Classic BAIT AND SWITCH, in my opinion. Save yourself the headache and hire a bunch of circus clowns to move your stuff faster than this company can. I was quoted about two hours for two men to move my fully packed and ready to go one-bedroom apartment just one building over. Instead of using the truck, the movers walked everything over one item at a time, making the move take far longer than it should have. They actually sent three movers, but I only consistently saw two working. The pricing is nowhere near as transparent as the quote makes it seem. I was NEVER clearly told that the 15% fuel surcharge applies to both labor and travel time, even when the truck isn't being used. Chris, their customer service rep defended the "expert" process, offered a $100 credit, and called it a day. A move I expected to cost around $500-$600 ended up costing $910. They don't start time for the move until they report it to dispatch after arrival. Upon arrival, you are greeted by, GREAT, respectful, kind movers, we had Demetouse and Tax. They are brothers, and if you have them for your move, you are in great hands. I would recommend asking for them for your move. These guys were FAST at moving! We still had some miscellaneous things to pack, and we had to UP our speed on packing those items, to make sure WE didn't follow behind. They were done within (4) hours. I'd like to point out some advice for your move. * If the opportunity presents itself, move as much boxes as you can along with, random items. (We spent $30 on a U-Haul) * Have mattress covers for your mattresses. (Packing material costs) * Make sure, pathways are clear, and anything you can move for them to grab-and-go available. * Be ready to GO!!! Moved from Naples to Tampa in May. Paid extra to have the more luxe version of the insurance. Flagged to them 2 items that needed to be handled with care. 2 waterford crystal glasses that we had received as a wedding gift and my wedding dress + vail. Found my wedding veil in the bottom box. the waterford crystal glasses never made it. I called and they suggested that my mom moved them for us. Literally made that up? My mom wasn't there? Because i couldnt provide a receipt SINCE IT WAS A WEDDING GIFT, wouldnt reimburse the glasses. Not apologetic. Super defensive. Then, after a few weeks and finally getting all unpacked, I realized a whole box never made it - nothing super expensive but cheaper shoes, sentimental bags. I didn't even bother submitting a complaint because i dont have receipts from things 10 years old / that are sentimental and to be honest, most exchanges we have had since i reported an issue they were rude. Why would i put myself through that. I hope someone from management sees this and reaches out but i am not holding my breathe. We even tipped them and donated old xboxes to members of their team. Hired crew of 4 for an unload job only, single level, they arrived 2.5 hrs late, customer service person I spoke to while waiting had a horrible attitude with me and didn't care at all! The people that came were NOT good. They would leave stuff in the middle of a room, even after instructions. had to ask multiple times to get things placed as needed. One in particular took a mouthy attitude with me, complaining and talking back about heavy items, which he then put directly in front of a desk, so it had to be moved a second time. Worst of all within only a few minutes of work they had damaged and chipped brand new painted doorways and we don't even have large furniture! Now we need to repair their carelessness! I am writing to document the appalling service provided by All My Sons. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this company. While the crew arrived within the scheduled window, the professionalism ended there. The team sat in their truck for 25 minutes upon arrival, and I was subsequently charged for that time. Furthermore, I detected the scent of marijuana on the crew. The internal team dynamic was volatile; two movers bickered until one eventually called an Uber and abandoned the job mid-move. Despite paying for a four-person crew, I was left with three. The remaining crew members lacked the physical capability to move items over 75 lbs, leading to significant delays. To make matters worse, they showed a total lack of regard for my home, rolling dollies directly over my new flooring and carpeting without protection. We used this joke of a company for a move in September 2025. They sent 2 scrony kids who couldn't handle the job. I gave them the OK to call a third kid and was told the price would be $1800 and the job would be done in 4 hours. 10 hours later they informed me the price will be tripled and they walked off before everything was done, leaving me to finish moving furniture on my own. When I called the next day to complain about the move and damage to my walls, they said to make a claim and send it in. Long story short, they denied the claim! They are a fraud company. We used all my sons leaving Atlanta and moving into St. Pete (two different moving crews). The Atlanta crew was good, they helped us with packing a too small truck (our fault) but the crew we had in St. Pete, FL (C and crew from Bradenton, FL out of the Sarasota office) was awesome. They were fast (finished an hour early) and they were so pleasant. They were laughing with each other, having a great time even though the complex we moved into was kind of a headache to get around. They were so polite and careful with our items, ensuring everything was placed where we wanted it. This was our first move (out of 4 moves in 7 years) that we