Overall this was a decent moving experience. Being prior military, I have moved more times than I can remember. On the plus side, the two guys who came to my house, Ferdinand and Green, hustled from start to finish and it was over 5 hours total for loading, transport and unloading. On the down side, the sales process while smooth and very corporate, lacked some communication with their team on the ground. For example, the booking team specifically said to leave drawers in dressers. The movers were shocked as they would always prefer less weight. Would I use them again? Probably. But I would prefer an actual mover to do the estimate instead of someone over the phone sight unseen. Even a FaceTime or similar video app that would allow for a visual could go a long way towards aligning everyone's expectations. read more

I booked a move with their representative, Jason, to relocate three storage units into a senior living community. Despite providing specific details and signing an agreement for an 11 AM - 3 PM window, the company failed to honor nearly every verbal and written commitment. I took time off work based on a discussed 12 PM start time, yet at 1:08 PM, no one had contacted me. When I reached Jason, the schedule "shifted" multiple times in a single phone call--first to 1 PM, then to 3 PM--contradicting our agreement. To make matters worse, the estimated labor time suddenly jumped from 3 hours to 5 hours without explanation. Because they could no longer meet the timeline required to vacate my units by month-end, I cancelled and requested a refund of my $199 deposit. They refused, claiming it was non-refundable despite the fact that they breached the service window. A mover eventually called me an hour after I cancelled, admitting a last-minute job had been prioritized over my advance booking. From the very start where the movers showed up on the wrong day for the move to when they did show up. Instead of the four hours we recorded took them almost 7. They're very nice about apologizing because one of the guys was new when he was moving extremely slow. We bought the extra protection for our big screen TV. They broke. It broke the dining room table damaged another hardwood TV stand. Spoke with Mike several times said he turned in a claim and it would all be covered never reimbursed said he would call back, didn't do it. THE WORST cross country move experience of our lives . The assigned cross country driver did not leave our location until 1.5 days AFTER promised which put an unrealistic amount of pressure on him to drive like a bat out of hell to arrive to our new location 3200 miles away. He told us he was extremely exhausted when he arrived . Then the fun part began . EZ Brothers contracted 2 helpers to unload our truck who only brought a dolly and advised us they didn't assemble furniture etc . as we were promised. The long haul driver brought ZERO tools with him since he advised us he'd be flying back to his home base . Ever heard of renting tools guys to get the job done ? Additionally , the unload helpers were suppose to arrive in the morning and did not arrive until mid day thus making it almost impossible to complete the unload of our 26 foot truck PLUS re- assemble our furniture . This met the exhausted driver had to do all of this on his own including lift very heavy furniture for reassembly . My partner and I were beyond frustrated and furious with this process and these guys knew it . Here's where it gets REALLY GOOD. It's clearly evident the work was not going to get done as promised on the arrival date and the fact the 2 helpers had only been contracted for a few hours - they take off , the truck is still more than 1/2 full and Jack ( one of the business partners ) is DEMANDING another $1500.00 from us to come back the next day to get the job done citing additional expenses needed for his driver to spend an extra night / changed airfare and whatever other BS they told us . If we didn't pay it , they would NOT unload our truck !!! This was NOT in the original contract . I want to WARN all of you considering this company NOT TO USE THEM for long distance hauls under ANY circumstances!!! Jack is a smooth operator and will tell you that pigs fly and have you believing it but in the end this move was a nightmare from the depths of hell . They came back on day 2 with 1 very good helper who assisted in unloading the remaining items and in re-assembly of our furniture ( many pieces had been scraped and damaged ) but at that point we only wanted our belongings off the truck . My 62 year old petite partner played a huge role in jumping into the truck to assist with the unloading or it might not have gotten done . We have filed a formal complaint with the DOT to report this company and their unethical practices of attempting to extort money from customers by threatening not to unload your belongings when it was very piss poor planning on their behalf. BEWARE, they were a no-show for my move. Then three weeks later is harassing me with text messages because I left a bad review. (Photos attached) The most nightmare moving experience I've ever had, and we all know how stressful moving can be. Well, Brothers EZ Moving made it so much worse. We booked them weeks before the move, and they also took a deposit for the booking. The night before the move, they inform me my morning move was now scheduled for NOON because they decided to book another "quick