Unbelievable service! I though I needed a front end alignment; went to Belle Tire and was presented a quote for $1,300+ just to get to the point where they would be able to perform the alignment. We called Banner (we needed this done prior to driving to East Lansing the next AM) to see if they would be able to do it and Dominick scheduled us an appointment a couple of hours later. Dropped off and received a call from Dominick that started with "good news" (something never uttered from any Mechanic I've ever used). He said that it was a wheel balance issue and not an alignment issue. $60 later we were out the door and the Jeep drives like new. I tried getting my Truck worked on, but every time I was told to come in, they were backed up like mad!!! After three failed attempts to fit me in, I reluctantly went elsewhere. I'm not saying I will not go back, as I hear they do excellent work for the coin, but they were just beyond slammed the week. I was told multiple times to come in and that it would be quick, like a hood running with a car stereo. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case all three times. Maybe on another day, as they seem like good folks, have rock-steady reviews(with the exception of someone with an ugly McLaren and another with a busted Solara). I'm not being mean, but the rest of the reviews say they are a great value for the services performed. I went here because of a coupon for $300 for new brakes and rotors and I walked out paying $984!! They said I had to have two new calipers. I went to three other mechanics and got a quote for the exact same job and every single one was between 675 and 695. And one of those mechanics had seen my brakes before cuz I got a quote from him and he said I didn't need calipers or hoses. I did all the research (it's what I did for a living) and he ripped me off $300 plain and simple. He was a very nice young man but he did what he did and it's lying and it's cheating and an elderly person to boot. wife got into an accident and we had her car towed to Banner on recommendation of tow truck driver. Had to take it back several times after they said it was fixed as the car had numerous issues. every bump caused it to sway and multiple clips and screws were missing to hold on covers. I complained and nothing was done. found out the struts and rear control arm were damaged in collision and they never addressed it. now it's too late and it's $6K to repair. I wouldn't trust these guys to inflate a tire. if I hadn't been pressed by cop to have it towed quickly I would have found a better shop. read more

My son's car experienced a problem while he was on the job. (He uses his car as part of his job). He was stuck in an unfamiliar city and needed our help so we assisted him with searching for a company to tow his vehicle and deciding on a place to have it towed. Since we were also unfamiliar with this part of town, one place sounded just as good as the other when he needed it fixed ASAP. Thankfully, the driver recommended Banner Auto Service Center, which was a short tow up the road and they also work on electrical issues so this was the place to go. The car needed a new starter and an ignition wire which had also gone bad and was causing a fuse to keep blowing, so they replaced that as well. The repair was performed promptly and our son's car was in good hands from beginning to end as we saw upon completion. This place offers courteous, professional and knowledgeable service and I'd highly recommend them if you want an honest and well run business to do the job right. read more

This is a great company. they are super fast with helpful solutions at a very good price. My dad went in a few days before I did to get his tire fixed and he did a great job. I myself had a ripped tire which I didn't know it was ripped until I got there. They order the tire on the spot and the next day at 10 o'clock I got my tires changed very quickly. I stopped into Banner on a whim, looking for a certain type of used tires. Unfortunately they didn't have any (neither did the 3 other places I checked...apparently it's a real common type of tire and people are always looking for them used...so I don't fault Banner for that!). But, they did take the time to measure my treads and make a recommendation of a way to rotate my tires so they would ride/wear a little more evenly, and essentially buy me a few more months of time. Only $10 for the rotation, and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes total. As a young, single woman who knows nothing about cars...I am always aware I am basically a sitting duck to a mechanic. So when a place is cool, it's a great thing. The guys at Banner helped me out without ever trying to upsell me, overcharge me, or make me feel stupid. Trying to be slick gets you nowhere. I went there to get my windshield wiper fix, I was charged $54.00 dollars. The guy tried to tell me the problem by making it seems as if he had to to this and that. All he did was tighten up the blade and it works. Trust me I don't mind paying but, don't insult my intelligence by lying. I could have done it myself if I had the time. I may not know much about cars, but I know a bullshitter everyday. I'm also allergic to germs so I want be back again. read more

The dealership solved the problem that took them a while to try to figure out.... which they couldn't (surprise).... also they were trying to figure out the problem and charged me $50 for 2 gallons of gas.
