Was MOST impressed! I snapped one of the side arms off my frames yesterday, and figured they were goners. But hubby found this place online and it's close, so decided to give em a try. Well, they exceeded their good reviews! Not only was I convinced they couldn't be fixed, but if they could, I was willing to drop my glasses there and come back for them later in the afternoon. Moe, has great customer service experience. He is very courteous and professional. I took a pair of Ray-bans that had a missing rivet on the left hinge. Moe, had it repaired in two days, throughout that time, he called twice to update me in his progress and when the glasses were ready for pick up. I have used this place a few times now. I have two boys in glasses and they seem to have a knack for breaking their glasses. It's a bit of a trek, but we headed over here last week. I am assuming the owner is Moe, and he is great! He is very kind, personable, and explains everything well. He gave us options and fixed our glasses in about 45 minutes. I fell asleep the night before and I slept on my new Tom Ford eyeglasses. One side of the frames was broke off and the other was severely damaged. I called All Pro Eyeglass Repair, and a guy named Moe, with no hesitation, said he could fix them. I drove to Mesquite and I spoke through Moe through the-drive thru. I'm nominating this guy for a new name: "The Glasses Frame Whisperer". Took my somewhat high-end frames to a local optometrist, then to another repair shop first, and both said flat out: "no way to fix these". The spring-loaded part of the temple was completely broken (I felt and heard it break), rendering them unwearable. I guess I could've still worn them, but they sat crazy crooked on my face... Rang up this guy, explained my situation, and he tells me "I'll fix your frames. Been doing this for 28 years, I'll figure it out". Frame Whisperer had mad confidence, and I need to see for a living, so off I went to his shop. Walked in, he gives my frames the once-over, and says: "come back in 45 minutes to pick em up. Your frames are a little different than I've seen. Normally I could fix in 10 minutes but yours'll take a little longer". I poked around town for the allotted time, when I waltz back in, Frame Whisperer hands me my glasses, I put em on my head, and Bob's your uncle!! Completely fixed up!! He attempted to explain what he did and even how he did it (laser welding machine with a kung fu grip??). I have been to this place at LEAST 5 times for repairs, and I have not had a problem at all! I've met 3 different guys, and all 3 have been polite and VERY fast!! When my glasses went out of warranty last month, my only other option was a new exam ($50) new frames ($300+) and new lenses ($100+). AllPro charged me $59 to solder the temples back on my Versace glasses, which is WAY BETTER than paying $500+ for a new pair! I can't even tell they were broken to begin with! read more

Bow on the right side broke on a pair of gant glasses at the hinge. My prescription is strong enough that opticians typically don't have my lens in stock. Brought my glasses praying for a miracle they laser welded the frames back together gave me new nosepads and sonic cleaned the frames.in and out in less than 30 min and My glasses look brand new fit great and it cost me 59 bucks! Went to get a screw to reattached to my glasses that unexpectedly broke. I went through his drive through which wasn't busy at all, he popped it in right away AND didn't charge me a dime because I had all the parts he needed. All I can say is if you need a repair, this is your guy! read more

Avoid this place at all costs! I showed up around 3:30 and the sign said, "Open, come on in" yet the door was locked and no one answered the phone. After calling their other location to find out if their Mesquite site was open, I was told that the guy probably stepped out to grab a bite and should be back soon and that he would call him on his cell to let him know there was a customer waiting. After about 10 minutes he showed up and was on the phone to the other location and said, "Yeah, she's standing right here in front of me", so he didn't even answer their call when they tried contacting him earlier to let him know someone was waiting. Then I asked if he could fix the arm that broke off my Oakley titanium glasses and he quoted me a price of $59. I said, "that's a little high" and he said he was giving me a $10 discount off the regular price. Typical salesman. Oh really? Do I have "sucker" written on my forehead? He said, "You take it to any other place around here and that's what they're going to charge." I told him I did a Google search and discovered that this is a common problem with these frames and someone posted a wonderful review about a repair shop in Carlsbad, CA and that that guy only charged $10 to fix the same problem! Then he started telling me something about their "$40K laser machine" that they use to fix glasses and that they will be just like new. I told him that I wasn't willing to pay $59 and he came off as kind of arrogant and said, "Well, you can either buy a new pair or throw those away". I told him I could also sell them for parts on Ebay and get $30 like someone else did and then he proceeded to show me "bags of parts" that he had. What that had to do with my issue, I don't know. I told him I would look into shipping my glasses to the place in California and then he proceeded to tell me a "horror story" about some guy that he knew that shipped off his glasses to some place and didn't get them back after two weeks as promised and that he ended up having to sue the business. Yeah, right. I think the guy that works at this location is just full of hot air and he comes off as arrogant if you don't just go along with his price. I hate when people try to take advantage and I would not recommend using this place. Meanwhile, I called the guy at Hot Shots Eyeware Repair in Carlsbad CA and he told me he would fix them for $29 and solder "BOTH" sides and that included shipping! When I told him what this other place wanted to charge, he said, "What was he going to do - make you a new pair of glasses?" After reading all the glowing reviews on Yelp, I'll gladly take my chances and ship my glasses off to California for a quality repair at an honest price. read more

So I accidentally broke my boyfriends super expensive eye glasses, and it tore his heart. He just tucked them away under a pile of junk. Dr. Britt's optical store in Mesquite broke my 18 month old glass frame and then refused to fix/replace the frame. Another doctor's office recommended All Pro Eyeglass Repair to me so this morning I dropped my glasses off with "Moe" and in 30 minutes had them back in perfect condition at a very reasonable price with a 2 month warranty! My frames that I love had a loose screw at the temple. Turns out the screw had broken off inside, and the place where I bought them didn't have a tool small enough to drill it out. They did, however, offer to sell me new frames for $530 which included their 20% discount. She passed me a card to All Pro Eyeglass Repair and said they might be able to repair them but she wasn't optimistic. I left wondering how I was going to come up with $530 for new glasses. So I drove to Mesquite and met Moe. He was awesome and didn't blink when I explained the problem. 40 minutes and $39 later my glasses fit like new including new pads! The repair also came with a 2 month guarantee. I saw another person who came in with mangled glasses her dog had chewed and finally broken off the ear piece. He fixed those as well. This was such a positive experience. My husband and I were very impressed and pleased with our visit. To be honest, when we drove up I felt a little apprehensive because it looks a bit sketchy. But don't be fooled! Moe is wonderful. He was so nice and helpful, and he explained everything he was going to do to fix the glasses, and he did it right there so we could see everything.
