When the rug dried, I found that he left behind balls of dog hair and dirt on the surface of the carpet. He did not clean next to the baseboard at all. When I vacuumed, my vacuum picked up every bit as much dirt and hair as if the carpet hadn't been cleaned at all. When I vacuum ordinarily, I reach a point where it's not picking up any more dirt, so clearly ordinary vacuuming does a better job than this carpet cleaning. Areas which mat down but fluffed up when I vacuumed are now permanently matted down. I paid $200 for 39 minutes of virtually nothing. Find a service that uses equipment that has more power than your vacuum, and which uses a tool to clean along baseboards and at least part of the way under beds, tables, etc.
