Service engine soon light came on on my car and I was unable to drive it. I called out all points. They gave me a diagnostic price and asked me to tow the car to them. The next day they had my vehicle and they diagnosed it. The engine was blown or at least had a major defect and needed to be replaced. They didn't try to upsell me just to get money. I'm coming to these guys for five years and was recommended this company by my brother-in-law who's been coming to them for a minimum of 10 years. I've taken my 2013 explorer here several times. It's a Ford and over 10 years old, so more often than I'd like. I find their service very professional and honest. The quotations system is top tier. It's all electronic, with all parts of the quote broken down with pictures and price. You select what you would like fixed and approve. They have even told me which items aren't a priority for now, and what can wait for later, which I really appreciate. I've never felt they are adding on just to generate business. Beware Poor customer relations. I was quoted price with them. They called me to tell me that the repairs were done. Then I was told a different price for more part that I didn't approve of. They didn't give me a phone call to tell me that the price has changed. They proceeded to order the part without my consent. The person that answers the phone there is a little arrogant POS that thinks it's ok not ok to notify people to let me know about an changes. And all he can say is sorry. They need to find a better person to communicate and treat people with respect. read more

Well, naturally I'm hesitant to call auto care places because they treat women like we're stupid. I bought an older vehicle and asked for a quote for a tune up, I just don't have the time to do it myself. They gave me a quote of over $450 and said coils were not included. What! That's the main part of a tune up for my vehicle! A 2003 Ford Escape. I had just replaced the air filter and cabin filter so really I just needed the coils and spark plugs replaced. It was kind of funny to see how this employee kept stumbling over his reasonings when I know better but then I got angry at the attempt to rip me off. He was saying the back coils are just so hard to get to. (Wow! Aren't you an AUTO REPAIR BUSINESS???) There are 7 steps to get to the back coils. What if it was another woman that didn't know much about cars? They are going to rip you off. Don't go here. read more

I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee to All Pointes Auto, because the heater was not working, and a friend had referred me. Based on work that had been performed on my Jeep, previously, I was nearly certain that the repair would call for a $70 part and an hour of labor. How wrong I was... the master mechanics at All Pointes were quick to report that the root cause was merely a wiring short. They fixed the problem in about 5 minutes, and charged me less than $20, total! I found the mechanics at All Pointes Auto Service to be knowledgable, honest, transparent and fair. My experience was nothing short of comforting, especially given the unpredictable encounters I have had with other auto service shops. I felt good about getting my vehicle serviced at All Pointes. Recently took in my vehicle for a handful of issues (no cold A/C, check engine light w/ error code, and Stabilitrack/AWD/ABS service.) Wow. Just wow. Mikey & his guys are incredible. I had some serious road noise on the left and my right front tire was severely worn. With all the road work, I figured I needed a front end alignment. Mikey & one of his guys threw my Sonata up on the hoist and gave it a once over w/a fine tooth comb. Turned out I had a bad left front bearing, plus a leak in my right front axle boot. That plus 2 new tires & an alignment would run over $900 - caramba!! Mikey worked with me to prioritize what I needed to do, negotiated a great price w/his tire distributor on a pair of great tires, suggested I wait in the tiny leak from the axle boot, and after replacing the wheel bearing called to say I really didn't need an alignment - saving me over $300. Had a very positive experience with All Pointes Auto. I just moved here and needed a mechanic...when I Googled mechanics near me, they came up and were the only ones close to me (within walking distance) that had all 5-star reviews on Yelp, so I dropped in to make an appointment and get a ballpark estimate on what it would cost to fix my faulty turn signal. Even though they were swamped, they got the necessary part (my car is older, so they had to get the part from elsewhere, but it arrived quickly) and installed it in no time, for a very reasonable price. They take the time to explain and show you what's going on with your vehicle, and they don't talk down to you. I had previously been using another repair shop in SCS as my go-to place for years. Within a couple hundred miles of having that other company replace the engine in an old Envoy, the power steering went out. I had it towed to the other company whose new manager quoted $2,500 to repair (google said the repair should be under $500). On the recommendation of a friend, I had the truck towed to All-Pointes in Eastpointe. Anthony, Eddie and Mikey were great. They replaced the leaky power steering cooler for $380. Took our vehicle to All Pointes Auto for a tire pressure sensor & suspension noise. While they were able to replace tire sensor, the suspension issue was a nightmare. Vehicle was there for the better part of 4 weeks, replacing costly parts that did not resolve the issue. Owner Mikey called and made a "personal commitment" to resolve. We were charged $936 after week 1. Car was returned with suspension noise worse that when it was initially brought in. Contacted Owner & he agreed to full refund less the tire sensor. We were happy with this resolve and felt it was fair. However, overnight Owner had reconsidered and refunded only a 1/3 of the promised amount,claiming he felt it was a body design issue... we have had 3 experts review since, definitely was a suspension noise. Did not need the expensive parts and just needed to be lubed. We would never recommend this establishment - they do not stand behind their work & are dishonest to customers. read more

I have went to several auto shops in the area for one reason or another whether it be a simple oil change or service to one of my or families vehicles and I can tell you I have never once met a owner like Mike.. he is a honest and more importantly caring human being!!!!.. He has went out of way to make sure everything is taken care of and had never once rushed you and answered every and any question my wife and I had.. And trust me there was a ton!!