did not use a moving company that moved us start to finish (like packed the truck, drove it, and unloaded) and I was a little nervous about that, but all in all I'm very happy with our experience. I had a very disappointing experience with All My Sons. During my move on 3/8/25, my dresser was damaged. Per the contract I signed, the company provides $0.60 per pound for damaged items, which entitles me to $90 in reimbursement (far far less than a proper assessed payment, but what I signed off on regardless). However, instead of simply honoring their own contract, they refused to issue my payment unless I signed an additional settlement agreement that included a non-disparagement clause--something that was never part of our original agreement. When I asked for the payment I was owed, they stated they would not process it unless I signed this new agreement, which I find to be completely unfair and unethical. Holding a customer's rightful compensation hostage in exchange for signing away their ability to leave an honest review is unacceptable. If you're considering using this company, be aware of their questionable business practices. I would not recommend them based on my experience. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!! On 12/10/24, we hired one of their moving crews to assist us with moving out of our old apartment and into our new apartment, within the same complex. The new apartment was only three buildings away from the old apartment, and we are closer to the Tampa All My Sons headquarters. I would assume so that they could get more mileage out of us, they gave us the Sarasota guys instead. Not sure if that's the reason, but I would always assume the worst when it comes to this price gouging company. During the move, we had a few situations where their moving crew left us less than satisfied, as detailed below: 1) One of their movers broke the side support board of our wooden queen bed frame (photos attached). The lead mover was very apologetic, but the mover that broke the bed frame seemed to care less about what he had done. We do not have possession of the bed frame anymore, as the All My Sons (AMS) team disposed of it during the move. We were not informed that damaged property was to be held onto during the claims process. 2) Also, when the bed frame broke, the lead mover screamed and cursed at the mover that broke the bed. We were inside the apartment when we heard him screaming all the way from outside. We live in a residential area with multiple families with small children. 3) I purchased a mattress cover from the AMS team. When the movers were bringing the mattress into the new apartment, they for some reason took the mattress cover off. When they drug the mattress on the floor, this caused part of the mattress side to rip (photos attached). 4) The moving crew seemed very inexperienced, slow, and disinterested in their jobs. Specifically, the specific mover that damaged the bed frame was spending half of his time sitting in mine and my fiance's office chairs and was watching the other movers work. Also, we had several hard plastic totes loaded and ready to move; however, the crew kepting looking at them and consistently asked "Ugh, are you sure you want us to move all of this?". They would say that to me every time I told them what items we wanted to move next. Their moving crew was so slow we were forced to move the rest of the stuff by ourselves and were working until past midnight. In addition to this, the lead mover even mentioned something about breaking another client's television on their previous move that day and was complaining about it being taken out of his paycheck. I do not think it very appropriate to tell your clients about the damage you have caused on previous jobs. 5) The total price we paid came out much higher than what was originally quoted to me via phone call. We were quoted one price and we were billed around triple that price. It shouldn't cost nearly $1,000 to move a one bedroom apartment to another unit in the SAME complex. When we got the bill, we got a large mileage/fuel charge, which was astounding to us, considering the move was walking distance. If you decide to use this garbage company, get a quote in writing. When we talked to the claims department, the man on the phone was very rude to my fiance. He didn't act like he knew anything about our situation at all, and when my fiance asked if he had read his email pertaining to the situation, the employee said "do you know how many emails I get per day?" And offered us $70. We fought back and they gave us another $200. I waited to make this review until that check was in our hands and the money was in the bank, because I am POSITIVE if I left it any earlier, somehow that check would've gotten "lost in the mail." Do not, under any circumstances, pay for this company's moving services. They are unprofessional, price gouge you and hold your stuff hostage until you pay their crazy rates, and are rude. Pay the up charge for two men and a truck, it's worth not having to deal with these people. Two men and a truck would've been cheaper anyways once they gave us the true rate while our stuff was held hostage in their truck. read more

