Our project took months and, as a result, the All Quality team almost became like family. The men working in our home were always kind, helpful and hard working. I called All Quality because my two story house had a leak in the ceiling of the first floor living room. The leak could not have been due to a plumbing issue as the bathrooms in the house were all on the complete other side of the house. Therefore I believed the leak was coming from somewhere in the roof and/or from around the window of the bedroom directly above the living room. Other contracting/roofing companies had come out who simply looked at the roof and told us either 1). We needed a completely new roof (e.g. $10K-15K repair) because our current one was 'incorrectly applied' or 2). They would try to remedy the problem (for $300-$500) but it would not be guaranteed as they weren't positive what the issue was. When Ed and Joe came to my house they looked at the problem area in the living room, looked at the roof from outside and went upstairs to look around the dormer window / roof area directly above where the leak was coming from. Based on what they found Ed told me that he believe the issue was due to the roof of the dormer being incorrectly applied and also the casing around the window not being properly sealed. For the entire job he quoted me $2000 - so not as cheap as the companies who 'assumed' what the problem was, but definitely not as expensive as those who simply quoted me a new roof. The selling point for me was when I asked Ed, 'So what happens if you do the work and my ceiling still leaks?', he looked me dead in the eye and said 'I'll either give you your money back or find and fix the problem for free, your choice'. He gave me that guarantee in writing and that is all I needed to know these were people I wanted to do business with. Within a week or two their guys came out and did the work. As of right now (3+ months after the works had been done), we have had some pretty serious Chicago suburb rain storms and I haven't seen one drop of water in my living room or felt one hint of dampness on my ceiling. You can find numerous companies who will tell you they are 'experts' and know best which means taking the most complete (and expensive) route.. Finding a company though with experience who will tell you 'I am just about positive you only need this work done but I might be wrong and if I am, that's my fault and I'll give you your money back' is an extreme rarity. I consider myself fortunate to have found the guys at All Quality. As a homeowner, its comforting to know you've found a company who will work not only for you but with you should you need them. Ed, Norm, and Robert did a great job remodeling our basement after a flood earlier this year. We had to dig up the basement foundation to install drain tile, and we hired All Quality to put it all back together, and the repair the flood damage to the walls and insulation. We recently purchased a condo and our hardwood floors were damaged so we contracted All Quality Inc to refinish the floors and they worked wonders. It took the team three days to completely finish a three bedroom condo and when we returned the floors looked like new. We were pleasantly surprised to see how good our floors turned out. The guys were also trustworthy, particularly Ed. We dealt with Ed for the entire time and it was nice to have one contact for the job. Since we were not moved in, we gave Ed the keys to the condo so that the team could come in and out of it without us being there. I love Ed and the team! I know it has taken a while to get to the review in but here we go! Several years back my first experience with All Quality was a new roof. Out of all of the contractors that had provided quotes, Ed proved to be honest, trustworthy and very knowledgeable. I hired him and they did great a job! Plus he discovered that there was a recall on my shingles because they were defective! He is also a bonafide professional (cool as a cucumber!) when working with the insurance claims adjusters with their crazy demands and proof of cost justifications for all work needed. That being said, I could not move forward with my basement rebuild without All Quality. Although the insurance company more or less tried to corner me into another contractor (State Farm approved) with a lower quote, they proved to be super shady and tries to make all clients sign a authorization agreement up front for payment (RECON SOLUTIONS - RUN FAR AWAY and don't sign anything!). They ultimately got fired by me and All Quality came to the rescue and did a fabulous job! My basement is incredible and I constantly get compliments. Now there were a few gotchas and setbacks along the way, but they were handled perfectly and I appreciate the wonderful service and work that All Quality provided. They will always be my first choice contractor for any major work that needs to be done to my home. We contracted with All Quality to remodel the closet in our master bedroom. It involved drywall work, electrical, painting and mounting new closet shelving from the Container Store. We needed them to finish by a certain date, and I will say that the project moved along ok, but a mistake resulted in a delay about mid way through. Scheduling with them was a challenge since we both had M-F day jobs (not a knock against them, but we had hoped more wknd work would be done). In addition, one of the workers did not speak english very well and was hard to communicate with. Cleanup after each work day was subpar for the first couple days. After we conveyed our frustration, the owner stepped in and steered the project in the right direction. He made an extra effort to please us and get the job done. So to their credit, the final product was finished on time and was of good quality. The price was fair. read more

I used All Quality when a pipe broke in the master bathroom, ruining that one and then leaked down into my downstairs bathroom making an even bigger mess. Ed, Randy and the crew were very nice men to work with, understanding to a fault. The work was finished last fall and all was well. Almost a year later I realized that there was a guard on the tub fixtures which prevented cold water from coming out. I called Ed who immediately scheduled me in for a "look see" visit. They came today and fixed the problem without any prompting from me. If you know anything about construction contractors they aren't very likely to double back and check out their work anytime soon. All Quality recently replaced the roof on our condo and repaired some of our gutters. They did a fantastic job. I worked with Ed who repeatedly expressed his genuine interest not just in doing the job or winning the business, but in doing the job WELL. Our building also had other items that may or may not have needed repair/maintenance at the same time and while he was aware of them he never pushed for the upsell and was honest when he said they weren't urgent issues. They stayed true to their quote with no surprise costs. They were punctual and efficient. And while a roof and gutters aren't the types of things I sit and admire the beauty of on a regular basis, like one might a newly remodeled bathroom or kitchen, I can say that we haven't had any issues with the work in the months since it was completed. And I feel confident that if we had Ed would have been immediately responsive. They were not the cheapest or the most expensive quote we received. That said, their fees were reasonable and it was very clear they were doing an honest job (one company told me they would need to bring cranes in to fix our gutter while Ed said there was absolutely no need). They ultimately won our business because I really felt like they would answer my calls, hold themselves accountable and not try to cut corners. I felt like it was important to Ed that they actually do a good job, and this was important to me since we've had too much work done around here that was so crappy that it just had to be redone much too soon afterwards.
