to pick it up. When I finally saw it, the guy pushing the grill ignored me. When I finally got the lead guy's attention, he attempted to submit a claim on the spot but his iPad wasn't working. He assured me he would tell the office at the end of the day to get the claim process started, but I had to call the next day to initiate the process. Claim process/customer care: I filed a claim for the damage and it got denied immediately. When I called to ask why, the customer care associate told me I was a liar and the scrape existed before the move. Joe Casarez was rude, disrespectful, and hung up on me. I called back to the Denver office to get some help, and they insist they cannot help me in any way. Every time I get transferred to customer care now, no one picks up and every single voicemail inbox is full. It has been a month now and I feel helpless. Hidden fees/lack of transparency: When it came time to pay my bill, it was about DOUBLE what I had expected. They never sent me a list of the cost of packing materials before the move date like they said they would, and the materials were astronomical (over $350) for limited supplies actually used as we had packed the majority of our condo ourselves ahead of time. By the time the move date was nearing, we couldn't adjust to another company last minute and were stuck with whatever they were going to charge, but I didn't think we would get royally screwed with these kinds of premiums. Further, they charge a "19% fuel surcharge." I assumed this was 19% on the gasoline used by the truck and it was never explained to me. Shame on me for not asking for a formal definition of something that felt pretty self explanatory. It turns out that the "fuel surcharge" is in fact a 19% fee on labor and materials. I feel this particular charge is incredibly misleading and hence, I feel scammed on this one especially. Speed/efficiency: Of the team of 3 men helping, the lead was working at a reasonable pace but the other two could not possibly be slower. They would disappear for lengths of time and would spend a significant amount of time idle, standing around waiting for the lead to tell them what to do next. When every 15 minutes is costing me $52, I was getting more and more frustrated by this as the day went on. Idle time: When the crew arrived, they started the clock immediately and yet nothing was actually moved for a good 15 minutes. Further, the lead went through all of the "pre-move" paperwork with me while I was being charged for move time. Once the truck was packed, the team of 3 all sat in the truck for ~10 minutes collectively waiting for the "window to defrost". Once again, they did not work as a team, nor did they work efficiently. Two of the three men did nothing for about 20 minutes from the last item they picked up to leaving in the truck. Not adjusting for appropriate labor hours: When you get to the place you are moving to, they estimate the additional time it will take to unload the truck and you pay then. After, they are supposed to "true-up" the time actually spent. In my case, they did not adjust the true time of departure and therefore they were not going to refund me the time I paid for but did not use. I had to call the next day and clarify the time they left and asked for a refund. The person I spoke with was hostile towards me and told me the men were "reconfiguring the truck" before they left - for 25 minutes?! It was the ultimate souring blow to such an awful experience.

The larger companies tended to outsource work to other small movers that had terrible reviews or thin histories, and the risk of unknown players employing random hirelings was not worth a marginally lower price. Our piece of mind in knowing that a single crew would be accountable for the entire job was crucial. It was great for us to build a rapport with one team who both picked up our whole house and delivered it to in Vegas. We had lots of vintage furniture and art, and we knew we needed some extra help to ensure that items were carefully wrapped, stacked, and packed onto the truck. Everything showed up intact, nothing broken, and the extra care that came with knowing the team allowed us to get a great value for our money - particularly when it came time to unload into our new home. They showed up 5 hours late, yelled at me that I gave them a bad quote and refused to do my move which ended up costing me THOUSANDS. And spoiler, another company did the job in the time I was originally quoted by these people and for half the price. As a woman moving alone, these movers made me incredibly uncomfortable in the short time they were in my home. I called and got a quote over the phone. This was not unusual to me as I've only ever gotten phone quotes for moving and have never had issues in the past. I was quoted 2.5-3 hours with 3 movers. I called 5 other companies in the area and received similar quotes, I chose this company due to their availability. I scheduled my move for 4 days before I needed to be out of my place. They were scheduled to arrive between 12-3pm. At 3pm, I was told their morning job was taking much longer than anticipated but they should arrive within the hour. At 4pm I received a text from the team letting me know they were an HOUR AND A HALF away and would be stopping for food on their way. I contacted the "manager" and was assured they would be able to complete my move that day. The team showed up at 5:30pm, 5.5 hours late and I have never had movers be more disrespectful and demeaning toward me. My home was clean, fully boxed, and ready to be loaded. For $210/hour I was not about to waste time. They walked through my home to assess everything and Tyler, who is supposedly the best they have, was rude and disrespectful every step of the way. He yelled at me that there was no way they could do the move in the time quoted. Given that their morning job took 4-5 hours longer than anticipated, whoever is quoting jobs clearly doesn't know what they're doing. I was alone and the way their team treated me in my home made me incredibly uncomfortable, they yelled at me that I wasted their time, they drove to Fort Collins from Denver and their cars were in a storage unit in Denver that closed at 9pm. Even if they completed the job in the minimum quoted time, they still wouldn't have made it back to Denver in time to collect their vehicles so I don't see how that was my problem but he sure made it my problem. Tyler told me the move would take a team of 4 movers at least 7 hours to complete. To be clear, this was a two bedroom townhome, not a 5 bedroom house. As I was about to throw them out of my home for being so demeaning and disrespectful, they offered to step out and call their manager. At 6pm I received a call from the manager who told me the team claimed there were 150 boxes in my home and they would not be doing the move. When I argued that was absolutely not the case (i counted and there were 56 boxes, 6 large, 15 medium, 25 small, and 10 plastic tubs) I was told he didn't know who to believe...um excuse me?!? He offered to reschedule for another day at more than DOUBLE my initial quote. After the experience his "best guy" had to offer, there was no way I would ever agree to pay them even my original quote let alone $1800?! I told him this was unacceptable and explained the financial impact, all I got was "sorry, we wish you the best of luck with your move" after wasting 6 hours of my time and costing me thousands. This was a huge waste of my time and costly. I deliberately scheduled the move on my day off with several days after to do final small things and clean before handing over keys. A new tenant was scheduled to move in shortly after. Because of this company's laziness and incompetence, I had to pay an additional month rent and the next tenant's move was also impacted. I am truly beside myself at what a horrible experience this was. Now for the kicker - I hired another company to do my move the following week. I hired two movers and anticipated an 8 hour move due to what I was told by this team. I was genuinely afraid to do the walkthrough given what happened with moving brothers. I explained what happened and the new quote I was given and the new movers laughed. They said this team took too long at their job in the morning, ate and sat in the truck for an hour, and when they showed up they were tired or lazy and simply didn't want to do the job. They said the 7 hour quote was an FU to me since they drove up to Fort Collins. It took the new movers FOUR HOURS TOTAL. And cost me less than moving brothers original quote including a 40% tip. NEVER give this company your business. They will leave you up a creek without a paddle without so much as an apology. I'm grateful they requested cash payment and didn't require a deposit as they will never get a penny from me. I will tell anyone and everyone I know to avoid this company!
