The owner, Alison, is an expert, and was delightful sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm. I was impressed by the depth of her knowledge of boots, hides and turquoise, among other things. I enjoyed our conversation as I shopped. I am now the proud owner of a gorgeous, large cowhide, which makes an outstanding rug in my family room. The quality and beauty of the hide is indescribable, we will love it for years to come. Looks terrific with my leather sofa and warms my hardwood floors. It is the perfect rug. I actually thought it was too nice to use as a rug, but the owner shared so much about how to care and clean it, it gave me the confidence to try it. We love it. I recommend a visit to Tumbleweeds, the prices, the quality, and the style are unbeatable. The owner is charming. I have called almost every day only to hear from the owner once, no one seems to want to help me or fix any of these problems! I had to buy two new cupboards to fix the 30 inch gap which I was told it would only take another two weeks to get, turned out it won't be getting those for another 6 weeks! I was offered pictures to be taken, we said yes, and even dresses/hats for us to dressed up, but we politely declined. The tea shop was vacant for us, so we enjoyed being there together for our little tea time. Even the lady was easy to talk to and her service was good, but we have our second thoughts about this tea shop. We didn't have scones with the cream, only sandwiches and desserts. At least the sandwiches were nice portions for the 2 of us. Other tea shops we have been to, comes in with scones and creams. Desserts were kind oh meh!. They felt like stored-bought desserts for a $35 p/person tea service. On the other hand, I enjoyed the strawberry cobbler, I never had before. You also have the option to try at least 3 different kind of teas, that is good to know for someone trying new teas experiences. But we have to wait a few times for the hot water to come in. In overall, I just wished to have scones with cream included, the desserts being made there and not stored-bought, and the hot water pitcher left in on our table instead of being served, so we can serve ourselves, instead of waiting. I think there is room for improvement, and the location is nice.
