This is a good place to stop, straight forward, fair prices and not a long wait time. The car I was driving had a breakpad that was wearing down the metal rotor and it was making an etch in the rotor so I needed to get a pad fast. I call this place and he quoted me a pad price and install and he was 1.5 miles away. He said it'd take over 2hrs to fix but he did it in less time and gave me a diagnostic very quickly so I knew what I was up against. It's not glamorous and honestly I don't want my mechanic glamorous, I want one that gets his hands dirty and gets the job done and that's exactly what I got. Easily the best mechanic shop in Macomb county. I've taken multiple vehicles here for a few years and cannot say enough good things. The crew here is honest, efficient, and friendly. They know what they are doing and deliver on their promise of taking care of you and your vehicles at a fair price. I've never had to bring my vehicle back for the same problem and when it was something they don't do (transmission work) they were up front about taking it somewhere else. My husband and I have been here several times now for various things. They are very reasonable and honest. One time my husband brought his car for a new noise. The employee there looked at it, said it was a loose screw, fixed it, and didn't even charge him for it. I came today for an oil change. I had an appointment at 9 AM. (I called two days ago and this was the earliest available time, so be sure to call ahead!) When I got there, my car was brought right in. I was in and out in half an hour. It cost about $40, very reasonable. I am so thrilled to find this gem so close to home. This will be my go-to place for car issues. I've also recommended this place to my friends! read more

This is the best mechanic in the Shores/Eastpointe area. I'm a DIY'er but there's a few things I don't have the tools for. They are very fairly priced, don't try to sell you on things you don't need, and have a quick turnaround. I have an older set of spare tires I needed mounted on rims, Belle Tire turned me away because the tires were too old and Banner Auto quoted me $200 to mount and balance a set of tires....ridiculous. American Car Care did it within a few hours for $80 and disposed of the old tires. I really appreciate this place and couldn't recommend them more to anyone looking for an honest mechanic shop that does quality work. A+++++ read more

I won't ever go to another place to get work on my car. The guys and girl are so friendly and make sure you're comfortable while waiting by providing beverages, WiFi, and a tv. The best part is that the mechanics don't yank your chain to get more money out of you. They're honest with what needs to be done and search around to find the best deal on parts needed.
