We hired Mojave Pools to build our pool, and we had problems at every stage of the process…read more Contract signed 10.31.2024 First, they buried the drainage system, and whenever they break something, they just point to the contract saying they're not responsible for anything. Then, when we were pouring concrete around the pool, we asked them if we could pour more, and they said yes. But later, they installed the pool heater on top of our concrete -- it was technically part of the plan, but it looked awful. They could have easily placed it beside the slab. Then they demanded an additional $300 to reinstall the heater in another spot. Their official plans show the filter and heater as tiny components, but in reality, the entire equipment setup took up the whole corner. We paid $3,000 for them to remove and reinstall the fence they damaged -- but they don't install gates. They simply don't do it, even though they took them down. We had to pay another $300 for gate installation. They didn't install a ground wire when they set up the filter and heater. When their crew laid the stone coping around the pool, within 2 months, the stones started to wobble. They had to remove and reset about 30 of them. They installed the salt system in the wrong location, then moved it -- but it still doesn't work. They didn't add stabilizer when they added the pool chemicals, and never told us it needed to be added. On the very first day the pool was filled and chemicals added, I asked their worker, Brown, if they offered pool maintenance. He said no -- even though two weeks later, when we had to clean the filter, he offered us service. But by that time, we had already hired someone else, who told us the salt system was installed incorrectly and that our pool was losing water rapidly. A month later, we had to replace the filters again and pay them $377. They also forgot to connect the automatic water refill system for the pool. We had to constantly remind them about everything. After the pool was filled, we discovered a leak. Their plumber told me the pipe was damaged under the concrete, but later the company blamed our concrete contractor, saying it was his fault and refused to do anything about it. They also forgot to connect the automatic water refill system for the pool. We had to constantly remind them about everything. One day, I saw a man walking in my backyard taking pictures of my pool. When I went outside, he said he was taking photos for social media. But no one had informed me that someone would be coming -- this person frightened me. I asked him to leave and did not give him permission to take photos. However, he came back another time when I wasn't home and took pictures, which they later posted on their Instagram page. In general, people from this company would come and go whenever they wanted, without notice. This is a terrible company with very poor communication. The owner once called me and just yelled at me. Stay far away from this company.

He listened carefully to the problem, made sure the details were noted, and efficiently scheduled Emilio, a Leslie's technician, to come out and take a look. My sincere thanks to Emilio for doing such a thorough inspection of the pump. He replaced the O-ring on the pipe, identified other details concerning the area beneath the pump, and gave me helpful advice on how to keep the motor in good condition. Most importantly, he was able to get the pump working properly again. Many thanks also to Brandi at the Bear Valley store, who went above and beyond by drawing on her extensive contact list to give me references for highly competent technicians who could address the additional issues Emilio identified. The manager was out so the kid left in charged stated that was not his job and he didn't know how to charge me. I asked if I could pay at a different location and he called his manager who I assume made him assist me with the purchase. He was very upset, kept saying that wasn't his job, he didn't know how, I was patient waited an hr for him to figure it on the screen, he finally said he's ready for payment and wants to charge me $700 more in installment than what's on the contract, he again stated I don't know this isn't my job that's what appears, they'll refund you.. I asked when? He states "I don't know, whenever" EXTREMELY unprofessional the whole interaction. The kid has no business working there. I thought he was high at first because he seemed out of it, very uninteresting and unwilling to want to help but no he just really has no knowledge of how to do his job which he also claimed was not his job, but after calling the other store they advise me it was and where not surprised. I left early from work to get this done. He stated the manager might be in the next day but would leave early. This is thousands of dollars in purchases, you would think there would be better customer service. This is my second interaction with the kid, the first one was similar but short and the manager was there so it wasn't a big deal but this time he was left alone and there is no way no one is aware of this employees worth ethics.

I did get to tell him this much. We spoke again after I looked at the jacuzzi I explained that my husband was mistaken there's no leak but we need a blower motor. He said that wasn't a problem he would come out check the wattage and order it, fee to come out is $85, told him that's not an issue. He said once the jacuzzi was up and running text and he see what time he could come out. Did that he never responded. My husband and I started looking online for blower motors, we found a new motor in its new casing which cost almost the same as the service fee. My husband changed it himself and our jacuzzi is back in business. This person customer service is horrible and I wouldn't recommend him to change a lightbulb for free!