move" before me. When I informed them this was not what I booked and that I expected them at my home in the early AM, Jack said "Sorry, your time is now at noon, and if that doesn't work for you you can hire another mover" (as if that's possible the night before a move). Well, noon comes and goes and they're a no-show. They call me at 12:30 to say they are not gonna make it till 3:00! When I tell them this is unacceptable, Jack tells me "sorry, but 3:00 is now the time and there's nothing we can do." Welp, 3:00 comes and goes and they haven't showed nor called. At 3:30 I'm calling and emailing and after several attempts, I finally receive a call back around 3:45 saying the movers aren't going to make it until 6:00 PM!!! At this point, I've finally gotten a hold of the manager or owner or whoever he was, and he has nothing but excuses and "I'm sorries." He said he'd add another guy to the move to make ours go faster but they won't make it to my house utill 6:00 pm. Yep, it gets worse. 6:00 comes and goes, and they're a no call no show. I call them back again to only be sent to voicemail over and over again. Completely ignored. My husband and I decided at 6:45 PM to go rent a 25' U-Haul truck and move ourselves. It was the longest night of my life. I emailed them the next day asking for a refund for my deposit, and I never got a response until today, THREE and a HALF weeks later. And I posted screenshots of that conversation, which will tell you all you need to know about this company and how it's run. Even after asking him to stop contacting me, he proceeds to continue sending harassing messages, like a child, apparently shocked that I'd leave his company a bad review. Guy reached out and never did what he said what he would do, which was fix the situation. I made a clear understanding to the staff about pricey items and they never even bubble wrapped the merchandise. I had over 10k in damages and I was reimbursed $700. At least a percentage of the merchandise or insuring your work would have been nice. Broke all my furniture and my wife was pissed! Many of the items had sentimental value and the owner reaches out 4 years later? Says his business was affected and wants to resolve. My experience with this moving company was disappointing. - The initial sales call experience Jack was good. He promised good service levels and was responsive to questions. - I called in 2 days before my move find out when the movers would be arriving and they confirmed an 8am to 12 noon pick up window. - on the morning of my move date, Jack texted me stating a 12 noon to 3pm pick up window. I wrote back questioning the time change and if it could be earlier as I had an important work call at 4pm. He didn't respond to the question and wasn't responsive to texts after that. - the moving crew didn't arrive until 4:15pm and then we got stuck in rush hour traffic for an hour (would have been 30 minutes in transit if they were on time). - Also, the Jack and another EZ rep said that the moving crew would wrap my furniture and they didn't. There had been instances where the sofa fabric made contact with the ground. - I called the Jack after the move and explained the poor service. He just made excuses and said he'd run it by the owner and get back to me. He never called back. I tried calling the company a couple times more and they would just leave a message for Jack who would never return the call. - Jack's advice on the call re: poor service was for me to leave a review and let the company's management / ownership get back to me. That's how Brother's EZ deals with service issues. If you're planning on moving, I don't recommend this company. They over promise, under deliver and then brush their customers off when big service misses are raised with them. Better off trying All my Sons moving or some other local competitor. read more

My husband and I used Brothers EZ Moving in July 2024. Josh and Gary were fantastic during the move. It ended up taking longer than planned, but the guys still kept a positive mood. Gary had asked me what is most important to me for them to keep safe and I let him know the teak table and china cabinet were most important. Unfortunately, the table legs broke during the drive to our new apartment. I will take partial fault as I didn't want to take the legs off due to time and the table was not flipped onto its top in the truck, so it just toppled over somehow as the TV was on it (which broke as well). I wasn't too upset, I was very understanding and took partial blame. Josh offered to try to fix the legs for us. Come February 2025, we finally got the legs back from Josh, unfixed, due to him having trouble finding a way to keep them stable etc. We ended up moving to WA State and found someone to fix the legs out here within 3 days. I called Brothers EZ Moving to see if we could still utilize the insurance we had during our move with them and Jack told me to email Gary. Over a week later and I still have not heard from Gary. I have emailed him multiple times and have called the office and was told they would pass the message on to Gary. I have received no acknowledgement from him what so ever, which is disrespectful after I treated him and Josh with much respect. I have not even been rude in my emails or follow up calls. I wouldnt recommend this moving company. They are the experts and two items broke in the move. If you ask about their insurance if something breaks, they