I wanted to get an 8'x12' concrete slab on which to place an outdoor sauna in my backyard. I contacted a few concrete services for quotes, but they all considered it to be too small of a job and gave me minimum project costs that were well above what I was hoping to pay. Not so with Agustin! I described the project and he had no problem coming out to look at the site. Unlike other companies I contacted where I waited quite a while just to get an estimate on the phone, he came out the very next day to inspect the spot and give me a quote. It took around 10 minutes for him to scope out the work site, and he had a very fair itemized quote for me about an hour after he left. After I agreed, he was able to come the next day(!) to do the work. He started fairly early in the morning and was finished by the early afternoon. I had a last-minute request to round off the front corners of the slab; at first he said he didn't have the tools, but then he spotted a piece of landscape edging in my yard and suggested that he could use it. It came out great, as you can see in the photos, and I was really impressed that he not only wanted to accommodate a last-minute request but found a creative solution right there. Since the work site is in the furthest part of my backyard from the single access gate, I was concerned it would be hard to get the concrete in. Agustin suggested removing a fence panel; he did so during the work and replaced it after at no extra cost. Frankly, it feels a lot more stable now than before he took it off!
