It started out with them asking me for tools. Three very mannerly, hard working young kids showed up however they were not experienced enough to handle the move. So they cracked my tile floor. They cracked the glass insert in my kitchen table. They didn't put my bed together correctly. They broke a twin bed box spring. They didn't get all the patio furniture. Still I wasn't going to complain however a TV also got broken. So now I need to go back to my house and finish moving the patio furniture they didn't get. I also have to figure out how to put my bed together properly. I need to replace my daughter's box spring. I need to fix a broken tile. I'm still not finished unpacking so hopefully I don't find something else. I could never ever recommend this company. I see the positive reviews and I believe them. What I saw was hard working young men who weren't experienced enough to know how to properly load the truck. Disassemble furniture and reassemble it. Having tools might have helped them. It was just a local move and I had tools at the new place but some damage was already done which I didn't realize as it was happening. They needed a more experienced person to act as the supervisor. Knowing that the company didn't think about that makes me feel badly for their workers. Personally I'm overwhelmed because this has added more work to my move and damaged at least 4 things. I've moved professionally at least 4 times in my life and never had a bad experience until this time. Used this service to move less than 5 miles away, most items already boxed and in garage. The crew sent minus one were hired that day, lacked motivation, professionalism, with one of them having a asthma attack and sat in truck instead of unloading it. Dented every appliance they touched, put holes in new home walls, and complained about other people being in home stating our movers aren't safe. Spoke to supervisor, employee took pictures of damages, and contacted company about getting compensation for it. Never got any response, no apology. I inquired on line for a small move of a few bulky items for my parents. When I got a call back, all the information was incorrect but I still moved forward. I was given a quote of the labor, moving time frame and service charges. I informed them I was not in the same city and would like to be called on when they were on their way as well as called for payment. I received an email confirming the order, but they had the incorrect day so I had to call back and get it corrected. The driver accidentally called me early this morning because he said he was mixed up with his orders. My mother called me AFTER the time frame given and I had to call them asking where they were. I asked why they didn't give a late courtesy call and he dismissed it as if it were my problem. The driver said he was on his way but didn't arrive until an hour later, ignoring the respect of my parents time. He also kept calling me to let me know they were on the way when instructed them to call my parents as well. They finally got to my parent's house, and then refused to unload to their new house because there was no payment. I was told payment would be given AFTER the job was completed. They had the nerve to asked my parents for payment, when I clearly stated I was responsible for paying. I called the "op manager", Ernesto and he refused to refund them their money, taking advantage of the elderly. I had to call back and demand their refund and finally got my card charged. I do not know yet if a refund was actually given to my parents yet. I was charged for 4-1/2 hours, based on an estimate given by Ernesto instead of exactly what time the 2 guys were actually working. My Dad is a veteran and my husband is an Airman in the USAF. No respect given to our veterans or elderly at all. I did try to contact their corporate customer care service all afternoon, but I was transferred and hung up on several times. So frustrated and disappointed on how much money I spent for a small job. I will never recommend this company to anyone. Of course I get a robotic apology that is so fake! Reading the other bad reviews here, this BAD business practice has been going on for years! The El Paso location recently moved us on a local move. I have to say, it was the absolute WORST moving experience I've ever had. My partner and I move every few years for work - including overseas relocation. Admittedly, I grew up with Moving and Storage as our family business for nearly 40 years and I learned to pack households and move furniture and worked in the warehouse and on the trucks from the time I was a kid until I finished college. But I make it a point to never hover, nor butt in. First, the supervisor came out to give the estimate and told us of their sparkling reputation - "nothing broken, scratched or dented." We were assured we were paying for first-rate packing and our home would have its walls, floors, et al wrapped and protected on both ends of the trip. That really would have been great - even a fraction of that would have been nice! They confirmed they were coming to pack the house, "we'll be there tomorrow morning." When asked for a time we were told they would confirm that later in the day - they did not. We sat, waiting and not knowing when they would show up - the same thing happened the next day for the actual move. When they arrived, they brought a nasty "chip on their shoulders," except for one - we have no idea what that was about. It was extremely hot, but they were working inside with air conditioning. We literally were treated like second-class citizens in our own home for the next four hours as they haphazardly threw, dropped and grudgingly put our belongings into boxes. I walked through and asked them not to pack specific things - they did anyway; sort of. The silverware and kitchen utensils were literally dumped into one box that was the wrong size, making it unnecessarily difficult to move. My partner's mom is a well-regarded artist who is currently working in glass - they set one of her pieces on top of the kitchen utensils; unwrapped; unmarked. Who puts any piece of glass in a box with metal objects - unwrapped? My partner and I have some valuable pieces of art - some more sentimental and monetarily; some mostly monetarily and there were several of these pieces left unwrapped and tossed into boxes of what ever was in the box. And I do mean whatever - the boxes were mostly unlabeled and the ones that were labeled were mostly mislabeled. Not one box was inventoried! Not one box was marked FRAGILE! I literally had to go through the new house and set boxes of books off of boxes of soft goods that were crumpling under the weight because they did not even know how to stack boxes! Seriously....? Our card had already been charged an initial fee and our stuff was "packed" so we chose to do our best to keep a better watch on things the next day and to make efforts to lift the weight of their bad attitudes, so they were met the next morning with fresh doughnuts and to their credit, two of the three who were unpleasant seemed downright helpful and polite. During the course of the day it became clear that the third was the person on the team who was bringing them down. More than once, they struggled to navigate certain pieces of furniture into the rooms they were going in - they spent nearly 15 minutes on one piece beating the crap out of walls, ceiling and door frame, until I asked them take the piece (a bookcase) back into the foyer where the ceiling was higher and set it back right-side up. I asked if they had an appliance dolly with a ratchet strap - they stared blankly at me. I ran to the garage and got a tie-down strap; strapped the bookcase to their dolly and we glided the bookcase down the hall and into place in about 3 minutes, without touching a wall, ceiling or door frame. I had to do the same with a daybed.... Thankfully, it was over in about 3 and half hours and several scratches, dents later. And I found myself even happier that I had done more than half the move myself, so that our most valuable belongings were not handled by this company. However, I have never paid so much to work so hard in my life - that was the point. Had I wanted to do the whole move myself, I would have. Instead, I ended up paying you top-dollar for bottom drawer work AND worked my ass off for free! read more

