The company advertises "professional, reliable, trained experts," but the service has been anything but that from day one. From the very first visit, the quality of work was disappointing. The man who arrived performed work that honestly could have been done by a teenager for a fraction of the cost, yet we were charged nearly $300. When I asked basic lawn care questions, his trained expert opinion was he wasn't sure. Completely unsure and unable to provide answers! They also promise advance notice before arriving, but they have failed to do so repeatedly. Crews have shown up as late as 8PM on a Saturday without any communication. Most concerning, while we were out of town, they SOMEHOW entered our LOCKED backyard without permission. We never authorized access, and entering a locked yard without consent is completely unacceptable and felt like a violation of our privacy. On top of that, the work itself is careless. Weeds along the sides are ignored, grass clippings are left piled around the house. For the amount they charge, the service is nowhere near worth it. This company requires full payment for the entire season upfront, but when we tried to cancel due to poor service and requested a refund since they would not be completing a full season worth of services, we were told "sorry wish we could help you, but the money has already gone to operations". Despite multiple requests, I have yet to receive documentation supporting the alleged "verbal no refund would be issued agreement". To make matters worse, during one of my calls, I overheard another customer expressing similar frustrations with the company's service!! Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. I recently purchased a greenhouse that requires a gravel pad under it for drainage, etc. Since I had such a good experience with him last time, I decided to contact him hoping he'd made gravel pads before, and he agreed to do it within a few days of my initial contact. He gave me a price upfront that was very fair, and even threw in the timber frame on thinking about it for free. He and two other guys showed up in the morning on the day we'd scheduled, and they immediately got to work leveling an ~2% grade where the pad would sit. Despite it being a bit hard to access (there's a small gate, then a bit of a trip to get to the site in my backard), they managed to get the area excavated in just a few hours using just wheelbarrows. They worked diligently putting down textile barrier, laying the timber frame, filling it a little with gravel, tamping it with a machine, and then repeating. I was very glad they did it in stages as the greenhouse directions stated, and the angular gravel they used was exactly what was called for and quite attractive besides. The timber frame is staked down in several places along the perimeter with some pretty hefty stakes, and the whole thing feels solid. There was a sprinkler head in the site that they capped off for me for free, too. They would have finished that day if it weren't for an intense storm, and to their credit they even worked a bit in the rain. I was especially impressed that, unasked, they moved a super heavy box of my greenhouse parts under cover that was left out and was going to get drenched. They returned promptly the next morning and finished up the job. Frankly, this would've taken me several weekends and a huge amount of effort to do myself, so having it done in just two days was incredible. Augustin's a great, friendly, no-nonsense guy; I really enjoyed our interaction. The pad's held up great since it was installed a week and a half ago; it's been through several sprinkler runs as well as torrential storms and it's drained beautifully and looks intact. I'd highly recommend Augustin for any hardscape projects like this. I'll definitely be contacting him again should I need more work done.

I was referred to Daysi, of Leaves, and contacted her by phone call, initially on Saturday 4/12. She texted me that she'd call me back, I waited, then she never did. Then she asked for my address, via text, without any phone call, consult, or explanation, such that I had no idea what she was going to do with my address. Was she scheduling an in-person walk-through? Was she looking up the size of my backyard, using publicly available information, to approximate the size of my backyard lawn to mow? I truly had no idea, given her poor communication. She also never told me her name, initially, forcing me to do all the work in our communication / endless text chat, which I found unbelievably exhausting. The only reason I stayed the course with her, was because she was recommended by a contractor who I highly trust. I continued waiting, patiently, for her to get her act together, then followed up with her, again, on Friday 5/2, given she'd read my texts, then fail to reply, so - yet again - I did her job for her, and asked her her working days/hours, to facilitate a better response from her. She never replied, or answered this question - directly. It started to become abundantly clear she was never going to call me. I returned back to the contractor who I highly trust, and asked him if he could move things forward with her. He did. 3.5-weeks later, we finally scheduled an in-person walk-through for my grass/lawn mowing, and side yard estimate, for Tue 5/6 at noon. Then it rained that day, and she asked about canceling. I have multiple medical issues, so I didn't want to delay any further. I said, I was still up to meet in the rain, if she was, and I politely offered her an umbrella. We discussed my grass mowing, she told me to name the price - which was also surprising & strange, so I asked my boss for his business case / pricing - then shared it with her, to modify for the size of my yard, which she did, and it was a fair price. She told me she'd send me an estimate, with options, for the side yard. I was expecting a normal estimate, I receive, from my normal contractors. An emailed PDF, with options, like I receive from my HVAC, electrician, plumber, for me to consider, then select, then sign, then schedule, then move forward. What I got instead was an incessant, inefficient, random, inconsistent, stream of texts, in a totally disorganized manner, with multiple photos of unlabeled plants, so of which were not according to my request, or even right for the side yard, per our discussion, and my requirements. Worse? We finally scheduled the lawn aeration, fertilizing, re-seeding, and grass mowing for tomorrow, Fri 5/16, from 8-10am, such that I take off work this entire week, to get a ton of home infrastructure projects completed, including this initial lawn mowing, given I don't trust her, so I want to be focused for the first time. I text her to confirm on Monday 5/12, she reads my texts all week - never responding, then less than 12-hours before our scheduled appointment, she comes up with a lie, that allegedly her equipment won't fit through my gate, when she saw both the gate and knows her equipment during our in-person walk-through over 1-week ago. Something is suspicious, and not adding up. If you want to waste 1-month & 3-days, being disrespected - to your face, and having all your free time wasted, contact this "business". She also never listened to me about requesting rock for the side yard, instead of mulch, or answered my questions about pruning the bushes she recommended, and she only gave me two options, none of which were what we discussed in-person, or what I wanted. This was a truly terrible experience, and one of the most unprofessional experiences with someone alleging to be a business, in my entire life, with time I don't have.