Poor experience with the Tampa location--beware of overcharges. I hired All My Sons Moving (Tampa) for a simple move--just a few items from one condo's storage unit to another across the street. I was quoted a 2-hour minimum plus 1-hour travel at $169/hour, with a 20% fuel surcharge and a $50 senior discount. Pretty straightforward. But they arrived unprepared--came up to the unit without any equipment/dollies just to have paperwork signed, and then had to go all the way back down (over 20 stories) to retrieve their dollies. That wasted time in a high-rise building was not part of the travel time I was already paying for--it was charged as billable moving time, even though no moving had started yet. Later, there were more delays due to internet issues and additional paperwork before they could begin unloading. They billed me for 2.5 hours of labor instead of 2, and that padded time also increased the fuel surcharge. When I questioned it, a staff member abruptly dismissed me and falsely claimed "it only took five minutes." It absolutely did not. This kind of disorganization and dismissive response is unacceptable. I've informed both condo associations not to recommend them, and as a licensed realtor, I won't refer them to clients either. Unfortunately, I have to write a review because of the abhorrent service I received and I hope to serve as a cautionary tale for anyone looking at hiring All My Sons for their next move. I booked with Al My Sons in early June of 2024 for a September move with a rate of $199.00/Hr. I chose All My Sons after seeing their less than flattering rating at a national level but more positive reviews out of the Boston office. What a mistake this turned out to be. I received a call on the Thursday before the move CONFIRMING I was the first move of the day as I told them back in June I needed to be out by 12pm. The dispatcher told me they arrive between 815 and 1015am. She also notified me that they were adding a 3rd driver since it was a busy weekend WITHOUT mentioning that rate would be increasing to 249/Hr. On Saturday morning, the day before the move, I received an Email stating that my rate was now 249/Hr and since it was a day before my move there was nothing I could do about it. I bit the bullet assuming it would be a quicker move. On Sunday, they showed up at 1pm and a man short. We spent a good 15 minutes discussing the rate and one of the movers called it in and got it changed back to 199 but the damage was done. I had to pay 250 bucks to the people moving in to the place I was moving out of because All my Sons showed up 5 hours late disrupting my noon move out that I had confirmed back in June. When we got to the new place they couldnt fit my box spring upstairs, damaged my high end desk chair, and cracked one of my surround sound speaker stands. They handed me a bill for 1700+ for a one bedroom move with minimal stuff after showing up 5 hours late and a mover short after bait and switching me on the initial service of 2 men for 199. I tried calling to speak to the Operations Manager and he was conveniently out of the office. Spoke with whoever was tasked with phone duty that day and never received a call back after the initial complaint. I tried to dispute the charge with my credit card company but since All my Sons made me sign paperwork while my stuff was still on the truck at the new place (Now I get why they do this) there's nothing they can do. I'm left writing reviews/warnings on as many sites as I can and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Please do yourself a favor and do not book with these crooked, bait and switching folks. Take a little bit of a higher rate from a competitor and rest easy knowing your moving day won't turn into more of a nightmare than it already is. read more

My first EVER negative Review. DO NOT HIRE THEM. The actual movers are nice, even though under paid. We called for a detail quote. We were asked several questions about everything that needed to be moved. We were quoted $775.00. They show up. they load the truck. once they get to your moving place, the central office indicated the price is now $1,980 plus to tip each mover (100-150). Until you pay the money they will not empty a single item for the truck. The worst company I have ever dealt with. You will not find a single negative review ever by me for any industry. They arrive and the clock starts- you have to do paperwork and pay all while being charged. I was quoted 150.00 per hour with a first time user 75.00 discount. What she failed to mention or failed to send in writing that there is a $150 TRAVEL fee and $89.00 gas fee..they came at me wanting 700.00 then talked nasty to me when I questioned it. I was pretty skeptical to use this company with all the horrendous reviews. But I lucked out. The guys who helped me move, Dee (and forgot his partner's name) worked quickly and efficiently. It was a labor only move and they understood I wanted to remain within a specific timeframe (for budget reasons) and they ensured they moved as much as possible to accommodate. The movers had the nerve to tape the piece they broke to make it look like nothing happened until we settled in and saw the crack where the manual on/off button is. TV is also warped. A one bedroom apartment moving 20 minutes away to another one bedroom apartment should not take nine hours, and it would not if staffed properly. The moving crew themselves worked very hard and did their best, the problem is they are severely understaffed on the job and we should have been a four hour move took almost 9 hours because there were only two men on it. I believe they intentionally understaffed their moves so they take longer because it is only charged by the hour as well as an 18% fuel surcharge I strongly discourage anyone from using this company. read more

Had a pre-conceived script with a fast talking associate. When I asked about saving the $300, the fast talker had to ask someone. Came back and said we don't do that.
