I've moved four times in the DC area and this is by far the best moving service I've used. First, they were exceptionally prompt. They sent three guys and each one was incredibly diligent (compared to other moving companies, where there's usually one guy who slacks). Most reassuringly, this moving company has a system. They have it down to a science, and got us out of our place in half the time our last moving company took. This isn't "move-one-box-at-a-time": they brought pallets and bins, securely (and delicately) moving multiple items at once to save time. We got our whole move done in 3 hours, when it had taken 5 with a different company. And in contrast to other companies we've used, there wasn't damage to a single piece of furniture or scratches on the walls. Just hired All N 1 Stop to pack & move our apartment into a Pod storage container. There were a few hiccups (to no fault of their own) between the rain and our service elevator reservation being largely ignored. They ran a bit behind due to some delays out of their hands, so they sent an extra person to help. It wound up not costing me any extra money and made everything go extremely fast. It was super easy to pay using PayPal too! Before hiring them I got quotes from about 5-10 other moving companies in the area and they were one of the least expensive as well. Great job! read more

Worst moving company ever. They came In my house and lodge around for 15-20 minutes. They took the wheels off my couch when I told them the couch was too big to fit through the door. This review is almost 2 years overdue. The owner Bryan was recommended by a mutual friend, and i'm grateful for that referral. Setting-up the details of the move was seamless. Bryan was very responsive, and his crew were very professional. Kudos to the person that managed the move (I believe his name was Sydney), as he made sure the process of getting all of my things out of two storage units and into my new home, safely, went without a hitch. Once I was settled in, I did notice some damage to furniture and the walls; however, nothing major. And considering how much stuff I had and all the different directions the movers had to go inside the home, not to mention, the sweltering heat and how exhausted those movers must've been, I'm grateful the damage was so little. This would have been a 5 star review. I called them 3 days before my moving date. They told me they could move some stuff around to accommodate my Saturday morning move, so big props to them. They arrived at or before the scheduled time around 9am. They had everything packed and loaded into the truck in 2 hours or less for a 1.5 bedroom move, pretty fast for a 3 man crew given that the truck was a few hundred feet from the apartment. They unloaded and assembled everything in the new apartment in about an hour and a half so I was pretty ecstatic about everything. Then it all started going downhill. Towards the end of the move, I decided to turn on my TV to make sure that the cable company had transferred the service over. Then I notice what seems to be a big crack on the LCD screen on the inside but there seems to be no outside damage where the crack appears. I point it out to them, they call the office to report it and we all took pictures of it. I talk to the office and they till me I'll receive an email on Monday to start the claims process. The next day I notice a small dent on the bottom left hand side of the screen that I hadn't noticed before because you couldn't see it with the TV on, so I took pictures of that too. Monday came and went and I got nothing from them, so I called them on Tuesday and was told that I would be getting a call later that day from Tanya from the Claims department. That same day I got the invoice from them and a reminder that they had a 30 days claims process and I would be contacted regarding the TV. Called again the next day and was told I would be contacted before the end of the week. Never got a call back from them. Finally got a hold of Tanya on July 10, and she told me to send her photos of the TV, which I did. Since I hadn't heard anything from them, I called again on the 14th and was told that the claim was denied because they hadn't noticed the damage to the TV on the day of the move and it had been properly wrapped and handled, even though the pictures clearly showed it being damaged. Needless to say, they've lost a customer. read more

I moved to my new apartment the first week of June and used All n 1 to move my furniture/boxes. My now-roommate sent me a living social deal for All n 1, $40 for the first hour. They're based out of Maryland and the voucher said that they won't go outside of a certain radius of their location. Thankfully, Van Ness (my previous apartment) and Mt. Vernon were within the radius, and I coordinated the moving date with Bryan, their director of operations. As the date came closer, I called to confirm the date/time. I expressed interest in being the first move of the day, but they had already made previous arrangements. Fine. They gave me a 3-hour window. Because I had totally packed up my bedroom, I crashed with a friend the night before my move. I still had a few loose items to pack up, so I headed back to my apartment building around 7am. As I walked up to the building, I saw a moving truck outside. You could see the Penske logo had been painted over...and I saw that it was All n 1! They'd had a cancellation, and had tried calling me at work (definitely make sure they have your right number in case a last minute change like this happens again). This might have been frustrating for some people, but I was thrilled. But I wasn't completely packed. They two men who were helping me move (I don't remember their names but they were very nice) were very chill and didn't mind me shoving things into various boxes. And let's be clear: I wasn't even packing my things in just boxes. I had things in bags, reappropriated trashcans, suitcases...nothing was a problem! The other reviewer noted that they moved things one at at time to the truck, but that wasn't the case with the men who helped me move. They very reasonably filled the freight elevator using their dolly/cart and transported things to the truck. The one hiccup was that I hadn't deconstructed my bed. They thought it might be able to fit in the freight elevator, but of course, it couldn't. The men actually took it apart FOR me and got it down into the truck. The truck was huge--my things probably took up one-fourth of the space (deconstructed full-size Malm bed from Ikea, bookshelf, dresser, desk + chair, 4 huge boxes, ~10 various sized boxes). We met up at my new place and they emptied the truck, putting everything exactly where I asked them to. It took around three hours to get all my things moved, and I ultimately paid $40 + $180 = $220. The $180 was definitely more than Bryan quoted for me, but I didn't quibble. $220 to move ALL of my things hassle-free was worth it to me. One last thing: when I immediately went to go reconstruct my bed, I realized that the men had taken the screws and other random things necessary to reconstruct them. I called Bryan, he called the guys, and they came to ME to drop it off. Minus that (and the increased price), I would have given them five-star review! read more

I'd give All N 1 about 4.5 stars. I found them through a living social deal, but was on the fence about going with them. They matched the prices of their competitors and I ended up with All N 1. PROS: Their guys were great. Real professional. They got here on time and at the earlier end of the time range they gave me. Most importantly, when in doubt, they (James) went the extra mile to blanket wrap my expensive, bulky leather furniture. It was very reassuring and gave me peace of mind that someone was going to take care of my belongings- and take care of it well. The other 2 guys were also careful with my things and moved it in a timely fashion. CONS: The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because one of my leather pull out sleeper ottoman got punctured during the move and now I have small white edges around the punctured area (from the material inside) sticking out and I cannot hide that. It would have been easier to hide if part of the leather was just eroded/scratched. Otherwise, everything came intact. I've moved my household goods with 5 moving companies between 2009 and 2015 due to military moves. This one has been one of the better companies to work with. Our move was wonderful, considering we were moving, of course. Brian and his crew were respectful of our possessions, wrapped everything, damaged nothing, handled our items as if they were their own. The crew took a short juice and water break, and never stopped working all day. All were gentle and gentlemen, men you'd be glad to have in your home. Even when things got dicey, with a couch that didn't really want to go around that corner and into that room, there was no swearing, no blaming, no fussing, just a "we can do it" attitude (which I REALLY needed at that time!). And then some arranging advice, badly needed, and leveling of uneven shelves and cabinets, and when we were satisfied, off they went, late, and tired, but still good natured and pleasant. I would never hesitate to recommend this company. And if I move again, I'll call them without a doubt. Based on that earlier experience, we again called on Brian and his crew to clean a home from which our renters had just moved. Happily, it was empty although various people (including us) were working at chores and had to be accommodated. Again, these were such pleasant folks to have around, and they did an excellent job, above and beyond, since when we folded under not being able to reinstall a handrail, Vincent helped...well, no...took over and did it right! This was not his job, but that's the kind of folks that work at All N ! Stop Moving. They are...simply put...good people. And they do a good job. read more