ghost you. We told them at the beginning, of all the items we own, there are only THREE items we truly care about and need to be handled with care...one of those being a beautiful, black wood dining table that no longer is made (and was almost 3k). And what happened? They attempted to put together the table incorrectly and drilled 5 holes through the top. It's ruined. From the scheduling steps with Elena, the arrival of the appropriate trucks and the AMAZING packing skills of not only the owner Gary but also Philman and Matt, every request I had was successfully met. Salesman was a nice guy. The guy on the phone and the guy who came in-person. Both misled me on cost, moving date availability, and form of payment. I was willing to overlook it because the industry is always shady unless you can pay a gazillion dollars for people to move your stuff from point A to point B. They tried to charge me $500 (on each end so $1000) more than the contract stated for some reason, no explanation. That should have been a red flag that this company isn't as 5-star as they proclaim. Movers were nice. Loaded up the truck quickly. But come to find out only one mover was making the trip from FL to MD and he'd meet people up there. I didn't understand. Well, I do now. Brothers EZ Moving basically has one guy rent a truck and some day laborers to move you. Which would be fine, except what if there's a problem? So the mover showed up at the destination promptly, and unpacked the truck with some help from a third party company called Bellhops. The problem arose when they put one fist-sized hole in one wall and one thumb-sized hole in another. The mover showed it to me and tried to get me to sign a statement saying that the third party company Bellhops was responsible and if I wanted to get the wall fixed I'd have to go through them. This threw me for a loop. I declined and he said Brothers EZ Moving would just tell me the same thing. Still declined to sign. What a scam Essentially, you pay Brothers EZ Moving who in turn hire someone to do the moving and if those workers screw up then it's between you and them. If you go to a burger stand you don't expect them to in turn hire someone else to cook your burger, and if they gave you a hot dog you certainly wouldn't be okay if the burger company said, 'If you want a burger take it up with those other people you haven't made any contract with.' Other than misleading me about the cost and availability, other than the shady behavior with the holes in the walls, other than leaving about three garbage bags of blankets on some furniture they didn't bother to unwrap even after I asked them to (could have been an honest mistake), and other than the fact that they ignored my request that the boxes with Number 1 go on the first floor, 2 on the second, 3 on the third, it wasn't bad. But it was expensive as hell and although all the workers were very nice, this company is no good. I'll update this review if Brothers EZ Moving gets in touch with me about fixing the wall. It's literally dry wall and it wouldn't cost a lot to fix it. I paid five grand and I tipped each worker at both the pick up and drop off. Shady company. read more

In the past, I used Brothers EZMoving for a short move to my new home. I had several large items I was unable to pick up, take apart and move myself. Their team showed up on time, were professional and worked efficiently. Once moved to my new home, they pointed out I should probably replace some of the hardware on a dated bed. The team waited for my husband to go to Lowe's, get new hardware and bring it back for a more durable solution. Everything was completed without an issue. AVOID THIS COMPANY I hired this company because they recommended all mattresses and box springs be moved in boxes, which impressed me. During the move, they didn't use boxes, bags, or blankets, but instead dragged my Tempurpedic beds across a parking lot and onto their truck with no protection. Their claims department has refused to compensate for the filthy, damaged mattress and bed foundation even the pittance required by law, despite numerous requests. In addition, they packed FRUITS and VEGETABLES knowing our home goods would be in storage for weeks. They didn't wrap a lot of our furniture and had our kid leather, off white RH bed laying in loose gravel in the parking lot. When I asked them why they'd done it, a mover said, "Oh, did you want us to wrap it before we brought it outside?" The list goes on and on, and on. I've usually been able to relax and let movers do their thing but I was constantly having to ask them to wrap things, and say things like "Please stop trying to cram that original painting face down onto those shells", etc. By leaps and bounds the worst movers I've ever used. Sloppy, careless, and unethical. If you want useable furniture at the end of your move, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! read more

