Our move was from El Paso to Washington state. We did our research and RJS seemed to have high…read moreratings. We supplied almost 30 blankets to help protect our belongings; they had tape and rope. We had 2-16' PODS, which was ample space for our things, we arrived in El Paso with 23' ABF trailer that still had space in it. The only additional items to this move were the washer/dryer. The packers looked around, then just randomly started putting things in the PODS. I have never seen such a crap show! In the end, we had to give away...1 floor lamp, our safe, the mirror to a dresser, our patio table, a desk, and a few small items. Our vehicles were already packed up. There was plenty of space in the PODS as I could see from the back to the front. But I was told not to worry, they are the professionals. (?) I asked them to make sure to wrap my curio as it was mostly glass. Oh, sorry we have to more blankets. I offered large cardboard sheets to place around it. Once our PODS arrived at our new home, the doors wouldn't open and the load had shifted that much to block it. The team of movers arrived to unload and had to take pictures before they began so to be sure not to be liable for any initial damage that they saw when the PODS were open. They also took pictures as they unpacked it. Yes, it was bad. The placed a table saw against my curio which scratched the finish in various places as the cardboard they used was just crammed in there. They used packing tape to hold doors and drawers closed which caused the finish to come off with the tape. All 6 of my dining room chairs have scratches and gouges, my daughters new bedroom set has scratches/gouges and chunks missing, my refrigerator had deep scratches, Plastic storage bags I used for bedding/blankets/etc. where ripped open- I thought they would use them for cushions, totes were piled so high they collapsed and fell over. The unloading company was in awe when they started and said they were sorry (for something they didn't do) this happened. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND RJS TO ANYONE. IF I HAD THE HELP ON MY OWN, I COULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB. WE HAVE MOVED ALOT AND I KNOW HOW IT GOES AND WHAT A GOOD JOB OF PACKING LOOKS LIKE. THIS WAS NOT IT. THEY SUCK!

While moving the "owner" kept saying "this would be a nice tip" or that "would be a nice tip". When it came to unloading they paid no attention where i wanted the stuff they just dropped it in the garage still saying "that would be a nice tip". Well they managed to take a few things with them back to El Paso that did not belong to them. When confronted they said "you watched us all the time". They were not watched all the time. Well i guess they got the tip they wanted about $600.00 worth. So what ever you do dont get these people to move you. They will rip you off.

I HAVE PHOTOS OF THOSE REVIEWS AS WELLWE GOT SCAMMED!* He found us thru GoFundMe, promised hubby a job, gave him $850 to move us & didn't, then refused us a receipt. My kids have special needs, 1 is disabled & needed her medical things- Junior didn't care. We were freezing on the floor w/o our things in Austin since Thanksgiving. He broke the contract (12/3/17) He promised that our refund was sent 12/13/17 today is 1/1/18 it never came. I have screenshots of his lies, broken contracts, bogus TXDOT ID, etc. He pretends to help ppl in need then keeps the money! Feel free to contact me for details @primetimemovingep@gmail.com. The media is now aware of this scammer & the El Paso community at large as well as TXDOT, the IRS, BBB etc. will also know what kind of "business" he runs. *DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN!* I encourage you to look into him BEFORE you give him any money! EDIT: After sending a complaint to the BBB, TXDOT my husband asking him, and waiting several months, he gave us our money back. This barely scratches the extra expenses of moving on Christmas Day or the incredible amount of stress this caused us, including spending the winter without appropriate clothes or bed for my kids. But I'm glad that he at least paid us back. 3/31/18
