The next morning, I dropped off the truck early in the morning telling Rocco what I had observed, he told me his team would be able to look at the truck that day and offer a synopsis and costing for repair. Later that same day he called and told me that there really wasn't a problem that a seal "weeped", but it wasn't a big problem at this point in time. I just needed to watch the oil level. My older pickup was at another repair shop when I decided that I also wanted to charge my A/C but they seemed high at 120.00 for a charge. When I called Fraser Automotive Bill told me it would be 70.00 - 90.00 max. We paid 85.00 for my car's A/C so that seemed about right. My car had no A/C when it got a charge either. He knew that the vehicle had sat for over a year without air before My Dad gave it to me. Based on that we went and got our truck from the other service place to save money. Our written estimate was 76.00 including everything unless we needed another pound, which isn't that much. Based on that we said ok and left. I was so happy because I thought that I had finally found a service shop with fair trustworthy prices. Instead he called with a new estimate of 156.00 - 36.00 more than the high rate we would have paid had we left it where it was to begin with! Over twice as much as his written estimate! My husband was tired of moving the truck around and said alright and just paid it knowing we will never go back. I would never trust a price over the phone with them or their written estimate - it means absolutely nothing. He said he'd been fixing cars for 35 years so you would think he could give a pretty close estimate. But he didn't even come close. They are bait and switch and they cheat. 156.00 for an A/C charge is absolutely ridiculous. Is that where you would want to go - to a place that more than doubled its phone AND written estimate for the exact same work - an A/C charge? BEWARE! read more

I live in Fraser and i had a friend visit me with their baby on their way out west. It was very hot and their AC just crapped out. I took them to Fraser Auto Repair and they were all just standing around. We explained the situation and they very rude and said it was 30 minutes to closing time. We asked if they could just make sure it wasn't something simple and they still said no. Not very nice and i will never go there again read more

We had a wonderful experience here earlier today when we brought over a used car that we were looking at. The owner took it for a test drive, put in on the lift, pointed out a couple minor flaws. It was all fast, easy and very friendly, just like automotive service is supposed to be - but so rarely is, anymore. Very reasonably priced. Been dealing with these guys for a couple years. They handle our services vans and take care of my dads personal cars. Very nice guys, always do what they say they will. I feel they are honest and dependable. Took one of my vans in and gave them a $ amount and said look it over and do what it takes up to that amount. Change whatever fluids, brakes etc. my vans can't be down. They did an oil change and rotated my tires and said nothing else was needed. That's honesty right there. Thanks guys!! read more

Glad I found this site, off all the people in the community, this is the first, and worst experience I ever had with William(Bill) the owner of Fraser Auto Care. He sells cars/trucks every now and then, which I bought a dump truck from him, he claimed it had no plates so I would have to ride in the passanger seat during the test drive. When we took it for a ride he drove nice and easy, after I purchased, and drove away, the transmission started slipping on the same day I drove it away, I could not even drive the truck back to him. I went back the next day and he tells me that it worked fine when he sold it to me and that it must have been something I did, and refused to give back my $1,500. Now I see why the truck was such a good deal, I'm not big on court, so I took a $400 loss and sold the truck for $1,100 to someone that wanted to fix the transmission.