She said I would get another call later that day to confirm information and also another call a 1/2 hour before the unloaders arrived. Neither happened. When I called to find out about the 9:30 arrival, Arthur Myers already started with the attitude: "You can't expect the movers at that time..." - I cut him off, I told him yes I could expect that when that's what I booked and that's what the first caller confirmed. He tried to get cocky but I cut him off again and cancelled the service. I'm still waiting for them to refund my money. If I don't get it soon, I'll be filing a complain at the Office of the Attorney General, Consumer Complaints department prior to taking them to small claims court. This company is unorganized and they have lost more than half of my belongings. Items I have acquired throughout my military career! Unfortunately, I just found this out after having my items in storage. I am not understanding why my dining room table that had a set of four chairs, now has been reduced to two. the majority of my crystal I bought while in the military somehow had disappeared and apparently the basic fundamentals of moving regarding wrapping leather in plastic was unknown to this company. Therefore my leather couch is wrinkled and molded. The more I unpack the more I find how much I am missing, which is heartbreaking, and their record keeping is nonexistent, so getting assistance from them is frustrating so please save your money and choose a different company other than All My Sons at El Paso. I want to start this review with the fact that I have moved a lot. I am a military family, and have moved all over. I have never had such a horrible move or experience with an organization. It is a shame, because other All My Son branches are amazing, and so supportive and protective of your items. Arranging for the move was easy, and the administrator was lovely. The movers showed up on time, but were clearly in a hurry (they stated they had to get to the final destination - 12 hour drive- that night). They continued to drop things around the house, and talked the whole time about needing to be fast. I have pictures of furniture in the middle of the road with no one outside as they moved me out. They also dropped furniture down the stairs, breaking it, and damaging my walls. I was told they would replace this, and a manager would be calling me. I received no call, and even sent an email the day of the move out to try and see what needed to be done with no response. They did not wrap the furniture correctly, and complained their manager had not informed them of the type of move I had. They told me it would be thousands more to wrap it correctly (which was untrue). My move was clearly into a storage unit, and while I am sorry there was internal miscommunication, it should have been dealt with by the manager. When they did re-wrap my items, they did not cover whole pieces, and they taped directly on the furniture (happy to provide pictures). When they showed up in the other state, they dropped several items off of the truck, and then stacked the the two storage units in a way that caused more significant damage. Again, pictures of this can be provided to anyone who would like them. At first, the organization stated they would speak to the movers, and "of course pay for all damage". After weeks of unanswered emails where I sent pictures of both the storage units (untouched) and damaged items, I finally called. I did realize we are in a pandemic, as my husband is a Major and I am on a State Task Force for aid, I figured they were just busy. The man stated they would not cover the items, as I had removed them from the storage unit. When I asked how I was suppose to see the damage (including damage created by them taping my furniture) he said simply it was not their problem. Once it was removed from the unit they are not liable. This of course was not mentioned when I first spoke to them at the unit about damage and my concerns. I had mentioned that I could not see items until I un-stacked and unpacked the unit. I was told, "don't worry we will cover the damage", and "we will make this right". I was also told they would be sitting down with the team and talking to them, about what went wrong. I had mentioned I was working the pandemic response, and would take a few days to get through it all. The response I received was that they were sorry. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone had clearly seen my emails, pictures, and knew our previous conversations, but was clearly denying any liability. I asked about the piece dropped down the stairs, and what needed to be done to get that replaced. The man replied that he did not drop anything, and that they would not replace anything. I then asked again about the furniture dropped down the stairs, and he told me he would hang up on me. I asked to speak with someone else, and he said he would hang up on me. I again stated that the day of the move they dropped my furniture, and how would they be paying for that. I was told he was the owner with one other person, and I would get 60 cents a lb. for the damaged item. He stated that they would not cover anything else, and told me he was hanging up on me. I have moved 16 times, and never had such unprofessional workers. I have also never experienced so much damage. I have pictures to prove my statements, including pictures of the storage unit, where chairs are thrown on top of boxes. I have pictures of the movers in action. I have pictures of their movers with my items in the middle of the road. I have pictures of their movers with my damaged wall and furniture. I can say that paying the $1500 difference between this company and others in El Paso is well worth it. I will pay this simply in replacing the items they treated so poorly. read more