We paid $8,000 to brothers ez moving to move us across the Country last month. The movers ran out of moving pads and didn't tell anyone. I'm posting pictures of some of the damage which their claims department has denied because they claim it is minor scratches. We also had a large broken vase broken, $80 steam mop broken into 3 pieces and a few other items that we've already thrown away. I would avoid this moving company. @gary's response: that's great that you're fixing that problem internally, however that does nothing for the damage to all of our things or the fact that your company claims it is normal and expected moving damage. OooI searched Yelp to find some good reviews for a mover.  I found Brotherz EZ moving company.  They were the quickest to respond but their quote was a little pricier than some of the other movers. However because they had some of the best reviews I ultimately chose to use them. I was not disappointed. We didn't have much to move but we needed to go up and down 3 flights of stairs.  We made the mistake of trying to do this ourselves last time.  Never again! Let me start off by saying, I appreciate that we were given a 2 hour window of time and they were flexible in letting me choose the 2 hour time frame instead of telling me how it was going to be. Of course, my movers called beforehand to let me know that they were about 20 minutes out. I told them that I was going to try to get lunch real quick and could they give me a little extra time. They had no problem with that. We picked a time of about 11:45 a.m. They pulled up at 11:41 a.m. They were in and out in no time.  They moved me from the Mango area to the Riverview Gibsonton area. From start to finish, it took three and a half hours even with those ridiculous flights of stairs. This included movement of major appliances and take down and set up of furniture. They moved quickly. I had 3 movers, Isaiah, Tyler and D Myers. They did everything with a sense of humor and extreme professionalism. Believe me, I have paid movers before who were not professional at all and were only moving items from the truck to the home which took longer. I am satisfied with my choice. read more

I have used Brothers EZ moving on three occasions. The first two went very well. The crews were prompt and professional and didn't stop until they were done. Rate, estimated time and furniture was properly protected. This latest move was a complete polar opposite. Real wood furniture was loaded into the truck with no protection and in the rain. The foreman did not pay attention to details like the other did. The third guy in the crew was wreckless and no regard for our property or possessions. He stacked a heavy box that said "heavy glass do not stack" on top of two boxes of pillows. They collapsed and crashed multiple bottles of wine for 5 ft stack to crash into $15k of new tile flooring causing broken bottles of wine, damaged floor and grout. A huge dent on the front of our bedroom set dresser and big gouges and scratched on our sofa table. I came inside from unloading my car to find my couch cushions and pillows all over the dirty and wet floor. Also they didn't pick up any of the plastic, tape of packing materials from the furniture they did cover. What makes this all worse, i called to pay a compliment on the last move and got a call back in minutes from the manager. The manager has been too busy or not cared enough to call me back after nearly a week. Oh... and didn't mention that they quoted a rate of $128 but charged $169 per hour. Pretty disappointing. I would highly recommend anyone else because it's a craps shoot with Brothers EZ moving and when something goes wrong they are no where to be found. read more

The movers themselves were very good. The problem I had was that they came in over $400.00 higher than their estimate. I believe they purposely come in low on the estimate to get the job. They take their sweet time unloading to rack up the hourly charges. I would not use them again. All things considered there was less than $100.00 worth of damage that I am eating rather than go through the trouble of putting in a claim. These guys were absolutely amazing. I called last minute when my husband got called to his mother's bedside at hospice and I was going to have to deal with the move alone and as fast as possible so I could go join him. They were at my place within 2 hours of me calling and could not have been more professional. As the day wore on I saw that I needed much more help than just 'the big stuff' and they pitched right in and took down custom closets & blinds, took my plants, and even continued to smile and laugh with me as i found even more things that I found for them to carry! Isaiah and Jackson(?) were funny and kind and I would have them right back tomorrow IF I considered moving...which I don't want to do for awhile...but when I do, they're my guys! I've never felt as comfortable trusting movers with my things before - and I have alot of antique items, but they were careful and respectful of the age of my items. Thanks, guys! Not a scratch!! I just moved about 2 weeks ago and had a good experience with this company. They gave me an estimate of 2 hours but finished the job in 1.5hrs! My movers were Vereen, Newsome, Michael, and Zach S. I received an accurate time estimate and advanced notice call. The movers packed and carefully transported my TV free of charge with a box they brought. They were very kind and professional. If there were items that weren't allowed on the truck per policy, they still helped me carry it down 3 flights of stairs to load in my car. I was able to unpack everything that night and didn't find anything damaged. I really appreciated that they emailed me a price estimate in the beginning. Nothing was a surprise and the cost was all broken down without any hidden fees. It's easy to read and understand. I would definitely use this company again! read more
