Pretty pleased with All-Scapes work! We had several trees that were dangerously leaning over the roof and power lines and I contacted 3 different tree service companies for quotations. 2 of them, upon showing up for the work, decided on the spot that they couldn't do it: one due to the ground being too soft and not supporting their equipment; the other due to fear that their equipment would crack my driveway (why didn't they mention this when they gave me the quotations to begin with?) All-Scapes was different - they have specialized light-weight equipment that helps minimize damage to the lawn and can access difficult spots. And their price was right in between the other two companies! Don't get me wrong, there will be some damage and wear-and-tear on your lawn with the movement of the equipment and branch and trunk removal, but it's less than what you would experience with some other companies' big heavy wheeled trucks gouging the lawn. . They gave me a call the afternoon before the day of the job to give me a heads-up; they showed up on time; they did good work and cleaned up afterward. Shon gave us an estimate in a timely fashion. We felt that his quote was very fair! Our work was postponed by a day due to the excessive temperatures and we were informed of this change in advance. Shon's son, Cobby, and the team arrived punctually and worked consistently throughout the day cutting down 4 (50-60 ft.) trees in our backyard. It was necessary to strategically maneuver the lift in order to avoid hitting the garage, our deck, our house, and the neighbor's property. It was pleasant to work with each member of the team who skillfully completed the job we had agreed on, and left our property immaculate. Had trees removed and new ones planted. Now I have one very dead tree and others planted with burlap still on that don't look too good. Roots were supposed to be removed but pieces were left sticking up-- the ground a mess..Owner has told me he would fix this the beginning of the week- that was months ago. My check was cashed though. I needed 2 trees removed because one broke and landed on the other holding it up but both were hanging over my house. I needed these removed before the weekend due to the forecast of remnants of Hurricane Dorian coming. Not wanting to risk them both coming down I contacted several tree services for this emergency and Allscapes was able to meet my time deadline. Sean and his 3 man crew were all over this. They knew what they had to do and Sean ensured that they followed his lead on how to tackle this very difficult job. One wrong cut or the premature removal of certain limbs would have caused the broken tree to move and crash down on my house. Using the spider lift with bucket to get to the difficult areas, Ray, the lead chainsaw guy worked his magic along with tieing off the sections and piece by piece the trees were cut and removed without damaging my house, shed, fence or yard. I was truly impressed at how efficient they were. And the clean up after made the yard look better than when they arrived. You couldn't ask for better at a good price. read more

All-Scapes was here last week to trim up all the many trees in my yard and take down a couple of others. The three guys who did the work were fabulous!!! They checked with me to make sure that they had trimmed all the branches that I wanted removed as they worked their way around the property. This is the second time that I have hired All-Scapes and am planning to have them come back before the winter to take down a few more trees. I had a large oak tree on my property line that was leaning into my neighbor's yard; it was starting to develop rot in its base and had an ant infestation. I decided to have it removed, and called AllScapes, a local company close to my residence. The company owner, Sean, visited to assess the situation and plan the removal with me. Sean's crew subsequently arrived and performed their work in an impressive manner. They took great care and were skillful in ensuring that no falling debris entered the adjoining property. One of their trucks cut me off on route 2 the other day. Second time this has happened. I had to jam on my brakes hard and the guy behind me nearly hit me. No blinker, he easily saw me but I guess he just figured since he's in a large truck with a trailer her can just do whatever he wants. If they have this little regard for someones life I can't imagine they would care about your landscaping either. Learn to drive. read more

Allscapes Tree Service just completed taking down 7 trees and a couple of dead tree trunks in the yard. They were competitively priced and the crew was fabulous. They worked efficiently and non-stop until the job was done. They then proceeded to clean up the debris from the cutting and left the yard in pristine condition. I have been cut off more times than I can count on route 2 in Exeter by this company's crews. They have been doing work at a business that I was at and also blew sand all around my car. I would NEVER hire them simply based on the fact that they have no disregard for their customer's customer and also for fellow drivers on the road. I would not imagine them to be courteous, timely, or careful if on my property. read more

Would like to give no stars. Basically, ..no call/no show for an appointment to give me an estimate on a landscape project. The appointment was for 430. By 445 no call, no show. It took 2 calls to the office for the guy doing the estimates to call me back . When he did, his message was that he had a 4 pm (or now, according to an email from All-Scape, he was leaving at 4 pm) in Narragansett and couldn't make a 430 in north providence bc of beach traffic. Well, even in the dead of winter, that's a 50 minute drive, so I don't understand how they're scheduling appointments... On top of that, if he knew he wasn't going to make it, or would be late why didn't he call me close to 430? Why did it take me calling the office 2 times in order to get a response? read more

The owner was pushy and rude. He promised the equipment would not damage my plantings, but it rolled over plants and shrubs, and left track marks in the lawn. Once the job was done, his crew left wood chips covering my back yard and roof. After numerous calls over two weeks asking the ower to clean up wood chip and sawdust debris, he never called back. I had to hire another yard care company to clean up the mess they left behind. I will never use nor recommend them All-Scapes again. read more