The movers were professional, responsive and did a wonderful job with our stuff. We did an in-town move and hired them to do the "heavy lifting" with our furniture and appliances. They might not be the cheapest in town but they were the best we've ever used and they will have all our future business. read more

Before I begin, the movers were nice. However moving from a 2 bedroom apartment ( I packed everything up in boxes, my husband and I took our bed apart, so we prepared everything for them) all the moving Men needed to do was move the stuff to their truck and get from one location to my new one,and to a storage unit that was 5 min away from my new location. When I called to schedule the move the seller was like "get 3 movers it will be faster and easier and only 10 dollars more " and me I was like " oh that true yes get me a third person" so the day of the move they were 30 min late ( I called they said they never do moves at that time , but I literally had all my notes about the move, the time, the prices) anyways they show up, and the third moving person was a girl!! ( don't get me wrong, if the girl can move furniture and be efficient as the other team members then yes! Girl power all the way! Except this wasn't what I got. I pretty much saw the two men doing most of the work, the girl was just looking around trying to see what she can do, one of the guys had to keep telling to go do this, or go do that. At one point I just saw her in the truck sitting down, while the men were still moving things, and again the guy had to tell her something. Then they charge to wrap your furniture (it's too protect it) it took these guys (notice how I said guys because the girl didn't do shit) about 5 hours and (900.00) to get it done. Wait it gets better!!! As I'm finally in my room, my night stand (that was wrapped for protection) was cracked. And since the movers left i could no longer report it. So note to self, keep them there so you can check your items and make sure they are not damaged, cracked or scraped. If you hire them make sure it's all men so or a women that won't be looking around or just sitting around, and might as well wrap your stuff, since that a charge as well. read more

Ok, first of all, I hired three movers for three hours and I paid $600 because there were a lot of fees that they didn't even informed enough before I made the contract like how much they would charge and how they would charge. They were not on time, took forever to get to my house, charged travel fee for the time being late and fual fee on the top of that. They are so unprofessional, I had to unload and load all over even though I rented biggest truck because they were loading so unprofessionally. Okay, so we were referred to All My Sins from another company. Scheduled an appointment for 5pm yesterday. Finally received a call at 5:30. When making the appointment I told the scheduler that I needed to be off the call by 6pm. Got a little attitude that I didn't want to continue the call. Especially when he said his last call was over an hour and a half. We rescheduled today at 10am. Of course they called late again. The agent starts his sales speech. You would think he's a timeshare sales person. He kept saying that they are the #1 company in the USA. When I told him he could cut the sales speel and get to the estimate I offended him and he quit the call. I didn't want to waste his time or mine. The reviews are right. Hired to move in May 2019, very unprofessional used my bedding to wrap my furniture. Piled all my belongings in storage did not use care and have several broken items. 2 movers 1 upstairs 1 downstairs; no way I could be in 2 places at the same time. They stole a PS4 gaming console, 2 control pads, a Madden game and iPod ear buds! $600 worth of items, called to file complaint played phone tag with the manager and main office for 2 weeks. I was told to file a police report and send in claim only to receive denial for lack of evidence. I didn't know I had to video record the entire move. They also charged me a lot more than was quoted! WORST MOVERS EVER! We scheduled these guys to pack our pods for a move across country. When I booked them I confirmed they had experience with pods and Arturo promised they'd secure our belongings as they go and that they had significant experience with it. Fast forward to moving day the guys arrived over two hours late without any notice. We had to repeatedly ask them to wrap our furniture and to secure/tie down our belongings in the pod. After they left, we went to lock our pods and saw that the movers simply draped one tie down over our belongings, not securing it to anything, and that the other 20 tie downs were not even used. We notified them but it did no good. As you can imagine, all of our belongings were destroyed once we opened our pods in our new location-boxes were crushed, boxes labeled "fragile" were smashed under boxes labeled "heavy", about 1/2 of our furniture wasn't even wrapped, we had a table laying on its side with a box of heavy stuff on top of the legs wish snapped them, the power cord for our tv was placed in the tv protector on the screen side...it was a nightmare and just plain negligent. When we called to speak with the manager (Arturo) he was rude, yelled at me, told me he was the only person I could talk to and that he was his own boss, told me I was wrong and that everything I had was made of particle board so that's why it broke (wrong). I'm sure if I was a man, Arturo would have been a little nicer and maybe would have stopped talking over me and yelling. Also, filing a claim with this company is a joke - they rejected it because they left the moving site even though they were well aware that the moving team didn't tie anything down or wrap our items the second they left. All my sons moving is the worst moving company in El Paso, TX. I hired them to help me move. First, they showed up a day after the agreed time. I requested the service for Friday, they never showed up. I called several times and spoke to Frank, the manager, who apologized and said they were busy, and had to reschedule. Then on Saturday, they showed up at 2 hours after the rescheduled time. They helped me move my boxes. When we arrived at the destination, they pulled the charge slip for $600. Three hundred dollars over the estimated charge. No only did they refused to take the boxes out of their truck until I paid. They stated that I needed to pay in advance for service time estimated to unload, and that whatever time was not used, they would refund. Then they did not refunded it. I am very angry and disgusted by their business practices, that I would NEVER recommend you to use them. They are a fraud. I wrote the Better Business Bureau. After that, Frank tried to offer to refund $200, if and only if, I retract my letter to the BBB, and would have to sign a non disclosure agreement. Which I declined. read more

They mentioned charging a little extra for the time it would take the truck to get out to me (I live in town) and the time it would take the truck to return after my move which I thought was a little irregular but thought, this might be worth it after that pitch. They sent over two employees, one was pretty competent, the other was standing around while I was being charged by the hour sizing things up and looking for the easier things to carry. His partner was working very efficiently, very good guy. Ironically I later learned that the lazy one was the more experienced one. He spent about 40 minutes trying to unhook the w/d then, when I saw him just standing there looking down at it I told him to switch places with his less experienced partner who was able to take care of it in less than 3 minutes. This same employee poorly estimated the weight he was able to carry and severely damaged 2 pieces of furniture valued at $700-900 each. Copanhagen, where I had purchased them graciously offered to transport and repair the furniture for just $243 dollars (both pieces, entertainment center and dresser) and even for that I am getting the run-around. It's been 5 weeks since my move and my claim has still not been resolved. Last I heard the person managing my claim was out of town and she would reach out in a few days. That was 2 weeks ago. Moved several times and always had a good experience until I hired this company. Stay away. There are cheaper, safer and more professional options out there. read more

Awful experience. I am a military spouse that did this move while my husband is deployed, I truly feel like All My Sons took total advantage of me. The movers showed up 1hr and 45mins late. One of them revealed later on that it was because the guy that was suppose to bring the packing paper got turned away from the gate because he had a warrant! This was alarming bc All My sons claims they do background checks on all their movers. When the movers did show up they lacked supplies, the packing paper and large wardrobe boxes even though during the two in home estimates we had done prior to our move we stressed we would need them to pack clothes!! They also were totally unaware that they would be packing our kitchen, again we had already told them this. The packers were very unprofessional and very slow(they charge hourly). I found two of them sitting down talking in my sons room twice! Half of our kitchen was packed without being properly wrapped B/c they didn't have enough paper. All of our goods were then moved into a storage unit, again they moved very slowly. After I received the bill I noticed it was about $300 more than the estimate that was given. I asked for an itemized invoice to be sent to me and the head mover assured me it would be emailed to me. Well that was Friday it is now Tuesday and no itemized invoice. I have called EVERYDAY since Friday requesting an invoice and have not received it. I have not heard back from the owner either, he is always "out on an estimate" when I ask to speak with him. They also overcharged me, they quoted me $149/ hr for a 4 men team and ended up charging me $169/hr. I made a security deposit to reserve the move day and there is no evidence they accounted for this in my final bill. I would not recommend this movie company to ANYONE at any location! Their corporate office has been less than helpful in resolving these issues. read more

Horrible experience, I let them go with stuff that got broken during the move. They told me they would fix, so I trusted them. Called several times to check status, they said they no longer had my property and never took it or replaced it. I tipped very well, and gave them several things to include furniture and 3 appliances free. Then was let down, not a trustworthy company. Wish I could give them a lower score. read more
